Better than the Tradie

You get all the attachments included, the hose and cord are longer, Bunnings stocks spare filters and bags.Considering its not going to be used all day every day, the fact that the castors are slightly less durable than the Tradie doesn't bother me, especially with a 4 year replacement warranty. If the Karcher stuffed up and you tried to return it theyd have to ship it off and do maintenance where as Ryobi will just replace it.Good buy really.

Purchased this vacuum because I needed something powerful with a decent sized drum to use in the wood working workshop and garages. What made me choose this machine was the 1500w motor, the 30L barrel and the stainless steel suction pipes. All that would be great if the unit didn't keep clogging it self up at the barrel inlet.Due to the way this machine is designed, there is not much room between the barrel inlet and the filter in the barrel and because the filter takes up the best part of the barrel, it doesn't allow the dustbag to expand, causing it clog

Fit fr task machine!

First impression - How does this all go together, but when I checked my emails Ryobi had sent me instructional video on how to it went to gether and the use of the filter combinations which is essential for the cleaners operation. The machine itself - first use cleaning the car - well... it stripped of pet hair and the remains of dirt, bark and wood chips after collecting fire wood. Great job!Yet to use it with the drop saw but if it works as good as it does as a standard vacuum cleaner worth maybe the 5th star.Addition of the adaptor to attach other fittings or to your saw or sander because of different diameter fittings 10/10.Only down side is the fidley changing of the filters.

Good gear, great price.
10 November 2022

Like other Ryobi gear I have this is first class. I purchased to use with a mitre saw and it does a good job of keeping dust from the rest of the workshop. Good suction, good features, well built, good warranty at a great price. And after the drop saw, the vac is first rate at cleaning up the rest of the workshop, wet or dry. 100% recommended.

Good shop vac and very powerful with water
21 March 2023

This is a powerful wet and dry vacuum with shop vac capability, so that it turns on and off automatically when a connected device is switched on and off. I used it for several hours connected to a sander. It comes with filters for wet and dry use. I used it to suck water from a pond filter and it filled its 30 litre tank within seconds. It is easily drained via the outlet at the bottom. The filter is easily washed in the washing machine. There’s places for the accessories but they are easily knocked loose - it will need its own area for storage in the shed where it can’t be bumped. There’s no way to hold the unused wet or dry filters with it so they’re handy; that would be a nice improvement if there was a bag to hang off it for the filters and small attachments.

I’m happy with it.
30 April 2022

I was sick of household vacuum cleaners that either didn’t work well or died after a short time. I’m very happy with this purchase. It is loud, but it works very well. Also, it is very easy to wheel from room to room, and the long tube allows me to vacuum the whole room whilst it stands in one place, so I’m not dragging it around constantly. Great for pet owners who have lots of dog hair to vacuum up - bag doesn’t fill up so fast. Recommend.

Perfect for the Hobbyist-Workshop

I was searching for a combined dust extractor + vacuum for my little DIY projects at home. Other manufacturers offer great products too, but 3-4 time the price of this one. I am super happy with this Ryobi 30l vacuum, it is one of my best tool-purchases in years! The vacuum function has great suction and is useful in all areas of the house/workshop. Best thing, it comes with all the additional add-ons and adapters other brands usually charge for.The second function as a dust extractor is fantastic for all sorts of power tools that provide a dust extraction port (e.g. sanders, routers, saws ...). The power tool is plugged into the socket of the vacuum and the suction switches on/off as soon as you start/stop using the power tool. Sucks and blows in the best kind of way!

G'day mates! Just wanted to share me thoughts on the Ryobi 1500W 30L Wet & Dry Vacuum. This little beauty has been a godsend on the job site.I've had me fair share of vacuums in me time, but none of 'em have had the power of this Ryobi. A little loud, but that's cause she sucks up wet and dry messes like a champ, and the 30L tank is plenty big enough for a full day's work. But the best part, mate, is the blower function. I've used it to clear leaves and debris off roofs, driveways, and even out of me mate's pool. It's saved us hours of backbreaking work, and we've even had a bit of a laugh using it to blow each other's hats off.All in all, I can't recommend the Ryobi 1500W 30L Wet & Dry Vacuum enough. It's tough, reliable, and gets the job done. And if you're ... MoreG'day mates! Just wanted to share me thoughts on the Ryobi 1500W 30L Wet & Dry Vacuum. The only thing I’d change is the instructions.
8 November 2022

This unit is great value and with the warranty, it really is a no brainer. I was comparing with a yellow one. Turns out ryobi have some decent YouTube videos on this unit that talk you through how to set it up for wet vs dry that are much better than the written instructions. It was easy to assemble, but when to use what filter wasn’t in the printed instructions. The inbuilt outlet was brilliant for my sander, turning on and off with the tool, just watch the overall wattage rating on the outlet, with a ~1500W motor on the vacuum, it doesn’t leave much extra space for the attached tool, but you can get around that for your higher wattage tools by just plugging them in direct.

I was after a vacuum that could deal with white dog hair that had imbedded itself into car upholstery , deal with a house under renovation and day to day dog hair house vacuuming that our normal house vacuum couldn't deal with .. and I found it OMG It is amazing , I've switched my old cleaner metal pipes over to this one as the plastic pipes are a bit flimsy but they work , my old house attachments also fit which is helpful , ( then I fond that there are Ryobi vacuum attachments) the suck strength is well above what I was expecting and the noise is the same amount of noise my old normal house vac makes and not as bad as what I was expecting after reading some of the reviews before buying .
