I bought the Loraine Bit Loafer in Raspberry Velvet. The color is truly unique and gorgeous. However, as for fit, I should have listened to other reviewers about what size to order. I normally wear an 8.5 wide, so that's the size I ordered. The width was fine but it was entirely too long. This is my second pair of these shoes. I bought a second pair to have another color and because my pink ones were a little worn. I absolutely love them. I'm always happy to pay a little more money than I'd like for a quality shoe. This is a great example of that. These shoes are the most comfortable flats I've had in years. I'm impressed and will buy more. My only complaint about this style is that the leather ones are loose my narrow feet so I am limited to the fabrics. Overall -- these go with every outfit in my wardrobe and can be worn any time of year!

My normal size is EU 36 for all European brands or JP 23 for Japan brands (rarely buy shoes from United States so not sure about my normal size in US).I bought 5.5 for this Loraine loafer. Fit really exactly to my feet (a bit tight in width but not uncomfortable and I believe it will loose after a few times wear). I am happy with the fit.If you are EU 36 and want a bit extra room, you should order 6.The loafer is so comfortable and looking forward to wearing it.Quality wise, I don't like the plastic odor and the leather has a mat finish (I expected shiny).Thanks everyone for your reviews here to help me find the right size. :)

I bought the black Loraine Bit loafers a couple months ago and l love them-- I never got a blister breaking them in, there was no gapping when I walked, and they were super comfortable. I wanted to get the Loraine Bit in other colors and ordered them in Soft Beige Leather. The beige ones were uncomfortable when I wore them around the house and so I exchanged them for the white leather. I've had the white leather for a couple weeks now and they are not comparable to my black loafers. I get bad blisters from them and there is plenty of gapping when I walk. I am not sure why the quality seems to be different for the black loafers versus the other colors.

I originally ordered an 8W (my normal size). When I received them they had about a finger-width gap between the back of the shoe and my heel. I made the decision to get a 7W, and the shoe length is much closer to my size. I don't know that I would say these are a true wide. I assume Sam Edelman shoes run fairly narrow, and I would say the wide width probably puts the shoe at a medium width. Overall, I like the style and am willing to compromise on the width, as I know the leather will likely stretch out. If you have an average/slightly wide or narrow foot, I would recommend. If you have really wide foot, pass on these.

Sadly, I purchased the Black patent ones (which are indeed gorgeous and my style), but they quickly creased in a noticeable way on the first day worn before I even mad it to work!I was so shocked when I arrived at work, got out of my vehicle and noticed a huge noticeable crease in my left foot (located at the ball of the toe bend and foot area). Please keep in mind that these shoes have only been worn ONCE!I don't even need a refund and would be just as happy with a store credit. This is my first terrible experience with Sam Edelman after being a loyal customer of many years.
