Samsung Galaxy Ring (13, Titanium Black)

This has been the highlight of my Samsung purchases this year (aside from my Bespoke Washer and Dryer,lol)! The convenience it offers for tracking all things health related is phenomenonal. The the data and charts are simple enough for anyone to understand and the items tracked are beneficial. The flexibility with goal setting in Samsung Health App paired with the Ring helps gain a good deal of insight into your overall sleep habits and fitness activities. And for those who call out that it only tracks Walking and Running, other activities can be added manually within the App, so you still receive credit for the workouts. I've worn it nonstop since purchase and only taken it off to charge. I wash my hands in it and shower, not a problem to report. Samsung did it AGAIN! Loyal customer for many more years to come..

The ring itself is great. Very lightweight but still feel durable. I've been wearing to a month and it shows no signs of wear and I wear it while washing my hands and applying hand sanitizer. I do take it off to shower. I just place it in the charging box while I'm showering. This system works well and I've only had to charge it once outside this for about an hour.The app leaves a little to be desired. The ring does not know when you fall asleep-- it knows when you get in bed. I bought it mainly to track my sleep but I read in bed every night for about an hour before falling asleep. The ring will think I'm sleeping that whole time and I often wake up to alerts that I slept too long or went to bed too early even though I was up reading.It also doesn't ... MoreThe ring itself is great. The ring will think I'm sleeping that whole time and I often wake up to alerts that I slept too long or went to bed too early even though I was up reading.It also doesn't continuously track heartrate, only every 10 mins. So if you are doing some high intensity short workout, it can sometimes completely miss that.I was also interested in it for the cycle tracking. I've only had it for about a month, but so far I'm not impressed. It says it uses your temperature to predict ovulation, but it definitely is just counting days. The temperature data is all over the place and I can't see any pattern to it to indicate different phases. Maybe this will level out over a few months, but so far this feature doesn't offer anything I could easily track myself.I know this sounded a bit negative, but I am happy with the ring and hopeful that Samsung will make updates to the app software in the future!

The case is gorgeous too. Sizing was accurate to the kit.The ring is accurate enough, but it could be better. It claims my blood oxygen drops below 85% at night, which can't be true unless I am dying in my sleep (I am not). The step tracking is also very sensitive, which causes anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand false steps. The heart rate sensor seems to work as it should, the stress tracking is pretty accurate, and the skin temperature sensor also seems accurate.Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase, even with the inaccuracies in the tracking. If you use this with a Galaxy Watch, it'll probably report more accurate metrics. On its own, though, it's still great for a first-gen product.
