Purchased today in my local store, Exactly as shown online and price. Comes with choice of extra one year guarantee in the box if register online. Very sleek looking and nice dark grey colour, doesn't take up space thought was small but its a good design which makes it look smaller, it is 1.7Litre capacity, is a little noise when it's operating but it's excellent because it doesn't drip everywhere when pouring and very nice spout action. The only niggle is wished lid opened up a bit wider angle but it's only because I have tap levers so lid gets in the way a bit. This kettle is excellent value and looks quality so gave it 5 stars despite the lid.

Bought to replace an 8yr old Russell hobbs colours kettle, which still worked but had build up of calcium round the metal top, which wouldn't shift. Like the shape of the colours kettle better than this one, but can't fault functionality or speed of boiling

I chose this kettle as my previous plastic kettle was eventually eaten away by our hard water despite regular de scaling.Within a few weeks the rim that meets the lid is corroded with white limescale which won't come off. I tried limescale remover but this wasn't fully successful and has marked the black colour. The screws holding the filter are rusty too. The kettle looks old and isn't even a couple of months past new! It is also heavier than my plastic Dualit kettle and of course the metal is too hot too touch once boiled.I won't buy a metal kettle again!

Was looking for the right kettle to compliment my kitchen and found it with this beautiful cream Russell Hobbs one. It is compact but also holds more than enough water for my needs. It boils quickly and being upright does not take up too much space. Perfect!!!!
Well designed and sturdy; feels good in the hand; easy to use and boils quickly. What more could I ask, that it was in stock and bought quickly to the click and collect point? It was!

This is the second one of these kettles that I've had. I bought one that was fancier but it was awful. This is nice and light and it's easy to fill to the exact amount that you need so no wasted electric boiling too much water.
Very smart and ( almost) matches the toaster . A niggling criticism is that the base is chrome instead of matching the equivalent black base of the toaster. Minor but disappointing when sitting side by side. If going to design both to match , then make them match!
Quiet boil. Lovely pale cream colour, bought matching toaster. Both look great in my cream kitchen. Highly recommend.
The worst kettle I have ever seen. The water level gauge is behind the handle so you cannot see it when you are filling the kettle. The outside of the kettle gets VERY hot when it is boiling (Health & Safety laws?) The lid is awkward to open. The only good point is, it boils water.
