I have bought two of these machines in the last month, one for my daughter in law and one for myself to complement my Barista Oro. I can honestly say that I am in love with this machine, as is my daughter in law with hers. I love the versality of the different types of coffee, the ease of making coffee shop standard drinks and my husband particularly likes the hot water feature to make his hot lemon drinks! Thank you Sage.

I bought this to replace my 20yr old magimix nespresso machine. I am delighted with the creatista tro. So fast, easy to add extra shots and milk is prepared at the same time as coffee. Lovely looking brushed metal casing and very easy touch screen menu. Lots of options and you can change volume of coffee, temperature and froth level of milk.

I've had this coffee machine for a number of weeks now and I'm very happy with it. It looks good on the worktop and takes less apce than the previous one.I'm still trying out different coffee flavours and have found some I quite like. The milk frother works very well and I love that feature, as my drink of choice is a latte (my wife prefers lungo). So far I haven't had the problem reported by some others of the holes in the milk frother getting blocked, but then it is only used once a day.

It's working well, this far. Nespresso pods work best, Starbucks second best (a tiniest first release of water prior to the coffee), any other pods push out a lot of water prior to the coffee. I'm experimenting with the steam wand all the time. I can get a decent enough froth for the various milk drinks, but unlike the steam wand on the Bambino Plus which can be used manually, this one can't be (unless you remove the drip tray completely, use the wand at an almost vertical angle and wonder whether all this will upset any internal settings - this being why I've never tried it, despite several YT videos advocating it's practice). Therefore, I haven't, as yet, created the right foam for Latte Art. The machine is sturdy but the chrome plastic front parts should have ... MoreIt's working well, this far. The machine is sturdy but the chrome plastic front parts should have been stainless steel, especially considering the price (and, kicking myself, I found it much cheaper through Amazon/Nespresso!!!). And that, this far, is it. Hopefully I'll find a way to do Latte Art and hopefully the machine lasts a long time to justify the hefty price tag.
I bought this machine directly from Sage at a good price and they delivered it very quickly. Easy to use the machine and also to program the amount of coffee and water required to our individual tastes. The milk frothing however is a work in progress. We cannot get it to froth without making the coffee watery in taste when making a cappuccino. We continue to use the milk frother attached to our four year old Krups Nespresso which now leaks if we use it for coffee making. So at the moment we have two machines side by side. One for coffee and the other for milk. Not ideal but I'm sure if I go through another 3 or 4 litres of Cravendale and lots of coffee pods, I will finally get a decent cup of cappuccino using the steamer rod for my long suffering missus. We bought the Black Creatista Pro. The drip tray assembly rocks, cheapening the overall impact of an expensive machine. A replacement machine and two drip dray assemblies suggest that this is a design/manufacturing fault. Rather than resolve the issue, Sage has given up and offered us a full refund. £700 and Sage cannot produce a fault-free drip tray. We have heavily invested in Nespresso pods and are truly angry at being left high and dry!
If you drink your coffee black, this may be an ok machine for you. If you prefer milky coffee stay away from this and other creatista machines. If you are lucky, you may get acceptable froth for a few weeks after which you end up with warm milk. No froth, just flat. Cleaning, descaling, changing settings, etc, does not do anything. It seems that the pressure drops, hence the poor end result. I have gone through 4 different Creatista machines ( I know I am mad, or just optimistic), and now I have definitely given up on Sage. Sorry to be brutal. I was willing them to work. They look nice, but they just do not work due to the poor design of the milk frother.
Product looks great, works perfectly and, as someone who has been using various Nespresso coffee machines continuously for the last 15+ years, offers a more tailored coffee experience than any other Nespresso machine I have ever owned. I love that it offers me the facility to store endless "favourite" drinks to exact preferences with precise control over volumes of water and coffee delivered and the temperature/texture of milk ingredients. We purchased our machine via a Nespresso subscription - the volume of coffee we consume as a household meaning we effectively got the machine for free - and this brings me to my only criticism of this product. I would struggle to justify paying £650.00 for a "pod" based coffee machine other than via the subscription. I would struggle to justify paying £650.00 for a "pod" based coffee machine other than via the subscription. We regularly spend £90.00+ a month on Nespresso pods so committing to spend £70.00 a month via a subscription means the only true cost of the machine to me is the initial £1.00 Nespresso charge when opening the subscription. For this I get the best coffee machine (not just pod based machines either) I have ever owned. I would recommend this machine to everyone based on both aesthetics and functionality if they consume enough coffee to justify a subscription or if they are happy to justify the cost simply to have the best.
I have have been looking online and social media for information on Nespresso coffee machines.I have lots of Sage products in my kitchen, I have the Combi Wave 3 in 1 Microwave, the Smart Toast 4-Slice Toaster, and the Smart Kettle, and I wanted a machine to make nice coffee, so obviously I looked at what Sage had to offer. My Brother has the Oracle Touch bean to cup machine, which he absolutely loves, as it’s a fantastic machine, which is easy to use, it’s clever and beautiful, with all the features you could want, the ability to make any type of coffee quickly and easily.I would have bought one, except for the fact it’s not a quick task to change the type or blend of coffee beans, it’s perfect if you are happy to stick with one type of bean, but I like to try ... MoreI have have been looking online and social media for information on Nespresso coffee machines.I have lots of Sage products in my kitchen, I have the Combi Wave 3 in 1 Microwave, the Smart Toast 4-Slice Toaster, and the Smart Kettle, and I wanted a machine to make nice coffee, so obviously I looked at what Sage had to offer. My Brother has the Oracle Touch bean to cup machine, which he absolutely loves, as it’s a fantastic machine, which is easy to use, it’s clever and beautiful, with all the features you could want, the ability to make any type of coffee quickly and easily.I would have bought one, except for the fact it’s not a quick task to change the type or blend of coffee beans, it’s perfect if you are happy to stick with one type of bean, but I like to try different blends and flavours of coffee, and don’t stick to just one. This is where the Sage Creatista Pro Nespresso machine comes into my criteria.I bought one without hesitation, as it does everything that the Oracle Touch does, only easier and quicker.Nespresso offer a vast choice of coffee capsules, with flavours, strengths and blends to suit everyone, there are also compatible capsules available at your local supermarket or online.I strongly recommend the Creatista Pro, to anyone who enjoys nice coffee, it’s easy to use, custom coffee programs can be stored on the machine, meaning you can Taylor the coffee to how you like it, maybe a bit more water, or extra foam on the milk etc.You won’t be disappointed if you buy a Sage Creatista Pro!The picture if of all of my Sage products :-)
This is my second Creatista Pro - I bought one for home pre-COVID and it's still going strong, so I treated myself and got another for my office at work. Extremely easy and intuitive to operate, a choice of just about any coffee type pre-configured, each of which allows you to 'tweak' settings like pour and temperature AND the ability to programme your own. My GF is VERY particular about her latte/cappuccino (Starbucks only normally), but she actually prefers Nespresso via Creatista Pro now.Superb machine and well worth the premium over the other dozen or so Nespresso capsule machines I've been through over the years.
