I was looking for a new FHD monitor and this is even better than what I was expecting. It includes streaming apps and I can connect with 2 HDMI inputs and select my own side-by-side or PIP with a combination of different inputs, e.g., I can work on my computer while also watching a show. Very cool! Did I mention this was a great value, the best price I found by researching other sites/stores. You can even connect a keyboard and mouse to the monitor and control your computer or connect to web services or... it's great!

Is it a monitor? Yes! Is it a tv? Yes! Overall, it works well as both. Primarily use as a monitor for my MacBook and its been a game changer. Lots of room to multi task and font looks great. I dont game, just use it for excel, word, and research. As a tv it works well, though only being 1080p its not as crisp as my Samsung 4K tv. Overall Id recommend.

I wish the warehouse would have these monitors in display and I’m working mode like they do in other places. But they don’t.It worked well for a few weeks and now everything just freezes. Took the screen back to the warehouse who told me it was my internet that was issue. They didn’t bother to even check the screen. So I did some trouble shooting and turns out, it’s just the screen.Reason for 2 stars is that it’s a good size, and the picture quality is good. - just isn’t good value for the price that it’s been charged for. I now have a monitor that is about as intermittent as the customer service at the warehouse.

Pros: Very easy to connect wirelessly to laptop, mouse, keabord and earphones.Easy for eyes to use a a computer monitorDecent pictire quality to use as a tvSlick design does not take a spaceCons: Sometimes can lose a connection with a laptop (once during 2-3 hours). But this could be a problem with my home WiFi.A slite delay with mouse response compere to a laptop - not critical for office job.Can't find a proper manual how to browse the interface
Attractive slim design. Crisp clear image. Amazing connectivity. I have mine connected to my virgin TV box. Combined with the inbuilt Now TV, Netflix, YouTube and Web browser, I am never at a loss for something to watch. I also love just tapping my phone on the side of the monitor and it is screen sharing. Using the alexa voice control actually works extremely well. I also like to connect to my bt earbuds, very simply and effectively. I have not tried gaming yet, but have no doubt it will be a very pleasant experience. Genuinely love my monitor, every aspect intelligently concidered. My only regret was not buying one sooner.
Have owned this monior for a few months now and I could accept the weird glitch that meant you couldn't watch Channel 4 live programming through the inbuilt app but yesterday the Now TV wouldn't load and it requested a firmware update before it would go again. I tried to do this via the settings but no update was available. I opened a Web chat with Samsung and it appears the firmware update has to be done via a USB download rather than a simple automatic system update.So for me who has just paid £25 for a sports package via Now TV that I now can't view because my monitor won't update.A supervisor was asked to call but they haven't bothered either.In answer to the question would I recommend? Avoiding yes buying no.
I bought this 6 weeks ago. I'm disappointed by its many limitations. I used a Mac to connect through Apple Airplay: it worked intermittently for 2 weeks and now it won't. Using Office 365, I tried to use Teams, thinking I can plug a webcam in one of the monitor's USB ports... unfortunately, Teams doesn't work requiring you to download a supported browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) which you CANNOT DO. You can try downloading the desktop version of Teams, which you cannot do. And there are only a handful of useful apps to choose from. If buying solely to watch Netflix, Prime, or Disney+, then it's worthwhile.
In terms of utility, this monitor beats everything hands down. It is nearly perfect in every way.When display is connected very vibrant and perfect for entertainment and productivity.When not connect to computer, you can use it for entertainment such as netflix, YouTube etc, and does not require your computer to be switched on! The perfect solution if you simply want to sit back for a movie.However, I have to say I am abit disappointed this monitor doesn’t come with a headphone Jack, especially when streaming directly from the screen. The speakers produce average sound, and I would really like to be able to connect it to my speakers for a much more immersive experience. Hopefully Samsung will add this feature in their future smart monitors.
I am unable to change from source hdmi1 to hdmi2 without it failing to recognize the source several times a day. Moreover, the troubleshooting menu shows the source in the miniature, but after that full screen won't show the source... Months of "support" and without the 2 screens (they keep taking them to analyze) and Samsung shows no progress on correcting a basic functionality -- to select a source. This is no smart device, it is dumber than any monitor ever.
I bought this smart monitor as a cheaper alternative to a smart TV , since I would never need to use the terrestrial TV functionality. I cannot comment on using it as a computer monitor, but for running TV and music apps it is great. Picture seems perfect to my eye and sound quality is perfectly acceptable for this type of product, although I am considering connecting a soundbar to upgrade the listening experience to the next level
