Very easy to use and clean, little filter does an awesome job if you clean it out regularly.. gets into corners easily.. the supplied 1/4 sheets are great to use.. if you consider buying actual full sheets and rip them into quarters.. probably easier to stick to the stick-on ones.. which are obviously a little dearer..

Another addition to my 18V toolbox that I’m very happy with. It has great feel in the hand, especially with a small 2.5 battery on board. I like the combination hook and traditional spring clip paper mounting. (Thrown out my old mains powered units)

Works great, makes sanding large areas so much easier. Found the exact sanding pads it comes with, sold by bunnings as well (not ryobi though).
Great little sander for those quick jobs. Awesome being able to use standard sheets cut down to fit (nice and cheap)
Picked this up to sand along trims and my weatherboards as I'm repainting my house DIY, figured it would get into corners better than my Ryobi 125mm orbital sander, and it does, but on the first use, the new hard plastic style hook and loop pad melted in the corner, instantly making the pad unable to hold the paper in the most common used corner about 20mm in each direction.. I understand that once the pad wears out entirely I'll be able to use strips of regular paper as it has the clamps, but when I bought this I also bought large packs of velcro sandpaper to suit, so i'm invested in it. I will need to be more careful with this sander going forwards. - UPDATE - I replaced the tool and have been more careful with the pad, however nearly straight away the pad started ... A good tool to supplement the various sanding tools in the one plus range , I start off with the orbital sander and finish off the project with the sheet sander
Compact finishing sander, seems to produce excellent results for small projects.
I was truly surprised at how well this sander worked. Very effectively removed the top surface of the timber I was working on and smoothed the finish beautifully. Also very impressed with the filter, virtually no dust at all! Ryobi are continuing to make high quality equipment that competes with the dearer brands at a cost effective price!
The perfect tool for what I'm currently using it for (prepping weather boards for painting). The only annoying thing is the dust collector falls off to easy. Other than that it's great.
