I ordered this protein at around the mid - end of June. When I first tried it, I already knew I wasn’t going to finish the container. The taste is very sweet, too sweet for me. I love chocolate and I especially love all things cookies and cream so I was like, close enough. However, even when I smelled the jug for the first time after opening I just knew it was way too sweet. Kachava and fair life are my top protein choices. However, Kachava is meant to be used as something to fill you more than a protein shake so that’s the whole reason I bought this. I still haven’t finished the jug and I likely won’t. I really hate how sweet this is, and I probably should have returned it. However, if you like really sweet chocolates then go figure.

I was all about the RYSE hype with Noel and Davis Diley being my two favorite fitness influencers… I can see how some people can enjoy this, but it’s kind of like Propel. You can taste the sucralose (zero calorie sugar) linger in your mouth, giving it this very artificial taste. It’s VERY easy to get down because of the smoothness and mix-ability, but I’d steer you away to try something else. The protein and value is there, but I can’t recommend this flavor. They say that you can’t taste without smell, so I know smell impacts the taste in some kind of way. As soon as I opened up the container, it smelled… stinky. Not rancid, but like food that had gone bad… Almost like bad milk by about two weeks to say the least.TL;DR: It smells kind of weird, and the taste is not very accurate or enjoyable (it is tolerable). But it is smooth and mixes well.

Overall I enjoy this protein powder. The price is hard to beat and when mixed, it breaks down relatively well. It has a flavor that accurately emulates what is described. My only issue is how sweet this particular flavor is. I expected it to be sweet, but this is significantly stronger than anticipated. It tastes like I'm drinking pure sugar. As a result, his flavor may be one I use specifically for mixing into certain desserts or other recipes. It might be too sweet to drink on its own. Otherwise, it is a satisfactory product and I'm interested in trying their other flavors.

Great taste, so far Ryse has the best tasting brand flavors (if you like peanut butter try the Skippy's one). I like to mix this with pancakes, oatmeal, and greek yogurt which I would normally do with other proteins but this actually taste like a fruity strawberry sweet and barely the protein flavor. I made my sister try it and she said it was too sweet for her but was surpirsed it was a protien, defnitely a fan of this brand now. Looking forward to trying the other flavors
Heres the thing, this stuff is good, well priced, high quality, protein. However, protein is not good tasting no matter what brand you get. It one of those thing that after while youll hate but u gotta take it for the boosted gains. Besides the taste being kinda strong its and overall great powder from a overall amazing brand. (my recommendation is use the stack option to get a free shaker and then get this protien with a pre workout or creatine (dont combine pre and creatine at once) and by the way red ring pop loaded pre with sprite is an amazing combo.) 9/10 would recommend
I am a 30-year-old who has not been active in the gym for a long time. The biggest issue for me is that recovery has always been horrifically painful for me, even with proper stretching beforehand. These little powders have completely removed this problem from my life. I can go as hard as I want, within reason, and after I take my shower, I take a serving of this powder, and I ALWAYS wake up the next day with little to no pain at all. If I knew that all it took was some powder to avoid the worst part of working out for me then I probably would have never stopped going to the gym initially. Oh, and it tastes good too. 5/5, call your mom and thank her for giving birth to you.
I was a little worried after reading other reviews but figured I would give it a go. I put frozen bananas and strawberries (Walmart sell a frozen mix bag), chocolate almond milk, original almond milk, and two scoops of the protein powder in a blender. It tastes like a chocolate marshmallow explosion. My kids were mad that I switched up the protein powder until they smelled it! It is very sweet so if you like more of a bland flavor pick something else. But... if you are looking for sweet, marshmallowey, creamy goodness then just grab it already.
The one thing i dread is the taste of most protein powder shakes. Some have a very strong “medicinal” taste while others just taste bad. Makes me want to puke.I was already using Ryse Godzilla pre-workout before and loved it. So after watching several reviews of Loaded protein from Noel Deyzel, I decided to try it.Let me tell all of you how amazing this product tastes! I’m so impressed with the taste. Love mixing this with some high protein milk. It tastes amazing and still has great macros. The cinnamon flavor has huge upside for being used in baked protein goods or protein pancakes.My one complaint is the price.
