Samsung 8.5kg Front Load Washer WW85T554DAB

I bought this washer 8 months ago. I am not happy with this unit. The door seals and trims all get extremely gunky. The rubber seal gets socks stuck in it during the wash so once the cycle is done there are soaking wet socks in the seal. The worst thing about this machine (which Samsung do not warn you about but expect you to read everything in the manual before use) is that socks get sucked under the drum and stuck around the mechanics inside the machine causing issues. Samsung would not cover this under warranty as apparently in their user manual it tells you to use a washing back for socks and bras. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen/heard. I believe they are well aware of this issue as the seemed to know all about it and were very quick to deny my claim.

We've been using this machine for nearly two months and we absolutely love it. It does an amazing job of washing, it's quiet, and the different cycles have been great to play around with. For most of our washes, though, we tend to use the E-Cotton cycle, and that takes under two hours. We sometimes change the default temperature and spin if we need to. The Delicates cycle does an amazing job of washing gently too. The other options we've enjoyed using is Bedding, Towels, and Woolen. We love that it's energy and water efficient. We can't fault it so far. The only thing that we didn't like is the fact that the machine arrived with a massive scratch along the window. Our last washing machine (Samsung 7.5kg) was overloaded (e.g. three pairs of jeans plus other clothes) too many times and the barrel started knocking against the sides when spinning fast but it did last 9 years.
