Bought this sprayer to replace an old manual 7.5L despite having some reservations due to some mixed reviews. Should have jumped in much earlier. Used it a few times now and haven't had any of the problems some others have. Pressure when first pushing the trigger is slightly stronger than what it is after holding down for a while but even then is still strong enough to spray areas easily. Has cut my spraying time in half, easy to clean and batteries last forever. The only downside is the shoulder strap seems to slide off my shoulders somewhat and I don't know if this is a minus but I seem to use twice as much spray for the same area. If it keeps performing reliably, then its a great buy.

Had to remove mould and dirt from under the Eaves and awnings, and the weatherboards of the house. Originally tried one of those "Pump up" Spray bottles which was useless. Purchased this Sprayer, and found it so simple to use. Adjustable head from spray to jet, allowed consistent coverage of the cleaner. I was so impressed, I then went and sprayed the concrete paths with Moss Killer. Finished the whole lot in a day. Only downside - should come in a 10L capacity!

A lot of reviews worried me about the reliability of the motor and pump. I needed a basic sprayer for weeks and insecticide for the garden and around the house. It worked perfectly out of the box. It was able to complete the whole 7.5L reservoir all the way to the bottom - it only started spurting and foaming once I was pretty much empty. It did the job great.I haven't had any issues after a few days of work with weeding and pest control. I then ran the whole thing with clean water and emptied out the reservoir completely - so to date, I had done about 5 full tanks of liquid and experiences no issues. My only real complaint is that the metal latches that lock the pump to the bottle, arent aligned so well, so the pump pushes up against the measuring cup (main cap) ... MoreA lot of reviews worried me about the reliability of the motor and pump. I decided to try this Ryobi 18v sprayer after reading so many positive reviews about it online, and I’ve gotta say, I’m very glad I did. There’s a definitive difference between this one and the old manual pump air pressure sprayers which are so common. The spray pressure is constant, and not having to stop to pump means the job gets done in a much quicker time than I’m used to. It’s amazing how superior it is, and I’ll never go back to the old method again. Thanks Ryobi, that’s another mundane task you’ve made quicker and easier to get over and done.
A great little 7.5 litre sprayer for use around the garden. Perfect size for spraying fertiliser and white oil on fruit trees, large enough to get the job done without being overly heavy to carry. Also handy for spraying weed control or liquid fertiliser on lawns. Fill lid is large enough to take most additive bottle pourers, clear markings on side for effective mixing and pump pressure is really great. Nozzle adjusts from fine spray to direct and trigger is easy to operate. Very happy with this purchase.
Bought the sprayer unit predominantly for weed spraying and it works perfectly in this scenario. The unit itself is fairly light and I used a small 2Ah battery which gave me sufficient run time to cover the front and backyard without needing to change batteries or recharge. The measuring cup/cap is a great idea and the fact it stores on the unit itself is clever but you need to clean it out before placing it back on the sprayer otherwise the contents will spill down the side. The strap is a little lightweight and when the sprayer is full it doesn't spread the load but it is fine as the sprayer level drops. Spray control is good and the unit is fairly easy to clean. Highly recommended.
I have been using Ryobi products for over 10 years and after using other brands in the same price range, have become a unofficial Ryobi brand ambassador, or so my kids keep jokingly calling me.I bought the new model of the Ryobi Sprayer about 2 months ago and have put it through its paces already in small to medium gardens. The new larger capacity 7.5Lt model has a couple of improvements over its predecessor, with the obvious one being the bigger reservoir. The smaller 3.5Lt was not enough on medium to larger jobs, but the new models bigger capacity allows you to get the job done much faster with less stops to refill.Other improvements I found was the new model was quieter, so less disturbance to your neighbours at 7am, and a higher spray volume which gives you ... MoreI have been using Ryobi products for over 10 years and after using other brands in the same price range, have become a unofficial Ryobi brand ambassador, or so my kids keep jokingly calling me.I bought the new model of the Ryobi Sprayer about 2 months ago and have put it through its paces already in small to medium gardens. The new larger capacity 7.5Lt model has a couple of improvements over its predecessor, with the obvious one being the bigger reservoir. Achieving both of those while not seeming to consume any more battery power. The only point I wished to address was that I noticed there hasn't been a change to the design of the power button. This is an issue important to me, as maybe through my own carelessness, the power button on my last Ryobi sprayer had become inoperable by water getting past the rubber button itself.I just wanted to make a point for current and potential owners to take extra care when refilling and cleaning their sprayer. Do not let water spray onto the button.Take the time to remove the pump and battery section from the reservoir so it does not get wet. Also dry your hands before operating the power button. All in all the Ryobi 18v 7.5Lt Sprayer is a must have for any gardener or home maintenance. It works well and will save you a bundle of time in spraying your gardens with various fertilisers or weed control. As an unofficial Ryobi Ambassador, Buy from their wide range of products, then get out there and get your Ryobi On like no-one is watching!!Happy Gardening People.
I have been buying and using Ryobi ONE + tools and equipment for several years now and have never stopped recommending them to all my friends and family, who one by one have all jumped on the bandwagon. I think the initial reason I stared buying them was because of the battery being interchangeable on all the tools, but over the years it has become apparent that they are good quality tools and have a great warranty and customer service policy. The 18V ONE+ 7.5L Sprayer that I just registered was not a new purchase it was a replacement (under warranty) of one I had purchased a few years ago. There are a number of 1/2 star ratings for this, saying things like 'pressure bad, you get a few seconds spray then it slows to a dribble'. I tried it with just water, it worked fine. Tried it with the recommended mix for 1-year path weeder, had the problem. There is a tiny little microfilter at the bottom of the feed tube. My 'mix' had no particulate matter, and removing this filter made the sprayer work fine. Without this issue I'd say 5 stars, if for some reason you must have the filter, 1 star. You could experiment with some other filter, e.g the one you might find in a paint sprayer.
Long time Ryobi fan with a dozen of Ryobi tools which I swear by. However, this sprayer let's the brand down. I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews but decided to give it a go. After less than 5 minutes of spraying it was apparent that this product was not worth the cost of the cardboard box it came in. Pressure is terrible, after more than five seconds of spraying the pressure drops to next to nothing. Release trigger and re-engage trigger and you get another five seconds of good pressure. Even tried priming the pump as someone suggested - worked for twenty seconds. I love Ryobi but this thing is sub-standard for a brand that well-known. Go for something else - anything but this piece of rubbish.
