We are currently in a rental awaiting the completion of our home build, and the colour of this toaster goes beautifully with both our rental kitchen colour scheme and the kitchen colour scheme of our new home. We previously had a Morphy Richards four-slice toaster that was very similar to the Russell Hobbs Midnight four-slice toaster, however I found that the Russell Hobbs toaster seems to toast the bread much more evenly. We spent a lot of money on our previous toaster. I was annoyed that it didn’t go the distance. Got the Russel Hobbs and my teenagers announced that it was the “best toaster ever”. Teenagers are a tough crowd so a compliment from them is gold !! Fast and cooks evenly. That’s all you actually want from a toaster ! We were so impressed we went and bought the RH sandwich press as well !

I bought this toaster along with the matching kettle in 2021. This toaster replaced a great toaster that I'd had as a wedding gift for 16 years. We only upgraded to match our house we moved into, to be on trend . I actually love the matte finish and retro styling. BUT this is by far the worse toaster I've owned or used. It takes forever to brown / cook toast, even on the top setting. I can actually put a slice on high and go and use the bathroom, return and it just pops but barely browned. I also really, really wish it had a crumpet setting like my old toaster did. It takes two pushes down to toast the toast! Crumpets come out raw. And as a cleaner by occupation the attached crumb tray is not that great, and seems fidgety to clean. Slide out trays are much easier. Having 4 slots makes it easy to make toast for the whole family, though slightly annoying when only making one piece of toast and the burners go on for 2 slices. I rarely leave reviews however this toaster deserves acclaim as worst toaster I have ever encountered.Looks like the job. Does not deliver. Very suspect build qualityFirstly. Its slow to toast. I have never had to wait so long for - toast.Secondly. Even on the full setting toast would often be under-toasted.Thirdly. After only 6 months one side (one pair of toasting slots) simply stopped working.Junk. How hard can it be to fabricate a reliable toaster in 2023!?

The toaster itself is very eye catching with it’s Matt black colour and chrome toaster slots and knobs . This toaster would suit any kitchen decor .It’s easy to use and has a reheat and defrost function . You just pop your bread item in and turn the knob to the desired cooking level of your toast and pull down the silver leaver .The bread toasts evenly . I love it !I highly recommend this product .
The Russell Hobbs Addison 4 Slice Toaster is a very welcomed addition to the kitchen. The brushed stainless steel looks very stylish and eliminates finger prints common on other toasters. Having the 4 slice compartments truly is a blessing! Having children this is a must have, especially trying to get out the door in the morning. However it is also practical for individuals or couples. The 4 slice compartments allow for a variety of thickness, allowing a range of bread types to be toasted. The browning control is conveniently located at the front to allow personal tastes when toasting. The toaster cooked the bread very well and evenly. I love the overall look of this toaster and it is so practical for every kitchen. I highly recommend!
Bought this toaster just over a week ago. Looked nice, I like the drop down crumb tray as opposed to the slide out type but that's as good as it gets. Burned in the elements as directed to get rid of that horrible new toaster smell, then adjusted the settings to low to start with as we don't like burnt toast. Each time we use the toaster we adjust the setting to a higher number as the bread is not toasted. Toasts unevenly, one side is barely toasted, just used at setting 4 which equates to 4 minutes & the bread is still not toasted to my preference while the other side is hardly toasted at all. 4 minutes in my old toaster & the smoke alarm would be going off. The worst toaster ever.I never leave reviews, but this time I had too.I have returned the toaster 3 times in less than 12 months.After only 6 weeks one side (one pair of toasting slots) simply stopped working.When it works you’ll put your toast in & pops up again in 10 seconds. Same problem with the second toaster.Takes so long to toast, I have never had to wait so long for toast.I’ve had cheaper toaster in the past that have lasted longer & done a better job.Not worth the money & eventually got a refund.
