This is a great size generator to own.Very easy to operate.Great fuel economy.Very compact and easy to move. Not to noisy. We have a small rural property and have found this generator to be a great little work horse. We use it for runing pumps on the water tanks to operating electric tools up back shed were there no power.Looking to buy another one.Highly recommend.

Sine output is not very clean when viewed on the oscilloscope, it looks more like a sawtooth under no load and distorts under load, see photos. However it should be fine for running power tools, fridges and any other non-inverter controlled motors. Running more sensitive electronics would need a power conditioner, or an online UPS that converts the generator power to DC then back to AC again.Fairly noisy, but that's expected. Starts easily.

The generator has, so far, started first time every time. It settles down to a smooth beat and has powered a cement mixer for about five hours on two occasions and a front-loader washing machine through a one-hour cycle with no issues whatsoever. It’s a great unit and a good buy.

I brought this due to power cut we had for four days. I am very pleased with the performance. Cheap to run and ran a fridge freezer, and water pump, and laptop as well as charging phones. The first generator I have ever purchased. A great buy.
This is a great generator, but if you take it camping, you won't make many friends, as it is really loud. It is also large and heavy, so take that into consideration. I'm unable to lift it into the back of my 4x4 without using a small step ladder to gain height. On the flip side, it starts first try everytime. We had a six hour power outage when Ergon did general maintainence prior to the upcoming cyclone season. It ran two fridges, an Extra Large flat screen TV (including surround sound amplifier and speakers), an NBN router, a microwave, and a coffee maker all at the same time, and it still had room for more.It has a 15 litre fuel tank, so you're not fueling it up every couple of hours, and the 15 hp motor looks very solid. Don't forget to do the first oil change at the 20 hour mark, (the multimeter displays the engines runtime in hours) and I would suggest using Castrol fully synthetic titanium oil thereafter to keep wear and tear to a minimum and prolong the engines lifespan. Just enter the model number into Castrols website, and it will list the oils suggested for that engine. If I had my time over again, I would still get it, only because of the great reviews it gets, and also it's price. If you are after something more compact and quieter, look at the Fullboar generator also at Bunnings.
This product purchased specifically to run bore pump for household water but unfortunately, it will not.Motor rated at 1 KW start-up power but breakers trip whenever pump runs. Pump has been checked and there is no problem with it.
We have the previous model of this generator but it is in essence the same unit. We have used it for the last 2.5 years to top up our solar battery banks in winter ( 2kw system ) and it has been faultless. Our solar/grid input has a max rating of 240v @ 15A and this generator can meet that sort of load, at about 70% capacity. It can also run for about 10hrs on 1 tank at that draw load. Very impressed. It has developed a "memory" when you start it up and it just springs right to max chat, but I does not worry us.
We bought this 12 months ago as we live in a rural bushfire prone area. When the power went down for 2 days during the January bushfires our new jenny got us through. Nothing like having a hot shower after being out all day protecting your property! I have just got my sparky to wire up jenny to our house so I don't have to run leads next time the power goes down. I was running pumps, fridges, TV and lights no problem.
This generator starts easily and runs smoothly once it's settled down after starting. I've used it to power my cement mixer for a couple hours without it missing a beat. It also powered my front-load washing machine through a complete cycle, and it's very sensitive to unstable electricity supply. I'm very happy with this purchase.
We purchased this generator the day before the first flood in lismore just in case. As it happened we had no power for 9 days. It ran 2 fridges water pumps a stack of chargers with easy. A month later we broke it out for a second round, where it preformed well. Started first or second pull. This time it was only required for four days. The only downside was following the oil changes filling up the oil was difficult even with a funnel. It required tipping to one side with the assistance of a second person.Knowing we have this generator a blackout is no longer a major inconvenience where there is no power or water to the house.
