I bought this Chromebook as a secondary device for when I'm out of the house, because it is 4gLTE capable which means I have connectivity everywhere I go. I just purchase a ChromeBook. Chromebook offers security, free from ads pop-up and ease of using for personal & business use. In my old system I had to purchase security packages to prevent hackers & pop-ups. This still did not work, I was getting pop-ups & hackers and it was annoying. My Chrome Book has provided me with the peace of mind of doing my on-line banking, etc on line. It has also saved me $$ from purchasing the security from Microsoft and other security software. I no longer need to purchase these security software. My Chromebook has been a life saver for my & family. I Highly recommend this Chromebook..BJ is the Best!!!!

I wish I had never taken advantage of the free Chromebook with the sign up offer for Verizon Internet.I've been with Verizon for decades and have really been disappointed with the customer service. The Chromebook should be free but I still see the charge on my account. This is after 3 calls. One was one hour and a half long. Very upset.
I have been using an hp but with Chrome overriding all the functions. Now life is so simple using a Chromebook. No faffing about with files, storage, flicking to the wrong search engine.A great machine for someone like me who does not want to get tekkie or do anything complicated, just email, do my banking, occasionally stream, and download music.Good clear screen. Solid feeling keyboard which is not too clicky.Tiny issue with the side slider for scrolling down which sometimes does not appear, but I have started to use the up and down keys instead.
The screen is back to the 80s! And it flickers... the keyboard have no light therefore if your trying to write in the dark you better have blind type skills. On top of it being the most uncomfortable keypad.The sensitivity of the touch pad “mouse “ is even worst! I absolutely do not recommend getting this piece of garbage! I regret every second of it! Then I tried to return it and VZ will not unswear my phone! This is the worst experience ever! It dosnt even have a hot spot! And it flickering all the time even if you slightly moved. I can’t believe I bought it! And will never ever buy any galaxy products. I highly recommend not getting this laptop. I only got it because it was a free reward, but I see now I should have gotten the other reward. Honestly, Verizon should pay you to use this laptop. You can’t download hardly anything on it. No pc games will work on this, unless it works with their program. Every time I tried to use it for something I was met with a million popups saying you can’t play this or you can’t download this. Save yourself some time and look at another laptop. I ended up bringing to Best Buy in hopes of getting something back for it and ended up giving it to them to get recycled for nothing.
After set-up I attempted to register my device with Samsung to start my warranty coverage. Once I completed this process, the confirmation message I received stated that the warranty had expired on 10/31/2022. The rep I spoke to from Samsung stated that the serial number for the 14" Chromebook hat I purchased in July 2023 had previously been purchased and registered on 10/31/2021. Therefore, what I purchased was either a refurbished or returned Chromebook not a new product and that basically I had no warranty. I am returning this to BJs as I was expecting that I was buying a new product.
I really like how solid the Samsung Chromebook is the keyboard doesn't bounce like some of the others and it just feels solid I found it was a very capable machine and it accepts a lot of apps that are in the Google Store. However there are two shortcomings that I couldn't get around one it doesn't have a backlit keyboard which makes it very hard to work unless you have are sitting next to a light shining on your keyboard and two unlike Android phones and tablets it will not accept Microsoft Office. Those two things force me to take it back.
Using this laptop always feels like a lot of work because it loads everything very slow, whether you are clicking a button on the screen and it needs to direct you to a different page, or even just web browsing. Keep this in mind, as it does only have 4 gb of ram, but I got it from the verizon sign up offer so I will likely use it to leave a show playing. It is lightweight which is a benefit, although it isn't very strong. It can be a backup to have for things like working on a document for example, but other than that, not really.
