I bought this monitor and a laptop from Dell a month ago. The monitor arrived 3 to 4 weeks early but I did not have a source to plug it into to. The monitor looked fine on the outside. The Dell laptop just arrived yesterday and when I plugged it into the Thunderbolt port I noticed the screen is cracked on the inside. It is difficult to tell from the outside that there is such crack. I own several products from Samsung and I have never had this kind of issue. I did not expect this service from Samsung.

I liked this monitor while it laster, but the lifespan was way too short and disappointing. While it still works, it now has vertical darker areas in the center of the screen while both the left and the right edges are missing colours and are smudgy. I expected this monitor to last a lot longer given the premium price-tag...

Monitor is an incredible value. Did not have any of the issues mentioned in the previous posts. I intend to use external speakers and a wall mount, Samsung's focus seems to be on the monitor itself.

I wanted to set up another computer station in my house so i have been looking for a monitor to make this happen. I was browsing through a store today and came across this monitor. Great price and I jumped on it...got it home unwrapped everything and set it up. Very simple to put the stand together and the monitor it very secure sitting on my desk. Got the computer set up and powered everything up and the first thing I noticed was the image....it was amazing!!!! I looked through all the setting and made a few slight adjustments but really out of the box it was perfect. I had plans to purchase external speakers so this monitor not having speakers was fine with me. I received it yesterday and was super excited about all the real estate screen. Until I tried to watch a movie in full screen but there are black lines around the video. The black lines on the sides are 3in thick and I can't figure out how to make them full screen. Also, I am not able to control the brightness and volume from my MacBook connected via Thunderbolt 3 nor from my keyboard connected via bluetooth. I contacted Support and they told me those setting can only be controlled from the button on the back of the monitor. Is that for real Samsung?
The monitor is a good value purchase. Except the power supply for the monitor is not sufficient enough for some hardware. I noticed it the second I seen the cord. My screen turns back and shuts off when I had the Monroe in for more than a few hours. I changed my setting on my different devices and the issues still exists.
Literally so upset with this monitor. The stand is terrible, flimsy and does not feel secure at all. No tilt option and leans downwards. Then my monitor stopped working. It turns on but shows no picture. Really unhappy with this product.
I purchased this monitor to mount it on an Ergotron monitor arm. The description says it is VESA compatible, but when I got the monitor, there was no way for me to mount it on the monitor arm, because they did not provide the bracket that makes it VESA compatible. This is false advertising and you will have to go find a bracket which is impossible to find! Don't buy this monitor if you are looking to mount it.
I've been having issues connecting DisplayPort mini adaptor from iMac 5K to monitor. Display port 1.2 setting doesn't work, but 1.1 does. wondering what the issue is. The joystick button and selection of video mode (Hdmi, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3.) isn't the best or most intuitive User eXperience. You have to wait till it cycles through all the modes itself and then after a minute or so, you can change the input manually.
A year and a couple of months after I bought the monitor, I started seeing black lines that seemed to get worse over time. I have not moved the screen and pretty sure it is not physically damaged. It is clearly a manufacturing issue. How convenient to happen exactly after the warranty has ended. Very disappointed! save your money and get another monitor.
