I bought these shoes for my son. He loves them and says they're very comfortable. He wears mostly 10.5 in shoes and 11 in tennis shoes. I bought him the 10.5 and they fit very well. He thinks the 11's would have been too loose.The customer service from Patriot Outfitters was fantastic —I had to call to ask severeal questions and they were extremely helpful. The delivery was very fast too.

These boots are really good. They look great, only took a few days to break in, and they are very comfortable once they are broken in. The only complaint I had was that the quick pace system wasn’t very comfortable. It seemed that it was either extremely tight or extremely loose, no in between. So I cut those laces off and put some regular boot laces on and that solved the issue. Very good boots overall

This is my first pair of Solomons. They are fantastic! Extremely comfortable with lots of support and shoe agility. I was using Red Wings for range days and they were too heavy and clunky. These boots are perfect for any activity, especially when you need to move athletically, as well as, stand for long periods of time. It is always hard to find a shoe/boot that you can move around like an athlete and also has the support and comfort for standing long periods of time. It is a great buy and well worth the investment!

I wanted size 14 WIDE shoes and hiking boots. Salomon was the only supplier short of custom-made footwear. Features I like: Gore-Tex water and wear resistant; thick tread, lasts a long time; Quicklace, is easy to snug and loosen; I particularly like the recent improvement of Quicklace ending at the tongue rather than the sides of the boot; When they didn't have my size in stock, they let me put a request for notification when it was available. That actually worked.
I have been wearing these for approximately 2 weeks. Extremely comfortable for extended wear in all conditions. I’ve worn these for 10-12 hour days on the shooting range in full gear and my feet were not only cool and dry, they were the only part of my body that wasn’t sore. I’ve been wearing Salomon Speed Assaults for the past couple of years, but wanted something more suited to all weather conditions during tactical training. These are perfect so far.

So I have had these for a couple of weeks now. All in all I like them. I do find them to be snug around the sides of your feet and a little loose around the opening of the shoe.The draw cord is way to long leaving about 4 to 5 inches of extra cord. I have the low cut nongortex which seem to fit better.I'm happy with the purchase and just need to break them in a little more.

The left shoe had a seam stitching that runs under the sole that I could feel protruding up and into the blade of my left foot. I thought the shoe might be too narrow so I returned them after a few days. Since the retailer did not carry a size 10 Wide, I purchased the new pair directly from Salomon and had them shipped. I tried them on and felt the same issue on the left shoe. I don’t know if I got both shoes from a bad lot, or if this is a common issue nobody is reporting, but I just chalked it up to a loss. The traction and dexterity of the shoe is great! So far, so good. Seem to be built well and sturdy. A little heavier than my Danner (similar style) versions but not too much. I would recommend them as they are a great combination of a hiker and full tactical boots.
I wear 11.5 extra wide in ASICS(ordered these in size 12), these feel snug but still enough room in toe box. I think they will break in as I wear them more. Not a lot of cushioning, but stability and tread are outstanding. Only gripe is the lacing bracket has to tuck down into little pocket and sometimes loosens itself. I’m nitpicking though.
