I Only write reviews of products ive owned for a few Months, This Note 20 Ultra has been an amazing device, and on the whole exceeded my initial expectations. This is worked hard, regularly using Dex, Microsoft Word & Excel flawlessly , I do tons of work on Evernote too with complex notes , .pdf editing etc. The camera is also used hard for work purposes, some days I can take in excess of a hundred photos - edit on the go, ad annotations with the S-pen. Where do I start with the screen? Its just simply gorgeous, even now after owning after a year I still marvel at the screen quality, the way it feels in your hand , the way it wraps around the edges - for me anyway makes it a very special experience. What else has also impressed me, is how there have been continual improvement & benefits with the updates. The camera has coped well with most situations, could do with an improvement in lower lighting conditions Maybee , and a Macro mode would be great. The build quality is top notch - this is important to me being mobile, the device still looks excellent. Music sounds great, and even the onboard speakers are fine! - A refreshing change! - Ok so nothing is ever totally perfect, so here's my slight negatives.Finger Print Scanner can be troublesome, I will say though the security is superb as no one has ever been able to unlock it using their fingers! The issue is mine tend to be trouble some at times, I find deleting all the stored ones helps & starting again. Better Face ID , this again has been a little troublesome at times-I feel a 3D Scanner would solve this? However then may sacrifice the screen? I 100 percent recommend this device , simply superb as a business tool.

I bought a note 9 512gb 3 years ago but unfortunately due to my case from Amazon not being able to keep it safe like advertised it began to get alot of cracks and curved screens aren't cheap to replace. I was forced to upgrade and this phone looked like a good direct replacement. So far it has been. It came with a usbc to usbc adapter to transfer all that 512gb of internal storage from one phone to another. It was pretty cool to see that it also was able to charge my note 9 battery when it started getting lower during the transfer. One thing I was worried about was not having an aux port. It came with usbc headphones so that solved that issue temporarily but it looks like I may have to update many of my older audio devices to Bluetooth or usbc. This phone seems to be much much quicker than my note 9, the camera in general has some better features and works a bit better including the crazy zoom which comes in handy. But I think most importantly it's got the note pen. As an artist I frequently have ideas at the most inconvenient times. One thing I always have is my phone. So being able to pull out a pen and paper any time anywhere and sketch an idea without having to look for a pen and paper so that I don't forget is the reason I refuse to get any other phone. I hope theycontinue on with the series in the future otherwise I'll be using this one for a long long time. But I would be OK with that. Also do yourself a favor and get a mous case if you need something rugged. Their screen protectors are also amazing although they're a little pricey. This case is already much more convenient and feels better made than otterbox cases as of late.

I've had this phone over a month now and I have zero complaints. The phone was as advertised, new in box, clean IMEI, and flawless. I had no issue activating with my wireless carrier and the phone has been better than expected. Battery life is several days with normal usage (calls, text, random notifications, occasional web browsing, limited social media access), the interface is user friendly, and storage is sufficient. I do have a 256 GB micro SD card installed and try to make sure apps and other things get stored there first. Pleasantly surprised and very grateful I have been receiving several updates since activating meaning I am up to date with Android and security patches. Hopefully won't be needing to upgrade to a different device in at least a year or two. I ... MoreI've had this phone over a month now and I have zero complaints. Only had it a week now, but like it so far. I had to replace my note 9 before crackscreen went blackscreen. I have 3 other note series phones I can't get into because of this. Data locked away in a phone nobody can get into without spending an unreasonable amount of money or knowing somebody who knows somebody. I'm stuck on this series though. Too bad it got handed over to the s-boys. Maybe they'll make it better for all. I hope this phone lives up to its "legendary" reputation. As long as the screen stays unharmed I'll be happy. I had to go to great lengths to keep predecessors' screens intact. For a note, the screen is it's soul. Breaking it is the same as destroying the whole phone kinda like wrecking a vehicle where all the airbags deploy and frame is bent. It's ... MoreOnly had it a week now, but like it so far. I had to go to great lengths to keep predecessors' screens intact. For a note, the screen is it's soul. Breaking it is the same as destroying the whole phone kinda like wrecking a vehicle where all the airbags deploy and frame is bent. It's totaled. I hope this one holds up. It's awful thin and large though, which is why I waited and shopped for a nice refurbished one so I don't get my soul crushed if something bad happens like my note 9 on day 6 with a pre-order new release unit. At least I had geek squad, but I do not recommend them in general. They try to total a note regardless of the issue in my experience. I like the idea of using the toughest glass and waterproofing, but waiting until the very last model to do so seems quite strategic. Of course my 9's were supposed to have the toughest glass available at the time, but still broke 3 of them too easily in my opinion. I'm still on board though...it IS the last of it's official line so why not? I've been here since the beginning so I may as well ride it to the end.
I bought this phone in 2021 when my s9+ started lagging so this phone was a ideal replacement for me since I didn't liked that samsung removed Micro-sd card on their new line ups. The phone itself performs great,no lags, the gorilla glass is honestly the best I've used this phone without screen protector and there is not a single scratch on the screen. The battery could be a little better since on full charge I can only use it up to 7-8 hours. I could reccomend this phone if u are looking for a last samsung flagship phone that has all the bells and whistles and micro SD card. My only gripe is that they didn't sell more version with different color and storage. Overall highly reccomend it!
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra phone I ordered to replace a treasured but dated Galaxy Note 9 came in a plain box with a generic charger, but otherwise looked brand new. The front glass and back of the device were flawless. I love my new phone! Setup proceeded just like a new phone, and it works perfectly on T-Mobile's network. I love that swapping 20,000 photos from the old phone to new was as easy as ejecting and reinserting a microSD card! I had purchased a brand new Samsung A53, but ended up returning it and buying this 2 year old Galaxy Note20 Ultra because I just couldn't get used to the smaller screen, missing S Pen, lack of wireless charging, etc. on the A53. Battery life is just OK, not noticeably better than my 4 year old Note 9.
Pros: You can write with the stylus and the phone converts it to print. Has up to date OS and does all the newer apps in an accurate, timely manner. I have had no problem pairing/syncing it with my other devices. Performs wireless charging. Cons: I have a problem texting with my fingers. My old Note 8 worked great with the stylus but this model does not. There are 3 keys this will not react to the stylus in spite of a "fix" published by Samsung. My Note 8 became obsolete or I would still use it. The typing with the stylus was outstanding.
Have been a Note20 Ultra user for a year now and this phone rarely disappoints. I read some of the other reviews and don't fully agree. Previously, I didn't use the finger print scanner. After reading the reviews, I enabled it and continued setup until it was 100%. I then locked and unlocked the phone (face not in view of the camera) 10 times in a row using the same thumb from different sides of the phone and even upside down. I am using a gorilla class screen protector that is a pain keeping clean. I added the left thumb and this time I did receive two notifications the finger print doesn't match but the second touch worked.Camera wise this phone is a homerun. Just the other night my wife was trying to take pictures of the moon on her iPhone 12 and getting frustrated she couldn't zoom in well. I said my standard joke, let me use a real phone and the zoom in capability was incredible. One night at a church meeting, two friends (iPhone and another Android users) were struggling to get their phones connected to a church TV to view a meeting agenda. My Note connected in seconds and open the MSWord file with ease. The connection stayed solid for 1.5 hours and only loss a few percent of battery life.In all fairness, I do watch videos all of the time but I am not a gamer so I can't evaluate speed or reaction time. Last week two fellow coworkers (another iPhone and Android users) were try to access a YouTube video (all three of us are Verizon users) with limited success. I asked for the search parameters and connected on my phone which was further away from the window than theirs. The Note20 Ultra used by others may be a pain but mine has showed out a few times and made me happy I purchased this over priced phone.
Pretty good phone. The last of an era. It works well with a few exception. The battery is brutal. It drains really quickly and when it's at 10 percent run for your charger. I bought an unlocked version and certain features like RCS messaging and video calling doesn't work with ATT. I wish I'd known that before. Had to install Duo for video calling, but only works with others that have Duo. There's a weird glitch where sometimes the phone will just randomly start playing music out loud even when no buttons are pressed and the volume is muted. This makes for fun/embarrassing times during work meetings. I still haven't pinpointed what that is, but it happens really infrequently. I believe it''s related to the bluetooth connection since it only happens if I'd been ... MorePretty good phone. The last of an era. It works well with a few exception. The battery is brutal. As a plus, the image is beautiful, as with all Samsungs. Also, the camera is beyond amazing. That zoom is unbelievable. Overall I'm glad to have this one with expandable storage and some of the features that I've always loved in Note phones.
I purchased this phone 5 months ago to replace my note8. I was happy at first but the new fingerprint scanner and facial recognition is absolute garbage. I have reset and relearned this device 6 times over. By all means if you work in an invironment where your hands will have no precipation or dirt on them it will be ok, but if you have to wear a hat, or beanie or hoodie to stay warm. It wont recognize you. You will have to enter your password every single time you use the phone. An average american uses their phone 30 times a day, most use it more. The note8 had a scanner on the back of the phone which made it easy to unlock, use and put away. I rarely had issues with it but its now an everyday curse to use this thing. If the next note has the same setup, for the first time in 11 years, ill switch to a better device. Also, i contacted support. I tried to relay the same information and they ended the call, i was not demeaning, aggressive nor ill spoken to the individual. I was only trying to fix the issue. Customer care for the first time of needing it, wow.... i also like the fact the page becomes unresponsive when you attempt to leave
