Ryobi R18GLU-0 Cordless Glue Gun Hardware/Electronic

I bought this tool on special offer so it was very good value. It worked really well with a good amount of glue being put onto the work. However, the mechanism that pushes the glue stick through the tool to feed the hot end does not allow the glue stick to be pushed through fully. It stops short when the stick is only partly used, so you can not use the full stick unless you put in another new stock to push it through. Other than this limitation, it bc works really well. is easy to use and heats up very quickly for use. I bought some Loctite sticks which I feel are much more useable (and stronger adhesive). A good and useful tool

Cordless hot glue gun

I bought this glue gun a month ago, it is an awesome tool. I like the the on/off switch this tool has so you do not run down the battery. Most corded glue guns do not have a switch. The trigger action is smooth and responsive. Glue drip is minimal. The negatives about this tool:1) Lack different nozzles for other application are not included in the box.2) I think this this tool (all Ryobi tools for the Australia market) is overpriced.

Great Hot Glue gun

Needed a glue gun quickly to help keep some light electrical wires separated at the back of a plug. As I have many Ryobi 18 and 36v tools this was the logical choice and worked perfectly. I've since used it for other jobs that I wouldn't have thought of now that I have it available on the shelf.

Great example of a portable glue gun

I moved from an old corded Glue gun to the new 18v Ryobi model and am happy with the switch, the new 18v one has a faster heat up time, only 2-3 mins instead of the old corded one, I had to go away and do some thing else while I waited for that one to heat, now I can turn this one on and in a matter of literal minutes, it's ready to go. Not much mess from over dripping as you can turn it off and on as you need, nice and light with a 2AH battery and comfortable to hold too! all around great glue gun whether you're considering corded or cordless, this still wins.

Great for odd jobs around the house

I bought this to repair some Christmas decorations. Since purchasing it I have used it for repairing a dining table and for other odd jobs around the house. It heats up quickly and efficiently. Recommend a smaller battery though if you’re hand holding. Accepts 11mm and 12mm glue sticks

Great portable glue gun.

Great portable glue gun. Heats up quickly and convenient without the addition of a cord. Just make sure that the gun is hot enough before using the trigger. Do not force the trigger as found mine to be a little flimsy and it broke.

Stuck on you ! Brilliant

I was out bush and as i was driving along i heard this flapping radio type interferance. was so annoying. I stopped and found it was the inside front wheel arch mud trim. 5mins with the glue gun and all stuck together and no noise. Brilliant !

Super handy piece of gear

This is my latest Ryobi One+ acquisition and I’mdelighted with it. My previous experience with glue guns was with cheap corded models that fell over every time you put them down, and had a poor flow control. My Ryobi heats up quickly enough, and delivers the glue right where I need it. I did three jobs first time out, flying plywood, carpet and nylon strapping. Each task was quick, easy and effective. The glue is strong and the tool was easy to handle. Full marks from me.

You can use it ANYWHERE!!

I'm loving the ecosystem of tools and batteries that Ryobi has.A real world example is my wife's brother died in a truck accident on the Hume Freeway with the nearest town 20km away. This battery operated hot glue gun helped us put up a tribute and cross with no power nearby.I keep it in the car in case it is ever needed. Two thumbs up.
