First and foremost. Its super quiet and really efficient. We can use it anytime of day and it doesnt impact our power. The app function is great for setting it up. I wish you could start and stop it via the app but its great bit of kit. It plays a tune when done. The filter is easy to clean plus a tool provided. Negatives if any: Most items are dried first time. Sometimes they clunk together and need a second spin but all dryers have this. I wish it had come with the shoe rack for drying washed trainers. In summary. For energy efficiency and near perfect drying ability. This wins hands down and i have recommended to many colleagues and friends alike

Works very well, only problem is the connection for the drain hose to an under sink location. Samsung do not supply a fitting to enable drain hose to connect in the same manner that a dishwasher connects under your sink. Went to the local Tradelink plumbing supply store and they also do not have a fitting that would enable you to connect the hose. Problem number 2 is that I bought a package with washing machine which had a $200 cash back. Harvey Norman did not supply any details on how to claim this. When you do try to claim you have to jump through hoops to get it. If you are not computer savvy forget it. Not much good for an 81 year old person

6 Months of hell! It started only 2 months after the first purchase, the dryer flooded my laundry (internal pump failure) I received a replacement unit it was a lower model as they didnāt have my original unit in stock and received no compensation even tho I asked for itā¦ the now āreplacementā unit has failed almost exactly 2 months again flooding my laundry. Technician came out again and said the same thing internal pump failure! I told Samsung I want a refund they said okayā¦ IT TOOK 4 MONTHS TO COLLET!! AND REFUND THE MONEY!! I have had issues with other Samsung products too a TV there products look good and have wonderful features BUT THEY ARE JUNK! *AVOID* *AVOID* *AVOID* SAMSUNG!!!

Been wondering from a while whether to buy or not, or which heat pump dryer to go for considering mixed reviews and the cost.Have got some other Samsung appliance at home and pretty satisfied with them, but was sceptical about the dryer due to the price and well known alternative brands in market. But since we made the decision to go with Samsung, it certainly proved to be worth every penny. If now, we have to make the same decision again, we'd do it blindfolded any number of times for this model.Great features, specially AI. Takes 2 hours at max for most loads. ITs smart feature measures the load and dries as required. No need for exhaust and doesnt steam up the laundry room. The large water container gets all the water from cloths and easy to dispose the water after drying. Its very quite for a dryer. Quick dry option is really useful for less load drying. AirWash gives cloths a plesent smell and fell. I do airwash the cloths after sun drying it. With my previous dryer, i can feel that the cloths get very dry and cloths were losing its tenderness. With this smart dryer, it just dries to the right limit and cloths feel fresh and retains the newly washed smell. Really enjoying my new heat pump dryer. It is replacing an ancient 4kg vented dryer that was on its last legs. Itās so fantastic to have a dryer that doesnāt fill the room with dust and condensation, you can put everything in and set to AI dry and it handles the rest for you. Really enjoy its smart sensor to keep drying until it senses the clothes are the correct level of dryness, and also enjoy it remembers the most frequently used setting so itās placed as the first option to choose. Also love that the door can be changed to left swing, most dryers didnāt have the option but works best for my laundry layout. I havenāt done this yet but will add functionality once itās done. Iām sure there is more functions I havenāt used yet but so far loving the new dryer!
Perhaps not quite what I was expecting from this new technology... Works fine, but takes a bit longer, than a conventional dryer. The 'AI' function seems to be merely a marketing line. Best dry (mixed load) seems to be 'Cotton' - it's a bit more gentle, and not as hot. 'Tis a bit of a noisy machine, with it's regular thump; thump; thump, on rotation - apparently that's normal...ha! The lint filter is easy to clean; and don't forget to also clean the condensor, in the compartment next to it. Way too many programmes on the dial, but there again, am used to two settings: Duration; and temperature.
I am really confused about how people are not experiencing this issue. Anything with a drawstring - shorts, pants, bras, straps, cords on hoodies, is completely destroyed by this machine, the drum throws clothes forward to the lint catcher, which is poorly designed because it tapers to a fine point in the plastic. Anything that can dangle will catch and get stuck, as it repeatable throws clothes forward round and round. It's ruined 3 pairs of shorts, 2 jumpers and a partridge in a pair tree. Other than that, which is extremely annoying. It's a great dryer! Heat pump technology is amazing. The clothes are very dry, have no wrinkles and the machine has a ton of features. Samsung has crappy online support, their online chat goes unanswered.

It finishes and items still wet. It takes three cycles to get one sheet dry. So not sure how it got a high energy rating. Even a small pile of clothes, it will take two cycles for them to come up dry. The āintelligenceā sucks. Donāt be fooled in by the app, itās useless or the connecting with washer. If load 1 finishes in the washer and you load #2, then go to put in load 1 in the dryer, it suggests the cycle for load 2. Small detail but a pain. Terrible machine deign. Worst investment we ever made. Takes hours to dry clothes. But worst of all is the condenser that cannot be removed to clean. It gets wet and clogged with lint which dries like cement, no matter how often you clean it, it is impossible to clean properly. After 3 years has started to smell like stagnant water and makes clothes smell musty. Other people on line are complaining that they are unable to clean the condenser also. The manual, & Samsung tech support, tell you to vacuum the condenser, luckily we have a wet & dry vacuum because I think that is bad advice to give the public - to vacuum something that is always wet. Apparently other brand of heat pump dryer have a removable condenser which is a much better design.
