Small but powerful unit that does what is says on the box. Don’t forget to oil the unit as it does not have auto oil function, though it is subsequently less of a mess to store

I recently purchased my latest Ryobi product, an 18V One plus, pruning saw (with a chain saw mechanism). It is the latest purchase of at least 10 Ryobi Garden and shed Tools, in this cordless range, over the last 5 years. As per previous purchases from Ryobi, I absolutely LOOOOOVVVVVE my new tool. After using it for the first time, I found it extremely efficient, effective, fairly quiet and easy to use on medium sized bush branches. I highly recommend this product to other gardeners. It was reasonably priced and the extended Warranty too was an added bonus ( when registering it on line). Thanks again Ryobi. Again a very Satisfied Customer.

Great tool for dealing with our many trees. There is always a need to shape our trees and this tool makes light work of it.
I bought this on special for a ridiculously low price and am really pleased with it's performance so far. I'm still learning and I've only used it a couple of times, but it has been easy to operate and cuts through branches with ease. I love that it comes with it's own case for storage too!
The saw works a treat. Got it home charged it up and trimmed the bushes around the pool fence
This saw fits in the handle well and does a great job. Only problem is that you have to manually add oil.
I bought this saw last Thursday. I took it out of the case this morning excited to use it. I purchased it so I did not have to use the hand saw anymore. I oiled the chain and tried to use it. It would not cut and I could not work out why. It came already set up for use. A kind neighbor saw me trying to use it and asked why it was not cutting. She decided to take it home with her and have a look at one similar that she had. It turns out the chain was on back to front. Luckily for me she was able to turn the chain around and hey presto it now works fine. Without her help I would have had to take it back to the store, hang around until someone worked it out.This may be an unusual incident but I just wanted to let you know.
Handy little saw great for one.handed use easily cuts threw branches, you can get into tight places with ease, the ease of chain adjustment is good.
Super special on this, I have an old mini chainsaw that you see for sale on EBay all the time, this walks all over it.It seems to cut just as well as my Ryobi 18v full sized chainsaw and is so handy for those jobs where a larger saw is just too cumbersome.Highly recomended. Did I say it also comes in an awesome hardcase?
