I bought this in January 2017. The fridge got really noisy after about nine months (bearing in the fan perhaps). I called up about it while it was still under warranty and after talking to Samsung many times they still have not fixed it. For nearly $1000 I expected a fridge that doesn't wake me up during the night because it's so noisy. My next step is getting Choice to advocate for me. I think Samsung's policy for dealing with warranty claims is to wear the customer down with endless circles of questions, excuses about not being able to contact you, telling you they've ordered the part and then never getting back to you, demanding you diagnose the specific problem again and again, and then telling you it's operating normally and should be that noisy.This fridge ... MoreI bought this in January 2017. I bought this a month ago and I am struggling to get the shelves in heights where I'm completely happy. There is plenty of room in the doors however in the fridge itself you're very limited by the height of things you can put on the shelf. It does have the ability to roll back a shelf but that reduces the amount of usable capacity. I initially took the bottle rack out but have just recently put it back in to see if this would help. The angle of the bottle rack at the front is too low which means that some of the bottles leak. One drawer for vegetables is only not completely satisfying either. It keeps things cold and is overall a nice looking fridge but I'm not completely happy and wish I had purchased a different brand.

The only problem and it is minor, is that the bottom freezer drawer can pull out too far if you are not careful and it is a little bit fiddly to get back.....not a read problem as all the other benefits out way this issue by far.It is an extremely quiet fridge, which is wonderful compared to my last one.Just remember, that you cannot change the fridge and freezer settings until the fridge has been on for a few hours perhaps and then I think it automatically sets the fridge to 4 deg and the freezer -16......so really now need to do any settings.

Probably too small for 4+ people though. Solid shelving. Ice tray works well. Great interior light too. We have the collapsing shelf to full extension at all times and leave it, as moving it is annoying and it's a lil flimsy. No problems when fully extended though.The fridge can be quite noisy when the compressor kicks in; think of an electric trimmer/shaver clacking away. It gets quieter during the cycle though. Not an issue for us as our bedrooms are away from it but something to consider for others. Good thing it holds its temperate well and doesn't need to turn on often. I chose this one, thinking it would simply be smaller, and far more economical. I've since found it has great storage capacity, lots of options for storage, and is easy to clean. It's quiet, looks great in the kitchen, doesn't show marks as stainless steel always does, and freezer is so neat to maintain with the three pull out crates for storage. The crates are easy to lift out, as they have handles on the sides. I actually have the fridge set on the lowest temp, and have had no problems keeping food cold enough over summer. I like the overall fridge, it has plenty of room and is quiet and efficient. However the plastic shelves are prone to cracking. We've been through three door shelves in as many years, and half of our freezer doors have come off. And it's expensive to replace!
I am so very disappointed in this fridge. This is also my second Samsung fridge, and I had no problem with the first one until it stopped working after 12 years. This unit however is a very different story, like everyone else I’ve had issues with the draws/runners in the freezer. Then at just 3 years old the freezer stopped freezing due to a faulty sensor. Samsung declined to pay for the repair despite saying several times ‘customer satisfaction is very important to them’. LOL clearly it’s not!!! Anyway, this will be the last fridge/freezer I will buy from Samsung and my advice would be to look at another brand, one who has good customer service when there is a manufacturing fault.

The vegetable crisper keeps the vegetables beautiful and fresh - much better than the fridge we had before - and we have even started keeping fruit in the fridge for this reason. Apples kept in the fridge stay crisp and juicy. It is a very quiet refrigerator; in fact we just don't notice it - even in the kitchen. We were constantly updated on when the delivery would happen and even texted on the day. The delivery driver, Farid from Winning Services, phoned us on the morning of the delivery to give us an arrival time. Farid was cheerful and helpful in setting the fridge up and he took the old one away. Great service by Appliances Online, unlike another online company with a similar sounding name that I recently dealt with. Thank you, Appliances Online and Farid, we'll be using you again.

The shelves in the door are movable but there aren't actually many ways you can arrange them to create lots of deep shelves in the door. This would be the one thing that I don't particularly like about it (there is plenty of space for short jars) but I can cope by putting taller jars on a shelf instead ;o) Just personal preference.
