I bought this a few weeks ago and love it ♥️ The suction is great and easy to move around my workshop. I plan to connect a cyclone unit, to save the filter, but so far it’s a great addition to my shop. The only part I would fault is the connectors for all Ryobi tools SHOULD be able to connect straight to the Ryobi vacuum, which they don’t. I’ve had to make smaller connectors for my Ryobi Sander and Ryobi Scroll saw so far. Thankfully it does fit the connection to my sliding mitre saw. I was also extremely thankful I didn’t have to rely on the included Ryobi Instruction manual to put this together - it was easy to connect and use. Ryobi, I know I’m not the only one who has issues with your instruction manuals as this is the general consensus on each forum I jump on - ... MoreI bought this a few weeks ago and love it ♥️ The suction is great and easy to move around my workshop. My 15 year old Dyson died this week and I didn't want to spend a fortune on another one. I needed something tough as I have Dogs and Cats and that means animal hair and cat litter to vaccum up. I talked to friends and everyone recommended this Ryobi. I must admit I was sceptical but I loved the price so bought one. Wow so glad I did. I love it. It's super light picks up the Animals hair brilliantly and the litter easily. Excellent suction and I'm not stopping all the time to empty it. Great price for a great product.

Bought to replace a Henry for workshop and car cleaning use. Suction excellent and managed to clean lots of dog hair from my daughter's car seats. My only slightly negative comment would be that the fittings are a little on the flimsy side and the cord is quite short. However I kept the ancillary wand/fittings/carpet head from my dead vac and now I have the best of both worlds. At 1/5th the price of a new Henry. Haven't used the wet function yet so can't comment on that. The 30L 1500W model may well be worth the extra spend, I think it's got a lot more features as well. Can't comment on reliability yet as its pretty new, so 3 stars.

My Wife and I recently purchased an older home built in 1979. The previse owners had left a lot of rubbish in the roof space, and on further investigation I found the wiring was in need of some attention. But fist the dirt and dust had to go. So a purchased the Ryobi 20L stainless steel vacuum cleaner from Bunnings Midland. This unit is fantastic picks up everything and is easy to move in the confined space. It makes short work of all the dirt and dust leaving a very clean surface behind. My roof space looks new again, and now the wiring can be inspected and made safe for another forty years. Thanks Ryobi.
I bought this vac primarily to remove rainwater from a concrete garage floor. It did this job well & has good suction. The good points:-- Great suction, powerful motor.- Not too noisy but certainly not quiet.- Nice design & great attractive stainless steel barrel- Seems quite rugged & should give long service if looked after properly. The not so good:-- Supposedly 20L capacity but only removes about 13L of liquid before it needs to be emptied.- Lack of accessories...only comes with flat bristle head which is fine for smooth surfaces but no good for carpet with any pile as it won't slide over carpet. Only other accessory is a crevice tool. It really needs an additional smooth (no bristle) flat head for carpets & a small flat upholstery head.- ... MoreI bought this vac primarily to remove rainwater from a concrete garage floor. Twist lock would be better like used at end of hose onto barrel & preferably an aluminium no bend tube instead of plastic.- Wet filter is quite flimsy so you need to be very careful when installing it.
Great vacuum for my shed tools, keeps wood dust down to a minimum. Handy size and light weight, and will eventually be paired with a turbo filter unit to separate dust and larger debris. Great suction.Great price. Highly recommend.
This vacuum cleaner really sucks! Literally. I didn't know my fully carpeted house was so full of dust and grit until I used this. I'd been struggling with an old cleaner until I gave up and bought this and so far it is 100 dollars well spent. It was easy to assemble.I knocked off one star on account of the loudness and because there is so much fragile plastic in the casing. Also, the hose pinches my hand when I am using it.As long as it works like it has been for a few more years, I will be satisfied.
I bought this 2 months ago and have used both the wet and dry functions. The electrical cord is too short, the vacuum head is too small. The machine does not have a filter and when started it blows dust and it smells. I keep getting sore wrists because of the poor design of the where you have to grip. The flexible hose is too short. The paper bags are easily replaced. and hold a fair amount of dust. The wet function works great but it is difficult to determine how much has been collected without stopping and opening the machine.
Purchased for $119 and is absolutely fantastic value for money. Been using it as a shop vac, as well as dust extractor for saws and routers for a few weeks now and it works brilliantly. I'm kind of shocked by how good it is actually. Nice big on/off button so you can waggle a bit of timber at it to switch it off. If I had one complaint, I wish the hose was a tad longer, but I can't really complain at this price point!
This is my initial impression after a week of ownership - will submit a long term review later. It's main use will be for thoroughly vacuuming the car, and it works very well for that, using the supplied crevice nozzle. The only other nozzle I may want to use occasionally would be a furniture nozzle, for the large boot.I am very happy with it's performance, especially for the money. It has very good suction - a bit stronger than my 1800W cyclonic vacuum, and a LOT stronger than a "water filter" based vacuum/carpet cleaner, which I will now be sellling - I will use this Ryobi for carpet extraction, and will find another method to apply the fluid to the carpet. The blower is strong enough for my small garage and apartment patios - this is the first time I've ever ... MoreThis is my initial impression after a week of ownership - will submit a long term review later. It's main use will be for thoroughly vacuuming the car, and it works very well for that, using the supplied crevice nozzle. (35mm fittings). The same goes for the aforementioned carpet cleaner - it's fittings are also 35mm, so I was able to test the Ryobi out for extraction immediately, using those fittings! :)This machine is very versatile - I wish I had bought something like this a long time ago.
