Much better made, a roomy zipped compartment at the back, key clip, two webbed pouches, two diagonal elastic straps, I haven’t worked out all the configurations yet. Comfortable on the go, no key rattle, it’s taken everything I need from an 8” church key ( unusual I admit!) to hydration bottle, dog bags and treats, lead, phone, baler twine and knife. A bit of an insight into life of a running farmer 👨🌾

Ive done several runs with this and I love it. The zippered pocket is a good size and very easy to use. I was able to fit a 600ml sot bottle! The front storage holds my phone and I can fit plenty of gels in the side pockets for at least a 3-4 hour run. The pole straps in the back are awesome. Worn the right way, this will not bounce very much with a full water bottle, poles, nutrition and phone. I'm a size 32/33 waist and the medium fits nice and snug when empty and feels secure when full. It did bounce a bit on my descents but anything and everything will bounce on a descent steep and fast enough. I wear it just above my shorts so my navel is positioned in the middle between the top and bottom hem. So nice I got two colors!

Despite some interesting ideas (mounting for poles below the oxygen pocket, etc., the belt is a total disappointment because of the front pocket, one on the belly. The idea that it holds a 500ml flask is complete nonsense. Easy access = easy falling out. Even a light run on a flat surface, few steps and immediately the flask starts popping out.... not to say that it flops / bounces around.... you know what ... Only when around half full flask holds in it's place. Tested with 4 diffrent softflask (2 ffrom Salomon).Seriously, someone who invented this crap as punishment should run with it for the rest of his life with no option for replacement.

This is a great belt for shorter runs of around 1 hour or so. I take my keys, phone, hat, gloves, 250ml soft flask, a gel & a flap jack & there's still plenty of room.Don't order your jean size. Get a tape measure & size it properly, then you won't be disappointed. I ended up trying M, L, XL & settled on L which fits great (I'm 32" waist in Levis)IMO, this isn't made for long days out with 500ml flasks. If you need that much water get 2 x 250ml instead. Too much weight on the back will produce a bit of motion bounce as the belt is elasticated & that's how gravity works. Yes, it does bunch up when empty, again as it's elasticated.Lastly IMO, If you're out for 1-2 hours, invest in a 5L vest or get both for an even longer run.
I really liked the size of this belt, it's super tall allowing for more things to be stored away than other belts on the market. Unfortunately, there were a few things that leave me questioning if I should return it.First some of the pros: It has a really good zipped pocket that can be easily reached, the two pockets make it really easy to store gear, it doesn't bunch up, and maybe most importantly its comfortable and you forget you're wearing it.Cons: It bounces, it doesn't bounce a ton, but with a 500ml flask you really feel it those first few strides before you get into a rhythm, and the one that seems to get me is the elastic is almost too good, making it hard to reach into the back pocket in stride. Im constantly fumbling around trying to open the back ... MoreI really liked the size of this belt, it's super tall allowing for more things to be stored away than other belts on the market. Im constantly fumbling around trying to open the back because the angle is really long making it weird to hold onto. (oh an it doesn't have a race bib holder, at this price I would expect that)Long story short, I'm holding onto it, but just purchased another brand to compare before deciding if I'm going to keep it or return it. Still a really good belt, just maybe not exactly what I was hoping for
First of all, I have to say that I absolutely loved this belt while it lasted. I think I only took it in like 5 or so runs. Finally on my last run, the zipper for the back pocket broke! I can’t quite tell, either the stitching came undone and now it doesn’t zip, or one of the teeth broke. Either way, the rear pocket doesn’t close fully all the way now.
I’ve been a fan of running belts for a while now. I find the vests are too warm in the summer months and for that reason I aimed to do most runs with belts if I thought I could get away with only bringing one 500ml flask with me. The ADV SKIN belt significantly improved on the layout of the pockets and the overall fit of the belt. So much so that I can now carry 2 flasks in it, essentially allowing it to replace my running vest on most of my runs. I’m really looking forward to this summer’s runs knowing that I’ll be significantly less encumbered and couler along the way.
I bought this belt as Salomon's great innovative approach to their products. I really liked the idea of a big, back pocket where you can put your jacket in, and still the possibility to use trekking poles. I'd give a 5-star review because of the design and functionality. Unfortunately, the belt's quality is really bad. It simply stretches. The belt stretched to the point that running downhill it went down under my butt with just trekking poles attached. It happened after a month of using it and the sizing was correct because size smaller was so tight that I could feel fabrics ripping while I was trying to put the belt on in the store. Overall disapointed, belt is useless now.
I had a couple of Flipbelts for carrying my phone and the odd gel if needed .I started using the Sense pro belt as the Flipbits tend to sag a bit when sweaty .Bought the Advanced skin as a spare as I was interested in the difference .It is a more thorough and capable belt . The depth / width makes a lot of positive difference . The fact it has a zip compartment is a real asset too .I use the Sense belt more regularly as an everyday belt for minimum carrying and would prefer it for half or marathon distance as it fits nicer and it can cope with the few things needed on such occasions ..The Advance skin would be my go to belt for ultra events . There is far more capacity and it will happily allow you to stuff it full so you can take the burden off your vest ... Great product. You do have to try it on at the shop to check the size. It doesn’t work if you get your size wrong. When you put 500ml salmon soft bottle inside, it does unfortunately bounce but stop bouncing when the contents is reduced to half (about 250ml). I still like this belt as it allows me to carry 500ml water bottle, light jackets, gels and my I phone 11.
