The Mud Contagrip sole uses deep, pointed 5 mm lugs designed to provide high levels of grip on loose, soft, rugged and uneven terrain. The EnergyCell + midsole offers high energy return, cushioning and durability. The cushioning is soft and protective, foot support is neutral and the level of protection is high. The upper combines synthetic material and fabric, with close-fitting debris-resistant mesh and Ripstop fabric reinforced against rips, tears and abrasion. The quickLACE system uses a minimalist, robust lace with one-pull adjustment to make the shoe easy to put on and take off. The footbed and lining are fabric, while the sole is rubber. Salomon Speedcross 6 have a stack height of 22 mm at the forefoot and 32 mm at the heel, with a heel-to-toe drop of 10 mm.
