Ultra soft and incredibly durable, our 100% French flax linen flat sheet in Rust is a versatile addition to your collection. Generously sized to just graze the floor, these sheets serve as lightweight covers on their own, or as a luxurious extra layer alongside other linen pieces. The thing about linen is it only gets better over time; the more you use and wash it, the softer and more comfortable it gets. What’s more, linen is good for you too: it’s anti-static, anti-bacterial and naturally temperature-regulating.

The fabric is well-made and the rust color is gorgeous. Pay attention to the size guide, especially if you're ordering from outside Australia. I'm in the US, and I initially ordered a King size fitted sheet for my King size mattress without checking the dimensions. The next day I realized my mistake - the King size sheet would have been too small for my mattress, and I should have ordered a Cali King size fitted sheet. I emailed BedThreads customer service and they got back to me quickly and amended my order. Great service and a great product.

I initially bought the wrong colour and Bed Threads was amazing in the exchange process. I have several sheets and quilt covers from Bed Threads and the colours and feel of them is unlike anything else. Couldn't recommend more.

If you've been considering flax linen sheets but haven't jumped in yet... I'm telling you, JUST DO IT ALREADY!You won't regret it. I mixed the colors Rust and Oatmeal for my sheets, duvet and pillow cases and I looooove the earthy toned vibe! I've washed them a handful of time since my purchase and they really do get softer!I will absolutely be adding to my collection!
I love this beautiful color. I did purchase two flat sheets because I cannot find a fitted sheet that will fit my Super King Euro bed (180 x 200). It works great.Don't believe the hype that you don't need a top sheet - I love them. They protect your duvet cover as well (who wants to pull off that duvet cover every week and wash it and struggle to put it back on).I am set to buy the Terracotta set pretty soon which will include the throw.I love the softness and the quality is superb. Thanks Bed Threads!
I bought a queen sized fitted sheet, for an ecosa mattress. Post fitting, the sheet had some more give left, which I think is fantastic! That means I can use the sheets, no matter whether its for me, or any other bed in the house. The colour is stunning, finish is perfect, the feel is buttery. This was my first purchase, but the customer experience and product quality has me coming back for more.
I purchased the “make your own” set with1 x oatmeal duvet cover1 x rust fitted sheet1 x rust flat sheet2 x oatmeal pillow cases2 x rust pillow casesI love the quality feel and look of these sheets, they arrived promptly considering the pandemic and packaging was good - the colour is the stand out however, even after their first wash they’re breathtaking. I put off purchasing these for 2 years and I wish I’d had them months and months ago!! ✨💛😍
I now have two flat sheets, a rust and a turmeric. I use them as bed covers and if it's hot I sleep under the sheet and it's a lovely weight for hot nights. At first I thought sleeping next to linen would be a bit rough but they are washing well and I don't find them rough at all. They feel quite cool and comfortable. Initially I didn't love the rust colour ( LOVE my turmeric) as it is slightly more brown than the photo depicts, but I have grown to really like it, I would have called it Gingerbread because I think it fits the colour better. Overall I am liking my sheets and have just ordered a terracotta one to mix and match with the other colours. The colours are a bit addictive!
I wasn't sure about going to a linen sheet, but the color selection persuaded me. They have a nice deep pocket and are very easy to put on a thick mattress. I have a 21" thick bugger which is hard finding a fitted sheet to cover the sides. These sheets did the trick. I will admit that they are not as soft as I had hoped, but I have only washed them twice so far. I washed them on cold and line dry them so I have no idea if they shrink or not. The dry time indoors is fast - about 12 hrs - so hang them at night, dry by morning. I love the natural fibers - no nasty chemicals that are now being exposed as hazardous to our hormonal health. With the current heat wave, they stay cool and comfortable at night. So healthy, good quality and good sizing. Go for it, just don't ... i ordered a few bed sheets from bed threads (in the colors rust, lavender, and olive). i love bed threads' wide selection of beautiful, trendy (but classic) colors at an affordable price and sustainable packaging, and the rust color is especially rich and warm. i read a lot of reviews about bed threads' linen being buttery soft - in my experience, the lavender came this way (very soft and smooth to the touch) while the olive and rust weren't. i wouldn't say that they are rough, but they were stiffer and more textured than the lavender - maybe it has something to do with the concentration of dye? as an experiment i used the sheets without washing them first. it's been about 3 weeks and they've definitely gotten softer with time and use. they do wick away moisture ...
