It may be smaller in size than your standard drill/driver but this RYOBI ONE+ HP Brushless Compact Drill Driver packs a real punch, and is compatible with a regular 18V ONE+ battery. It’s compact size and lightweight design are great when accessing tight spaces and working overhead or outstretched. The 18V brushless motor delivers up to 54Nm of torque and the 2-speed gearbox provides great control when switching between drilling and driving. The low speed has a maximum of 450RPM, while the high speed has a maximum of 1700RPM. Use the clutch to adjust torque to the right amount to avoid damage to the material you’re working with or the screw head.

For it compact size, and relative lighter weight, this drill does the job as good as full size drills. Ryobi has also stepped-up the overall quality which, while well overdue, makes this drill a good choice for handymen

You would think that such a small unit wouldn't have enough power to deliver good results, and you would be wrong. This HP mini is a beast, plenty of power and all in a very light weight shell. You will find yourself reaching for this over the bigger drills because of its weight, grip and power.
Good for drilling or screwing in small spaces , not a complicated tool
Bought this for my son's bday gift, and after using it for a few days doing some project at his car, he told me that the drill is so convenient to use.
Great drill - I use it day in, day out. Batteries are fine after 3+ years (frequent DIY use, which is what Ryobi's are designed for). I guess if you already have a Ryobi battery, you're going to keep on buying Ryobi tools!
Plenty of grunt for both the handyman and professional
I bought one of these and it never worked properly (couldn't change between 1 and 2 power), took it back and exchanged, next one had motor issues. Full credit to Bunnings for exchanging both times, latest one is a hammer drill and no issues so far. Clearly Ryobi do zero quality control.
