Shoes were pretty comfortable out of the box and only got better as they broke in. Great for a daily shoe to walk around town in and even better for trails. Sizing is pretty spot on. Only thing I didn’t love was how far the tongue sticks up sometimes, but just a personal preference. Price initially seemed a little steep, but so far they’ve been holding up as well or better than expected. Would definitely purchase another pair in the future.

I have been a loyal Salomon customer for years since my Plantar Fasciitis started flaring up again. I’m an avid weightlifter and I also hike and move around a lot. I wanted one shoe that could do it all. I started buying several generations of the Salomon Speedcross and S Labs. I have to admit that you almost lost me as a customer because the quality suffered terribly during the pandemic and over the last year or so along with very limited choices and awful/boring colors. I saw these and jumped right ion it because of the color and they are S Labs. I was a bit hesitant because they are quite pricey, but decided to give it a go. I absolutely love them! Over 10 years ago I bought a pair of XT Wings to hike in Nepal. They were absolutely amazing and lasted many many years. When I retired them I never found another pair of Salomon's that could replace them until now! I walk a lot with my Great Dane and I was therefore VERY excited when I saw that the XT-4 OG had a very similar construction to my XT Wings. I bought a pair in size 9 mens (I am normally a size 10.5 women) and I am very HAPPY that I did! Can't wait to go on long walks with my dog and feel like I am walking on air! I hope these last a long time like my XT-Wings did! Only time will tell!
