Samsung Galaxy A13 (128GB, Black)

The ONLY thing this phone has going for it is its wonderful battery life. I have been playing Pokemon GO for years now, and it's always a good thing to have more time to play, especially in less than ideal conditions.However... the UI is an absolute nightmare. I've had this for two months and STILL can't figure out my way around this thing. It's needlessly complicated, with things just kinda strewn everywhere. It's a good thing you can type in a search for the options you need, because otherwise I would be completely lost.Also, this has got to be the most disobedient phone I've ever had. Why does it decide to go to sleep when I'm mid-call? Why is it needlessly oversensitive? It keeps thinking I press buttons that I'm not pressing. I am more than a foot away than my targets when it still demands me to stay 3-5 cm away... and even then, it's just completely blurry.I'm seriously looking foward to having a better phone years down the line. Please do not get this.

Decent Samsung phone. Recommend to budget users.

The a13 in specifications is alright. The chipset is a exynos 850 (exynos 850 comes with SM-A135F) or a mediatek helio g80 (helio g80 comes with SM-A137F) with the gpu of the mali g52. Good variety of ram from 3, 4 or 6. The rom is also good within the a13, you get about 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity in the a13 is a 5000mwh. Talking about the screen you get a 6,6 inch display, pls tft, 2408x1080 resolution and 400ppi. Only downgrade for the screen is that the refresh rate is limited at 60hz. The camera setup is a quad, the selfie camera is 8mp, back wide camera is 50mp, the ultra wide camera is 5mp and the macro and the depth sensor are 2mp. There is no waterproof or dustproof inside of the phone which is also another downgrade for the a13. Speakers are good and bassey sounding with only a single loudspeaker. The a13 has two microphones located at the top and the bottom of the phone. The a13 also has a 3.3ml wired headphone jack. The a13 also has biometrics in the phone which has a fingerprint sensor and face recognition. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the side of the a13 where you turn on the phone. Anyways I do recommend this phone for budget users if you are looking for a large phone, looking for a phone with a cheaper price or good camera quality.

This a nice phone for your basic needs. Its runs the lastest Andriod 12 uodate along Samsungs latest One UI 4.1 update. It has a extra upgrades from the 5G version. The biggest upgrade is the display. Its 10x better than the display on the Galaxy A13 5G and the Galaxy A32 5G. It's a 1080p screen with grear colors. The phone has dual sim abd both sim slots actually work. Now here are the downgrades. The storage is limited to 32GB, the total ram is limited to 3GB. The phone isnt slow by any means. Ive already received one updatr from Samsung that address performance issues. Now the phone runs much better than it did out the box. Do you need a phone without fancy bells and whistles? Something that lags so hard you wind up inadvertently opening other programs while your initial choice loads because you click it again? Do you want something that will help you find every cellular dead zone in your path? How about a longing for the sound quality of 2 soup cans and a string? Plan to never need to look up something quickly? How about speech to text processing that rivals a foreign movie playing underneath a throw pillow? That's what the internet is for: right?This phone lags on streaming, apps, messages....I swear if i dropped it off a cliff it would lag on gravity.If you're over the age of 80 and need something that might make a phone call provided you're in the right spot; sure. Just make sure you're constantly ready for the call, because this gem WILL ring out before you can get it to swipe and open to take the call.But hey, go ahead and give it a whirlOtherwise, don't make the mistake i did by buying this out of jaded spite because you had to pay off your old phone before you could buy a new one because you'll just wind up using a tablet, a computer, smoke signals....interpretive dance.....

My New Samsung Galaxy A13 5G

I bought my Samsung Galaxy A13 5G about week ago. But first let me say that before that I had the Samsung Galaxy A03s and that was the worst phone I have ever owned but let me also say that Samsung has the best phones I've ever had but the A03s was the worst on memory andeven so they said you should have been able to add more storage with and SD card it would take it no matter how many i bought and I bought 3 of them. And it froze up real bad. Just saying the worst. But since I know Samsung has never failed me till then I still bout the A13 5G and so far it's got more memory and it also excepted my memory card and have great video for watching movies and music video the speaker system in its awesome I think and it takes beautiful photos. Needs Updated Security System , etc.

Needs updated Secutity system and modification apps to prevent fraud, skimmers, lurkers, robbers, hackers, etc. I go through Total wireless by Verizon and I bought this phone not even 2 months ago from Walmart and it already has charging issues, so hard to keep charge, depending on the day , it will keep charge. Maybe it's the service provider I'm using , instead of the phone? I'm not sure. But overall, it's decent for the price you pay. So that was basically useless or a useless decision/option to do. But overall , so far the A13 with 5G that I am currently using now, is OK, overall.

Phone itself (hardware) is fine. Basic apps are not good

The phone (hardware) gets 4 stars. The apps get 0 stars. Battery life, screen brightness, response speed, voice clarity, signal reception..all that stuff are perfectly fine (disclosure: my phone is a communications device to me, not an entertainment device -- I don't game or stream movies or any of that). But the key basic apps -- phone, email, text, voicemail are a huge step backward from my old phone (LG G2, Android 6) in terms of ease of use and power; I find them ridiculously frustrating and childish. If I could keep Samsung A13 hardware but install an 8 year old operating system and app set on it, I'd be happy.PS. Pros: This smartphone is very simple and easy to use. The design is very basic but I loved the fact that it has got a big 6.6in screen which makes the experience more enjoyable. This phone has got 4 cameras that are very clear and of high quality, you get really good photos. I was actually very impressed. The battery life is also good, I charge it once and it keeps me going through all day without recharging. The storage is good as well, you get 64 GB but you also have option of Micro SD card if you need more storage.
