Needed to drill 8 x 12mm holes 80mm deep with a brand new bit, into a concrete slab.The hammer operation not up to the task. At least I have a reasonable back up drill for other materials, and another big battery.Now to go and buy a couple more 25mt extension leads for my old 240v hammer drill as the job is 100mts to a powerpoint.

For a beginner on the drill, this exceeded my expectations. So easy to set up and use. Finished my project in no time at all and now have a great drill for future projects. Love the Ryobi green as well.

Great compact drill that is easily manageable in one hand, even for small hands. Single-handed drilling is easy with this small but powerful drill. The settings are all within reach and easy to understand. The light is a nice bonus and illuminates the drilling area well. The drill, battery, and charger combination is great value because the 4.0Ah Battery and Charger Combo Kit is the same price but without the drill. So you are basically getting the drill at no extra cost with this package!

My Bosch cordless drill driver stopped working (after 12 years) so I needed a replacement. The value of the battery interchangeability and robust construction with a good Warranty made the RYOBI my choice. Of course having numerous other 18v battery devices made the decision easier.
This hammer drill advertises that it is able to drill through hard materials including brick but failed to do so on our brick walls. Do not recommend. We ended up purchasing the ozito 1500w rotary hammer drill and worked amazing!
This bundle really hit the spot. My previous drill (not Ryobi) died so I was on the look out for a new one. I already have a Ryobi line trimmer so I thought I would see what was in the range that might accompany the snipper. I was looking at the lower end but when I saw that this kit came with the bigger battery it was a no-brainer. So far it has performed extremely well. Very comfortable in the hand, easy to use and carry. I look forward to the jobs that allow me to use it. No regrets.
Drill is surprisingly powerful for its size and 6 year warranty is outstanding.Charger is a charger so...Battery purchased to use with chainsaw and gives a ton of time even on the chainsaw.I have standardised my tools on Ryobi due to warranty, price, and durability.

I recently had to replace my hammer drill under warranty conditions due to an unforeseen drill chuck issue. The return warranty process was absolutely seamless and is a testament to Ryobi in honouring their word when things do go unusually wrong. Worst drill Ive ever used, can't even drill screws into preexisting holes in wood, let alone masonry.I'm better off using a screwdriver which is incredibly disappointing as I bought it intentionally to use on masonry.Drops drill bits as well. Such a shame because I have heaps of the One+ range, including a normal drill, and now I will question ever buying another one of their products if the quality has dropped so much
