I have been looking for a high-end soundbar to replace the clutter of a traditional 5.1 theater set up and the Samsung HW-Q900T fits the bill perfectly. The unit is a premium 7.1.2 setup with a dedicated subwoofer consisting of 7 channels, 1 subwoofer, and 2 up firing channels powered by 16 speakers with speakers positioned at both corners of the sound bar to produce an expanded sound stage. It was important to me that my new soundbar supported Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I wanted a cleaner look and was happy that this unit was able to give me immersive surround.

Purchased this sound bar with a new Samsung 75" QLED - this is my first venture into soundbars and OMG - super easy setup through HDMI ARC and such great clarity of sound! Awesome product, highly recommend it and simply brilliant. Add to that the fact that I was also able to connect via BT to my phone and now I have a great stereo as well - why didn't I buy one of these sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought another brand of soundbar as i was having trouble understanding what was being said on my TV but it made no difference. I bought the Samsung and the words have now become crystal clear. Absolutely love this new sound bar. Only complaint is that the remote looks nearly identical to the TV remote and so i often pick up the wrong one.

I bought this last week from Best Buy from their recommendation. I got it home and went to set it up and mount it to the wall. Unfortunately, it does NOT come with the wall hardware. I thought no problem, I'll use two of the many hollow wall mounts I have. Wrong, I now have many holes in my wall as they would not stay. I believe from observation that this is directly due to the design of the bracket as it relates to the pull off the wall. This is very frustrating and for this I'm giving it low marks.
While the HW-A650 may not top the Samsung sound bar range, Samsung heritage continues to reinforce a tradition of hassle free setup and user interface combined with effortless listening pleasure. With this soundbar paired to our longer term Samsung 4KQLED office setup a new Samsung 8k 800series now awaits a Q series soundbar tounleash its full potential.
It’s a great product. The sound quality is excellent but it doesn’t make people’s voices in movies as loud as I was hoping. I still have to turn the volume up to hear people talking and down when the loud music or sound effects come on. Although it is better than without the sound bar and I suspect that it can only do so much due to the way the movies are made.
Ok I got this model being unsure if it would be any good but it blew me away with quality sound.Nice and compact bar with subwoofer that has good balance of bass and the bar itself put out good quality sound,Watching the football was a joy and music was great.Would recommend this to anyone that wants quality and stylist equipment to go with theirSamsung tv.
I purchased my soundbar to compliment my new Samsung QLED TV three weeks ago.Connection to the TV was easy using HDMI ARC. The different sound modes are quite good, as is the slimline appearance.Sound quality is great, and certainly a lot better than the TV's inbuilt speakers.The soundbar also connects easily via bluetooth to external devices such as a phone, so you can enjoy your music.
Samsung sound bar i purchased for better tv sound. Its not what i expected i still need to turn up the volume for certain programs. So am a little disappointed. Also my tv kind of broke. I now have 5 led ligts broken in my tv. Kind of annoying in the centre of the screen. They appeared after plugging in sound bar. Purchased from Harvey norman Bendigo
I am not a fan of sound bars, but I wanted something to replace the stereo speakers for the bedroom TV, needed at least 3ch sub was a bonus. I did not want to spend big money and deal with mounting speakers etc just for the Bedroom.I thought that it couldn't be any worse than what I already had so I took the chance, on special and what a good deal it turned out to be. It is very clear and the sub is not actually too bad. Value for money is amazing and it does the job, sub was already connected out of the box.Only issue so far is that sometimes the ARC disconnects while watching something and then reconnects or when I go to use it I have to turn it off and on again to get ARC working.
