These are hands down my favorite trail shoes! Incredible support and super comfortable! Also I vastly prefer the tie laces to the other ones. Wish they had them in blue but they will be mud colored soon so no biggie. Absolutely love these.

The shoes looked just like they did in the photo. No break in period. I have a wide toe box,but not a wide foot. They are very comfortable and provide just the amount of t of support that I wanted for an everyday shoe. I just bought my husband a pair also. We both have out Salomon hiking boots also.

I’ve been endearing Salomon shoes for years. They are used daily for dog walks in rain or shine. The waterproofing is necessary and effective. I do miss the quick tie option in this particular pair and I think the arch support is a little less than previous (but I have really high arches) Salomon’s but I still love them, am glad I got them, and will buy more in the future.
First time getting a Salomon hiking shoe. I find that it runs large; I ended up getting a half size smaller. It’s very comfortable for day hikes and I like that the toes box is slightly larger than most hiking shoe. Overall pretty good hiking shoe.
I bought these to replace old X Ultra 4s that finally gave up the ghost. I was not sure about the move from Goretex to the new waterproofing. But I have no complaints. If buying them, go by the European sizing, not the US sizing. The US sizing for women is skewed but the European sizing is accurate. Women’s 8.5 US is Euro 40 2/3 for example.
I have only ever work Salomon walking boots for years and treated myself to walking shoes. They are comfortable, keep your feet dry, lightweight, no hot spots at all straight out of the box. Really like them.
I bought these shoes looking for the perfect summer shoe. I really like them and will purchase again if I wear these out. Have already tested waterproof, stepped in puddle accidently and they kept my foot completely dry. Very comfortable with good arch support.
These shoes are perfect for our winters in Alberta. We often get ice building up under the snow. These have excellent tread. I would also wear these shoes in the summer on a cooler damp day as they are waterproof.
I love Salomon shoes but now, dont know Why they are made wider then before ?I always buy the same size, but now they are too wide. My feet coming out, when i walk, even though i attached drawcords thigh. I bought those shoes but dont feel it would be safe to go hiking with them. And for that reason, I will not buy Salomon shoes online anymore. At least, their should be a note, on your website, that theses shoes fits Wider, so customers dont get trap too...
