Brought this primarily for the brad nailer, but for an extra $10, the 2 in 1 ability with the stapler seemed a great bonus feature. However, when firing brads, pressurized air still escapes via the opening a staple would come out, literally indenting and permanently marking the work piece. Turning down the pressure is not a solution to this, as it just results in the nails not being driven in flush, so if you want flush nails, you get the pressure marks to go with it. I notice other reviews mention this, I wish I had seen them before purchasing. I have added a photo to clearly show the marks, so people can make a more informed purchase decision. Note, the brads with the marks beside them are from this 2 in 1 brad nailer. I returned the product to Bunnings and swapped it for the standard Ryobi Air Brad Nailer, which drove the nails that do not have marks in the photo, for comparison. In a nutshell, the 2 in 1 is a great idea, and if you dont mind the marks then its great value in one tool. However, for me and my use the marks are unacceptable and represent a design flaw of the product, hence 2 stars.

I bought this for a whole house of LVP underlayment. This was cheaper than hiring a stapler. I used it over a number of weekends to put in approx 18,000 staples. Not a single jam. Rarely a misfire (no staple discharged, but no jam). Comfortable, super easy to use.For this price, you really can't go wrong.

I brought this a week ago in order to complete a contract for the assembly of 700 bee hive boxes. Easily fired over 14000 32mm 18 gauge brads no issue at all. Didn't jam once and didn't start to slacken off on driving force throughout the entire project. Very very impressed for the price and don't write reviews often but is well worth it for the money.

I bought this a few weeks a go to build cupboards in my caravan rebuild. Have two other brad nailer/stapler that one did not work very well from new not Ryobi. The Ryobi Airware is a little beauty. Light, feels good in the hand, fires nails and staple with out missing one.
I purchased this for a particular project and can say it fits the bill perfectly for my needs. Worked out cheaper than hiring a brad nailer for a single day use. Instructions are clear and the nailer is easy to handle. Great for the odd job here or there.
Fires reliably and without fuss. However as others have commented, the driver pin is a bar (not a pin) - it's the width of the staples that it can fire, so when firing nails it leaves a leaves a depression mark in the wood alongside the nail. Less of an issue if you're going to be punching and filling the nailed area. But if it is going to be a problem for you then get a dedicated nailer (no stapling capability).Oh - and it definitely doesn't come with 500 each of nails and staples. Probably 50. But they're cheap to buy anyway.Otherwise, great value, uses very little air each firing.
The driver on this unit is the width of a staple, this is presumably fine for driving a staple. However, if driving a brad it leaves a rectangular mark across your lovely new timber surface. You can, with some adjusting, get it to not do this but then the brad is proud of the surface which means you have to punch it by hand. This defeats the purpose for using a brad driver! I would not recomend this unit if you want to do fine work
Bought as supplement to existing(other brand)brad nailer. Co fortable to handle. Plastic shroud around depression piece broke off after about 3 hours use. Almost impossible to set pressure to nil or near nil depression mark by gun. Suitable if operator does not object to marks left, or if magic can be worked to eliminate depression marks yet still drive brad head below wood surface.
The package states that 500 brad nails (20mm) and 500 staples (20mm) are included in the box. There were only 100 of each. The illustrated manual's depiction of loading brad nails is confusing. There is no included information on what type of oil is supposed to be used or where to apply it or where to obtain more. The small amount included won't last long if following the recommended daily dosage.
Very slim, light but powerful little tool. Capable to insert braid nails several sizes of staples with very little air volume (surprisingly firing ten times without triggering the compressor to start.) I am very happy with this little new little gadget...
