These are great bags which did me and my son for a 3 week trip to Florida (one each). I'm sure most will need something bigger, but being frequent flyers we pack light and use wash facilities onsite to freshen our clothes. Lots of useful pockets on the outside and a surprisingly big main compartment with the must have TSA locks for US travel. My one unexpected complaint was that they let in water despite the fact they're advertised to be water resistant, so it was lucky I'm in the habit of covering my bag contents with a towel. Overall very happy.

Made out of a nice material (soft pockets, wipe clean, feels robust). There is loads of room in the bag- great for winter weekends away or at least 4 nights with summer clothes. It moves/ wheels easily and quietly and (contrary to the review below) I've had it very full it does stand upright on its own when not being held.Anyone not sure whether to spend the money, you won't be disappointed and it'll last you much longer than cheaper alternatives.

Lovely looking bag on wheels that work as they should. I have two gripes :1. On its first outing the bag flipped over going up a small incline and though I immediately stopped, the result was a gaping hole in the fabric on the bottom of the bag. It needs reinforcing here to prevent this from happening. I just hope this hole is not going to get larger or this will be a disaster. See image.2. An additional zipped pocket for keys, passport etc would have been very useful. There is only one laptop-sized pocket and small items drop to the bottom which is not helpful when searching for the passport or keys.
I looked long and hard for a cabin bag that looked less business but was easy to use. This has pockets in all the right places and I love that the inside is separated by 2 compression compartments so your life doesn't spill out. The front compartments mean electronics are easily accessible for security and important items are reachable. My husband keeps borrowing it for his work trips!
This is a great Samsonite suitcase, well made, well designed and looks great. Unfortunately it is almost 57cm tall - not 55cm as marketed. This is to the height of the stiff 'collar' and therefore can't be squashed down (I tried!). I'm not risking a challenge from an airline over its over-sized cabin size so it'll have to be returned. Gutted!
We needed new cabin luggage whilst on holiday in France and bought two of these whilst there.I cannot recommend them. Capacity is good and they are attractive cases and reasonably light. There are useful pockets on the outside too for passports, mobile phones etc but, and I found it really irritating, the stay at the base of the case does not prevent the case from falling over when the case is full. So, in a queue to check-in, I could not let the case go as it just toppled.I could not recommend it - for that price, it should be sturdy enough to stand on its own two feet (well, wheels).
This is a really well designed cabin bag which conforms to EasyJet and Ryanair large cabin bag rules. Perfect for when you are away for a week and don’t want to take hold luggage and the smaller free cabin bag won’t cut it. Love the colour, loads of space, reasonably light and looks very durable and sturdy. Samsonite make excellent luggage, our ancient hold cases have been round the world several times and knocked about but seem indestructible so fingers crossed!
Good storage capacity. Great inner zip covers that keep everything in place. Outer sleeve perfect for laptop/ereader. Easy to move around with good wheels and pull-handle. And most of all, can be carried on and stores perfectly in overhead locker. Made my domestic flight so much easier. Good solid case that I know will last. Oh, and great colour, very distinctive.

Common sense suggests that a soft bag packed in this way will fall over especially if the materials in the bottom are also soft and don't provide a rigid base. The advantage of the two fixed wheels is that it doesn't start dancing when on a train. You position it with the wheels furthest from a wall and then watch the cases of others spin off down the aisle.The bag looks good, has several discreet pockets and a quick inspection-safe locking system but also allows padlocks. I probably won't use this as a backpack as I have others. It's a good size to reduce over-packing and it fits my day pack inside snugly for storage.
