I'm not sure what the battery life should be like for an S10+, and it's also complicated by background apps draining the battery and the fact that my phone had a couple of issues that prompted a return. I'm waiting for the replacement now. This phone was SO much better than my LG K30 in so many different ways and, aside from the issue of my video and pictures were not saved consistently to the place I'd designated and the issues that prompted the return (overheating while using certain apps, the fingerprint scanner didn't always work that well, and the accidental touch prevention being both useless and sometimes interfering with intentional touches), it was such a pleasure to have. The only other criticism I have of this product is that it's hard to pick it up ... The only other criticism I have of this product is that it's hard to pick it up without accidentally touching the screen, so I often cause things to happen that I didn't want/intend. As with other companies' voice-activated assistants (Alexa, Cortana, Siri, etc.), Bixby tends to turn on when not summoned. I definitely do not appreciate being forced into an agreement by Samsung when I first turned the phone on that seemed to state that the phone wasn't really mine, and I had to accept that or return it. Overall, though, it's a really nice phone.

I got the S10+ the day it came out. I think the phone it was replacing was the S4. I have a tendency to take really good care of my phones and hold onto them until there's a dire need to upgrade them or the technology is far outdated. Four years later and this one is still probably more than I need. I might even be emotionally attached a bit. Haha. I'm not a fan of new phones and relearning everything, but I'm sure it'll happen in the next couple years. I've never even cracked a screen so for me to replace it something really fancy needs to come along. I still only use 36GB of my storage after all these years. It's a great phone as most Androids are. As long as it keeps running my Influenster efficiently then I'm all good. 👍

With this phone, I enjoy the amazing battery life, I can store thousands and thousands of pictures, files, apps, anything!! I also love the size of the phone as a whole, the s10 is the perfect size to hold with one hand or stick in your pant pocket. It's not big or bulky one bit. It's sleek, streamlined design makes it excellent for busy people on the go, who don't want to worry about dropping or losing their most important necessity, their phone of course! I must mention the battery life is also exceptional! I've has this phone for about 3 years now and it hasn't let me down once in the battery or store category!! The wide screen makes it great to watch movies or even type a resume if needed! All in all, this is a fast and efficient device I'd recommend to anyone. ... The only thing I would say takes off a star is the glass of the screen, it's actually cracked three times now, the first two of which had actually made the phone completely shut off and I almost lost everything on it!!! 😵 I've had to get the phone screen professionally replaced. I have no idea how it even keeps cracking, I'm extremely careful with my phone and it never gets hit on anything. I think the screen has a weak spot on the curve of the screen by thr side buttons, because it always cracks in that same area. Samsung, I hope you fix this issue in newer models. I've had this phone for 3 years now and I still love it. I can't say I've ever left a review for a phone though so I'll do my best. Camera wise, my best experience yet. There are so many options to explore, I greatly appreciate it as a photography / videography enthusiast. It's one of the features that truly stops my from switching over to the iPhone. Audio quality is great too, I personally find it more impressive than my last LG phone and friends' iPhones. Not to mention the battery life! I've appreciated all the little things (some that have come with updates) such as the hover swiping, false unlock protection, and vast amount of widgets. I know this isn't exclusive to this phone, and I immediately deactivated it but, Bixby needs to go or get a massive overhaul. ... MoreI've had this phone for 3 years now and I still love it. I definitely need to give it a good clean (digitally) to make sure it continues to run as well as it has considering how all the newer models of all the flagship phones have removed the ability to expand memory. That's a real shame! Otherwise, I've been very pleased with this one.
The S10 main camera is much better than that of S5, especially for video. Well, and I did think S5 camera was pretty good. The other cameras are not up to much in low light. The pro mode cannot use the long lense. Brilliant easy-to-use foto editing facilities, amazing for straightening out photos of paintings from museums and levelling the sea. It still has a headphone socket! The battery is not too bad (of course, unlike with S5, you cannot change the battery, so with S10 you need to carry a battery bank). Not possible to set a quietish early alarm 3 minutes before the noisy alarm (so as not to wake up everyone else in the house) - S5 had it. I think it was stupid of Samsung to get rid of it - it would have cost nothing to have this function. The ringtones offered ... I think it was stupid of Samsung to get rid of it - it would have cost nothing to have this function. The ringtones offered by Samsung are rubbish (don't bother trying to find a reasonable one) but it does not really matter as you can easily use your own audio file with some cool music instead. With S10 you can set an alarm for a particular date in the future (like with an old Nokia) - for some reason S5 did not have it. With Virgin SIM from the UK, the S5 phones no longer work for roaming in the EU but the S10 does. Is it time to upgrade from S5? For me, it certainly was. But if you are not into fotos and don't use Virgin to roam, probably not essential.
My first S10+ developed a display issue after about 3 years..it was still working, but the display all of a sudden, started to fade out..like a washed out look to it. Not bright and clear like it usually was. Colors were wrong and the display had light streaks all over it. I loved the phone and debated getting one of the newer ones..a 21 or 22..but I was already familiar with the 10, so I just got another one. They are at a pretty good price now since they are older..even the new ones. New ones will get harder to find as time goes on of course, but for now, they are around. These have great cameras! Easy to set up and use and all the features I'd ever want. I'm not a big phone person..I don't play games, not into TikTok, Instagram, or the other social media ... I'm not a big phone person..I don't play games, not into TikTok, Instagram, or the other social media platforms..I just call, text and take photos mainly. I use a lot of the other features of the phone..I just don't use it extensively or constantly. Battery life is good for me, but if one uses it for gaming or such and heavily uses it, it won't last long of course. Remember, these Samsung phones are not very easy to get into. They require heating up the case along the edges to separate if any work needs to be done inside. Displays are great! Very vivid!
Out of the close to 70 cellular phones I've gone through since 1999 and various brands the Galaxy S10 is the only phone that has a screen that I haven't broken. All I've had for protection is a generic otterbox and no name screen protector. I've had this phone for almost 3 years and was purchased through a third party. Everything from data to storage and overall functionality is quite stellar. I work in the auto body collision repair and refinishing technology industry so every day this thing "goes to war" I' can't even begin to recount how many times it's been dropped or has been covered in body filler dust or the one time I dropped it in my wet sand bucket and came out of the battle like Rambo. All in all hands down this is my favorite device of all time
The bad;The finger print recognition is awful, (though slightly better since a recent update)The facial recognition almost never works.Digging around the Android store to get apps that dont come with constant advertisingis a nightmare, and the ones that can be found that are paid, are considerably more expensive then anything on the Apple App Store.Very sluggish response, in every day use, and the phone froze on me twice. My 5 year old iPhone is considerably faster. The Pros; It's a phone and that works. The camera is pretty decent.Having an old fashioned headphone jack is great.Being able to run almost any software is nice. However, I still haven't decided/figured out if its contributed to stabilityissues or not.The phones browser is flexible.
I have bought from Music Magpie before but usually go for the "Pristine" options. I was a bit wary of choosing the "Good" option on this occasion, but needn't have worried. I am very pleased with the S10+ I received. There are some very slight scuff marks on the back but the edges and screen are perfect. I went for the S10+ as it has one of the largest and brightest screens available. This was primarily for use with a DJI Mini2 drone, as my old LG G4 screen was difficult to see in bright sunlight. Sadly not had a really bright day to test this one with, but I'm sure it will be a great improvement. Battery life seems very good too and I have used the dual SIM facility so I no longer have to carry around my work phone and my personal one. Face unlock seems to work ... Face unlock seems to work well as does fingerprint recognition. However, I haven't had much success using the fingerprint option with a screen protector. I have tired all the "fixes" to get this to work and the protector is thinner where the sensor is mounted, but it just won't register new fingerprints. Just something to bear in mind if you like glass screen protectors - maybe the plastic film ones may be better? Overall though very pleased with this phone and the service from Music Magpie again.
NGL I was sooo excited to get this phone for $400 since my S9+ was slowing down. I thought that one generation up would be at least a bit better. I couldn't be more wrong. When the phone came, there were damaged OLED panels. Sago was very nice in exchanging me another one. But I realized there were still damaged OLED panels in other places on the screen. By the time I noticed, it was past the exchange window. The phone was in fact slower than my S9+, and didn't felt like it was in new condition. Even the packaging smelled strongly of chemicals. The only thing that was good was the newer camera. But even that was as slow as my old phone. The worst part is the fingerprint sensor. But that's not Sago's fault, but Samsungs. Just thought I'd bring it up.I recommend ... MoreNGL I was sooo excited to get this phone for $400 since my S9+ was slowing down. I thought that one generation up would be at least a bit better.
