I bought this to sweep up pet hair and bits of cat litter, as my vacuum cleaner gets blocked by them. This product does sweep up those things, but it has some serious drawbacks when in use. It's VERY light, which means that you have to keep a lot of downward pressure through the handle, and the handle is a problem. Not only does it keep coming unscrewed, but if you're above average height, you'll be pushing down on the handle instead of being able to grip it, and the handle digs in to the palm of your hand and is uncomfortable after a short while. So yes, it's great for a quick clean up - or encouraging the kids to clean the carpet - but it's nowhere near the build quality of something like a vintage Ewbank sweeper.

Had this 1 month now. Works great on the caravan carpet. Better than expected. Easy to empty, sometimes you gotta rip hair off the brush but that's typical for any carpet brush. Well worth it for the price.

Owned for about 6 months, works great on our carpet and good for the in-between vacuums. But had the join from the handle to the base snap from just regular use. Seems like the weak point that needs extra reinforcement. Will try get it replaced because if it didn't break I'd say it's worth it for carpet anyway.

The unit slides over carpet on return stroke if a reasonable amount of pressure is not applied. Small non rotating brushes at front and rear collect hair which is difficult to remove. Cogs that drive Brush do not mate very well. "Length of handle" I would guess will only be comfortable for someone 5" or shorter. It does do a reasonable job if firm downward pressure applied when using. I have doubts that it will last a long time. I will not purchase this product again.
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!! For someone with dark carpets, this carpet sweeper is a life saver! I am a professional cleaner, so coming home and lugging my industrial vac inside to vacuum my own carpets is the last thing I want to be doing. I can honestly say this picks up everything in my carpets far better than my expensive work vacuum - mind blown. Absolute sorcery!!!
I've had it for a few weeks now and could not be happier. It picks up ALL the kitty litter (wood shavings) from 3 cats except the stuff in the very edges, which is to be expected AND the cats fur! Super easy to empty. Easier for me, a chronic pain sufferer, to use than any vacuum cleaner. Never need to worry about chords or battery running out. No need for unclogging multiple parts. So simple. Easy to assemble too. Delivery was quick too...even in stage 4 lockdown!
I really love my Sabco carpet sweeper. It cleans up the mess I make quickly with little effort. I empty it outside in the green bin and brush the bristles clear after a few goes. Bought one for a friend whos vaccumme broke. She loves it for small quick cleanups. My vaccumme has been not used since I bought this. So good.
Even though the service of click and collect was good . Im disapointed ive had to buy a third sabco carpet sweeper as they tend to break easy so therefore ive had to replace another one. They do a good job of cleaning the carpet and its not electrical so i dont have to worry about any cords. Sabco need to come up with a different way of manufacturing this item so that the handle doesnt snap off the bass so easily.
what a joy! Long soft cat hair picked up fast and easy after months of stick vacuum and regular heavy vacuum application failed. So easy to empty. If your cat's long hair has accumulated, it will be necessary to pick off the tightly wound hair around the 2 small rollers. Takes 3 minutes, and ready to sweep again. I will give this sweeper as a Christmas present to fellow cat owner.
I havent been well and got the sweeper so I wasnt pulling around a heavy vacum cleaner. It works real good, light and easier to push. The little comb attachment cleans the rollers really well. I recomend this sweeper.
