Samsung displays are simply unmatchable by any competitor and I've never had any issues with any of their products.. I can't stress how much I can't wait for my laptop to arrive in mid March...although it's pricey..it's in line with its competitors when comparing similar spec laptops. Plus their free headphone offer and other incentives currently going on, made this laptop a lot better deal then any other company. Samsung has really come a long way in the last couple years which is why I did not wait and put in my pre-order because I don't doubt the quality or power of this laptop one bit. Reason I went 32GB GeForce 4070 RTX model is i already have a powerful desktop and i want to use this for graphic design and gaming and don't want to be confined to a desk or my home. I specifically wanted a high end machine capable of coming with me where ever I go. This model was about $1000 more but you get 32GB instead of 16GB Ram..1TB instead of 512GB SSD..Intel Core Ultra 9 processor vs Ultra 7, 4070 Nvidia Geforce RTX vs 4050 RTX..and this is a one time investment, so I felt the value of this model was more then fair. Keep up the great work Samsung, your loyal customer.

( Maybe something that can be sorted through future development and updates)One thing which I found really useful is the integration with Galaxy apps and other Samsung devices . I am easily able to transition between devices, pick up where I left off and share and move content easily without having to have a usb cable to hand.Battery life- I was slightly disappointed as I was not able to get close to the claimed 22 hours of battery life ( This might be possible if the device is used in lab like testing conditions with minimal usage , efficiency mode and lowest brightness) I'd say for an average real life user like myself, its closer to 8-9 hours with modest usage and maybe 5-6 hours with heavy usage /processing.- I have tried using the Copilot feature to help with tasks such as browsing the web, writing an email, helping me code SQL,VBA or CMD and it useful. It is fairly quick but doesn't always understand what I'm trying to get it to do so I do have to prompt is . ( I guess this will improve alongside development.)The not so Good!- No upgradeable Ram / Storage - After a few years, I always upgrade my Ram and SSD to help the device stay up and running . I feel the 512gb ssd will run short eventually and I'll have to dedicate one of the devices limited ports to an external drive.- I haven't ben able to update the device as of yet - Each time I try, it fails with a no internet connection error. ( A weird quirk where the network and internet page of the device tells me I'm not connected to any network , but the Wi-FI page tells me I am).- No included S-Pen / 360 hinge makes the touchscreen feature difficult to utilise- Massive trackpad- I feel this space could be used for a bigger Keyboard / another secondary display.

Battery life is impressive lasting all day in my usage of gaming, video and photo editing and browsing. The screen is large and nice and vibrant with the ability to adjust the brightness and colours to your liking or adaptable to the various media that you might display on screen. The screen is also a touch screen which means quick and easy selection by finger or by using the provided S pen. The screen also has an anti glare effect to it which helps when in bright locations and it does not effect the quality of the image provided. The Book5 Pro screen also folds a full 180 and can be used like a tablet but with all your Windows software and applications. You can still have a wireless mouse or wired mouse and use it also in tablet mode. The Book5 Pro can also stand in tent formation so you can watch media in a small footprint.Performance wise the Book5 Pro 360 is really quite good especially when gaming, photo and video editing. Good quick loading and fps for gaming is achieved as well as quick rending of videos and editing actions. There is also a useful microsd card slot should you need more storage space or transfer media.Where the Book5 Pro does fall down a bit is sound quality which whilst ok is a little lacking is not easily adjustable for various tones, bass etc... Also the S pen has no home to be kept safe and only is held on the bottom or top when closed via magnetism, so could be easily lost if not careful.Overall the Book5 Pro 360 is excellent for heavy load processing and games as well as taking with you when travelling as it is slim and light and can be used like a tablet. The screen is good and vibrant and ideal for displaying photos/ videos to clients when on the move. Versatility is the name of the game!

This has been an exciting tool to explore and use. The battery life offers up to 26 hours of use before needing to recharge and the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge comes with a charger and cable. The computer has 1 USB port, 2 USB4 ports (Supports speeds up to 40 GB a sec and are not interchangeable with USBC cables), 1 HDMI port, a micro SD card reader and a headphone/mic port as well. One interesting thing to note is the size of the keyboard with large keys and the inclusion of a numeric keypad which is not commonly a feature of many laptops. All in all, this is a great device and the perfect choice to support all my home and business needs. I'm excited to continue using and finding new ways of working with Samsung Galaxy Book Edge 4. Amazingly design laptop, even while being thin and light (won't even feel it in your bag) definitely has a really strong build quality, the hinge feel smooth to open and close, seem like its built to last. The color has been dubbed sapphire blue, which I guess has a slight hue but has nice sliver-ish finish that very appealing. The keyboard travel feels great, the big trackpad is great but I might suggest moving down the mouse speed. On this 16" model having a full size HDMI port is good, as ports are seemly disappearing now, also the two thunderbolt ports and regular USB port and headphone/mic jack gives the laptop multiple options for connections. The start up is real quick and the fingerprint reading power button makes access swift. The sound is great, could maybe tab bit louder but definitely doesn't disappoint.Standard camera but clear enough for whatever you need it for. The mic is clear and picks up voice even while not being close to the laptop. If AI is your thing or something your looking into the copilot onboard has you covered, the AI also plays into the camera if you want to get all kinds of effects in there.Performance wise, works amazingly with multiple apps working on screen all at the same time, handle with ease.If gaming is thing, this laptop works well with it tested out Dragonball kakarot, plays smooth saw no dropped framerate even at high settings. More demanding games might be different but for some standard/casual gaming runs great. 512 storage can fill up but the micro SD card slot let you add some extra storage.Definitely a great option for anyone looking for something new.

Need to mention the touchpad, it’s huge and very responsive making so many tasks easier without needing a mouse. Not sure how, given the light-weight and slim design, but the battery life is also remarkably good.Gaming and other applications:In addition to the remote play, I have run some medium capacity games so far and there were no issues whatsoever, with the GB5p still running well within itself! I also installed some graphic design SW and again no issues whatsoever and it ran very smoothly using touchpad or S-pen.Intra device features:I did have a play with the ‘galaxy experience’ features by connecting my phone, using this with the S-tab (for a second screen) or for taking work calls is a nice feature.Overall rating: 5/5If you are looking to play AAA games at full speed maybe not the laptop for you, for EVERYTHING else this will handle it and look great in the process. An exceptional all rounder, I am certainly happy with my purchase.

With this in mind the battery seems to keep going great for on the go work.16gb ram is plenty for any task which is likely to be done, I’d say the 1TB version would be ideal if editing videos or images specially when using the stunning AMOLED 3k 120hrtz touch screen.Good for mid-range gaming not really for high end gaming but good for gaming on the go for a quick fix.FeaturesSome of the stand out features• Copilot – Copilot AI is great for image generation and general AI tasks. Seems quick and get good results. Dedicated key on keyboard makes it even easier.• HDMI and usb A and c ports and an SD card reader.• Galaxy ecosystem – if you have a galaxy phone you ca easily share files and screen share and sync your phone as it integrates Samsung galaxy devices even smart things app• Finger print scanner• Amazing touch screen• Light and ultra-thin ideal for on the goConclusionThe Galaxy Book 4 Edge with the Snapdragon X processor stands out for its excellent connectivity, efficient performance, and enhanced battery life, all wrapped in a sleek, portable design. It is an ideal choice for users looking for a versatile laptop that excels in both work and entertainment. hopefully the recall feature will release soon as it could be a game changer, early reports are a September release. My only regret is I didn't get the 1TB version.

[Rewarded Review] Great protable power and a beautiful screen
25 March 2024

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro (14", Core Ultra 7, 16GB, 512GB model) for just over a week now, replacing my previous laptop and I am so far really liking it.It looks and feels the part with a classy, premium and sleek design. The keyboard and large track pad both feel excellent, with the right level of tactility, height and overall feel when typing and scrolling, the OLED screen is beautiful with an effective anti-reflection coasting that seems to be working well in bright light environments and the form factor is nice and compact for great portability. In terms of power, it’s overall very good. I use this for work purposes, and when under heavy load with several browser tabs, spreadsheets and Teams (particularly during video screen share), the performance can lag slightly. Overall , the performance is fast, snappy and smooth. This is not a gaming laptop, but I did test it out with some games to see how the new Intel Core Ultra 7 (155H) performs with its integrated Arc Graphics. It actually worked surprisingly well with the games I tested out. No Ultra settings or FPS that will push the beautiful 120Hz HDR supporting screen, but respectable and playable Medium settings 40-60 FPS is possible here. Impressive for such a compact, non-gaming laptop and games graphics look beautiful with this OLED screen. If you are consuming video or graphic content, you are in for a treat - visuals look crisp, detailed and colours pop. It’s also a touch screen which I love. The sound quality is also very impressive with no flat sounds or crushed tones. This was something I was concerned about with its down firing speakers but it’s been great so far so no complaints here. One design criticism that irks me is the location of the vents that are across the upper middle area of the bottom that will heat up your lap.Overall, I really like the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 14" and it will be my main portable computing main driver for the foreseeable future. This would be a perfect compact laptop if a version with a dedicated more powerful GPU option could be added to let the beautiful OLED screen with its 120hz capability really shine.Highly recommended for power work users, especially those who are always on the go, work remotely or travel a lot and want a premium, high spec and portable laptop that’s a joy to use.

[Rewarded Review] Premium upgrade option from its predecessor
19 March 2024

I had been using Samsung Galaxy Book3 previously, so was familiar with its sleek exterior design and the muted colouring. The biggest difference that I noticed at first glance was the display screen. Despite the OLED screen being crisp and sharp, the screen on Galaxy Book3 had a mirror-like quality, which has been a constant bother. However, Galaxy Book4 had this amended with its anti-reflection panel, so I had no trouble using the laptop in bright environments, whether this be by the window at home, cafe or airport.Another big change was the touchscreen function - this is definitely one thing I did not know that I needed in my life! It's very smooth and responsive (clearly 120Hz helps) and I've been having much fun casually moving things across with ease. It's very smooth and responsive (clearly 120Hz helps) and I've been having much fun casually moving things across with ease. I also noted that the bezels were not separate plastic bezels like Book3, but one integrated glass, giving it a much more premium finish. The only downside was the slight increase of weight from 1.17kg to 1.23kg as I do carry this laptop around frequently. Having said that, the battery lasts rather well so I'm not constantly worrying about having to find a charging point.I had noticed that it had the new Intel processor and it does seem to show in how smooth the laptop runs (though I am not a gamer and more of a work user, I do have a fair few browsers, tabs, Word docs, PDFs and Excel sheets constantly open) and how quiet it is overall.I also appreciate the decent keyboard, the keys feel nice and there is sufficient travel so that I do not feel the need to have a separate keyboard, especially when travelling. All in all, very chuffed with this purchase - it was a very worthy upgrade!

[Rewarded Review] Superb laptop with a galaxy of features

The galaxy book4 pro offers a compelling mix of power, longevity and portability, wrapped up in a premium metal design with a stunning display. On opening the Book4 Pro, you're presented with a minimalist design distinguished only by a Samsung logo atop a fingerprint proof svelte shell. Included in the box is an impossibly compact travel charger and USB cable that provides enough power for a light day of use in under an hour of charge. One of the main reasons I went with the Book4 Pro was the AMOLED display and I have to say it's absolutely stunning, capable of smooth HDR movies, superb colour accuracy and reflection free clarity when on the go.Coming to the software, I'm usually not a fan of third party skins and software. However, Samsung have clearly been applying a few principles of great user experience from their android phones, providing the perfect balance of useful software that offers unique functionality while integrating smoothly with Windows OS and Microsoft suite. As a result the laptop offers a 'best of both worlds' of reliable Windows programmmes, with access to Samsung's ecosystem, including extending your screen if you have a samsung tablet, and even operating your phone from your desktop. The Book4 comes with enough power to cover almost all potential use cases other than perhaps gaming. This includes a future proofed chipset with AI processing capabilities built in, and while I haven't had a chance to use it, it's nice to know that as AI becomes increasingly important to workflow (or funflow!) the laptop will be able to support it.Overall, the Book4 Pro is a difficult to fault, over performer that comes with all the bells and whistles. If you're in the market for a cutting edge and premium ultra light, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Book4 Pro!
