Salicylic Acid Body Wash - The Perfector by Naturium

My Experience: This body wash has a gel like texture with a mild lather. It took quite a few uses to find a good way for it to lather to my liking. I usually wash my body with a cloth in the shower but with this body wash it takes quite few pumps to get a nice lather. Using a cloth takes up so much product so instead I use a loofah to get it a bit more foamy. After I rinse and dry; my skin surprisingly didn’t feel dry or tight like most acne body washes do. My skin felt soft and smooth. I bought this because I have bad body acne with Keratosis Polaris on top of that. My skin reacts negatively to a lot of actives so this being an encapsulated salicylic acid was really nice for my sensitive skin. And this is Fragrance free so that’s a plus. I bought this at Target for $14 so its super affordable. You get 16.9 Fl oz per bottle so you get a lot for your money. It lasts for about a month if you use it daily. Tip: If you really want great results with Kp I prefer to use this with exfoliating gloves 2x a weak

Best body wash ever. Never buying another

Ok, so ive never ever written a ulta / product review. There is a huge reason why i am right now and why you should 1000% trust me. When i say this is the best body wash ive ever used, it is. My legs used to look sooo ashy (my bf white used to make fun of me a lot and im brown so u can really see it) when i walk out the shower. My legs look like they are more moisturized then lotion and soooo shiny. The pump is rlly slow idk why but it does wonders. I haven't experienced in changes as my bug bites darkness goes lol but it does make my skin even and hydrated in that sense but not making any scars go away. Body wash is it worth it

I love a good body wash and I thought for the size and price this would be great.Been using it since purchased 13th April can not see any different at all furthermore it does not really lather up and the texture is quite thick so I struggle to get it out of the pump - not sure if my bottle is broken or pump not working but it's rather annoying when in the shower.There is no smell and it has made zero different to my skin which is disappointing - no difference in appearance or how my skin feels. In all honestly with the product hard to come out of the pump it's making me not want to use it. Not ideal when it's 6am and just want oh shower!It is worth it you ask - well for the price

Does exactly as it says on the tin

I previously struggled with bacne, after doing so much sport. I bought this hoping that it would give me fresh, clear, supple skin, and clear out my bacne. And it has delivered on all fronts, reducing breakouts after only 3 weeks of using. I look forward to discovering whether my scars will disappear, but I’m hopeful due to the exfoliating effects of the body wash. I have to say though, it is best layered with another body wash as it doesn’t have a smell, but overall really nice lather, with a nice clear brightening effect on my skin. I also suffer with strawberry legs 9n the back of my calf’s, and this has been reduced with this wash too. Thoroughly recommend…

Feels great on the skin

I don’t know if it does anything for acne. I know it doesn’t make things worse. This product feels really soft on the skin. I was impressed. This is probably because of the glycerin. I like fragrance in my products, but this one doesn’t have a smell. The bottle is really big and I think it’s reasonably priced for that amount. This is my first product from naturium and I will definitely buy their other shower gels to try after this.Curious to try their skin care too.

Love this body wash

I love this body wash. It's really thick and I usually use it on the more bumpy areas (KP) on my body - upper arms, butt.This product is great for KP with smoothing. With it being more on the thick side, it's great because if you put it on areas that need extra attention, you can lather it over and it somewhat stays on like a gel mask (if you're not directly in the water stream in those areas). I usually then shampoo/condition/wash face etc before washing the body wash off properly. You will need to use this regularly and consistently for the best result with eliminating KP.Highly recommend!

Needs improvement

Overall, this product has been a miss for me. It’s a bit frustrating because the pump gets stuck so I manually have to pull it up and push back down. It also doesn’t really lather (as stated on the bottle), and because that I have to use more product and a second body wash or else it would be finished in less than a month. To be honest, I can’t really tell how this product has affected my skin because I use about 3 different exfoliants other than it. That’s not a bad thing and doesn’t affect my review, but it’s important context. I’m going to try the glycolic acid version and see if that’s any better; if it’s not, I could comfortably say that I don’t recommend Naturium washes. Really helped with my KP!

I have gone through two of these bottles now! They're great! It had significantly helped the KP on my arms and back of my legs and they're not so dry anymore! I love! I do see a lot of reviews mentioning smell and lather though. They're right, there is limited lather, so if you like lather, I'd opt out. The amount of lather doesn't bother me though because I can still feel where it's at. And it is advertised fragrance free meaning the smell you get is the ingredients that are in it so if you're looking for bath and body works or victoria's secret type of smells, you're setting yourself up for failure. I myself mix it with my usual body wash I've used for years because I do enjoy the smell of my wash but I love the effects of this body wash. THE BEST!

This product is my holy grail!! I get really bad irriation bumps from shaving and unusual dryness after, and this wash has completely smoothed my skin - and I saw insane improvements in just a couple of washes!! Normally my armpits break out/are discolored due to shaving/deoderant and now they are smooth and clear - im no longer embarssed to wear a tank top - my roomates all use this product as well and we're constanly running out because we love love it! I recc. using it with an exfoilating scrub brush!! It's a bit hard to pump out the bottle at times but that is so minor compared to how amazing this producf is!
