Bought an S20 in June 2020 for 72k. Jan4th 2023 start getting a vertical pink line on the screen. What transpired after that was horrendous dealing with Samsung customer support:1. Asked me to bring in the phone twice and took pictures to upload to Samsung, no issues found 2. Funnily I was told that if I had come before 31st Dec, they had a scheme and would have replaced it free. My argument is the problem came 4 days later, and they need to be model driven and not date driven as I cannot anticipate that there is going to be an issue. They asked for 18000 to replace3. My argument is that if you look up the internet, so many people have reported this issue, Samsung should have done a recall. They do that in every deveoped country market. Indians are treated as ... I bought the Galaxy S20 UW 2 years ago (cloud pink) this is the best phone I have ever owned. I have never once had an issue with my phone. Not the speed or battery. Everything still works amazingly like the fest day I bought it. It has a long battery life. I get a full day to a full day 1/2 depending if I am using the phone heavily or not. The camera is very good, I didn't tweak with any of the settings but just from the standard settings it's very good! I don't take much pictures so this wasn't the selling point for me. Storage and a great processor with the bonus of great screen quality! I got all 3 with this phone. I do highly recommend this phone. I've actually recommended it to a few people already. That is another reason why I bought the galaxy phone. I will continue to buy Samsung Galaxy phones because I'm my opinion they are the best phone brand out there! I used to have a Moto Z² play and it wasn't a good phone, getting the Galaxy S20 is a HUGE upgrade and I'm very happy I made the switch!

I bought this phone because it has flagship specs and--with the release of the S21--it was cheaper than even higher-end mid-rangers (read, Pixel 5). It's a sleek and beautiful looking phone. I love that it's thicker than phones used to be and doesn't require a case to add bulk for it to be more comfortable to hold when I'm using it. And the battery life is phenomenal. Overall, I'm sure all the specs are great and I love the high-end screen (that's mostly why I wanted it), but it's a bit long in my opinion. It's good for fitting more icons per home screen, but it can be a little problematic when playing games. So far I've only played this one trucking game I love, but I definitely find it harder to handle on this phone than on my S6 Edge because the screen is so much ... So far I've only played this one trucking game I love, but I definitely find it harder to handle on this phone than on my S6 Edge because the screen is so much longer and has no bezels to rest my fingers on. As far as streaming goes, if the phone's too wide for the picture you just get black bars on the sides, which defeats the purpose of the larger screen. Frankly, I'd much prefer a shorter (and slightly wider) phone. But, my biggest complaint about this phone is the lack of control I have over how the proprietary software works. Between Verizon and Samsung, the phone is full of bloatware, and deleting these apps or removing their permissions is not allowed. Forexample, Bixby has been granted permission to use location, storage, camera, contacts, microphone and phone without any option for me to deny these permissions or remove Bixby altogether, even if I don't use it. It just says, "Device requires this permission to operate" for every one, which is a cop-out BS excuse by any measure, since literally every other non-Samsung Android phone can work without Bixby or its permissions. Likewise, I use my phone on Tracfone and I periodically get a notification that the SIM card is not a Verizon SIM card. Going into this notification's settings, the option to turn it off is greyed-out, so I am sentenced to dismissing this BS reminder every couple days for however many years I have this phone. And Google has this annoying requirement that if you use what they term a "secondary tier authentication modality" (i.e. the fingerprint reader), every 72 hours you will have to enter your password or passcode ("primary tier authentication modality") in order to unlock the phone, whether you want to or not, with no way to change or remove this requirement except for going with no security at all. They say it's for "additional security", but that's a BS excuse, too. Now, there is no doubt that I paid good money for this phone and I OWN it outright. As the owner of the hardware, I should have the ultimate say in how that hardware is used--not Google, not Samsung, not Verizon. Greyed-out permission toggles should never be allowed or tolerated. I have purposely avoided upgrading to a new phone for the last few years precisely because I didn't want to have to deal with this type of encroachment on my property rights and autonomy by Big Tech. The S20 may be an eye-dazzling powerhouse, but it's self-defeating shortcomings and outright disrespect of my personal space is a deal-breaker. I loved my S6 Edge, but with the changes Google has made to Android in the past few years and Samsung's insistence on polluting my phone with bloatware, this phone has single-handedly ruined Samsung and Android for me, and I will never again buy another Samsung phone. Maybe the Android experience is more amenable from a "less-bloated" manufacturer or on the pure-Android of a Google Pixel, but between Samsung and Verizon's hijacking my permission controls and Google's "Big Brother" approach to security, I think I'll dump this phone and get an iPhone...and I hate Apple.

I bought the Samsung s20 fe 4g in October last year. I regret wasting my money on this phone, there are constant issues and almost a year later the phone still manages to come up with different, new faults, wow. I really do not want to go back to Apple but guess I have no choice. Time to sacrifice 'appearance' and trendy cool android features to using an Apple phone that is more reliable in getting the important stuff right - for example, being able to answer calls and not have someone important like your family try to call you but reach your voice mail instead (why??), being able to hear the other person when you video call them through messenger app (this issue is recently new and is what's finally pushing me over the edge to switch back to Apple). Another issue with Samsung s20 fe is the adaptive brightness lighting constantly dims and brighten my screen for no reason at all despite my environment lighting not even changing. I've contact Samsung member support regarding this issue like 4 times and each time getting the same response - "this issue should be fixed with the next software update", but doesn't get fixed in the next software update. I have updated software each time a new update is available (3 times already). Please save yourselves your hard-earned money and buy an Apple product instead!
I used to be a huge Samsung fan but the s20 is a terrible phone compared to their past options. For starters the phone constantly gets what you're trying to relay both text and voice nearly 100 percent wrong every time. Then it switches to stuff not even making sense make you seem stupid constantly but it's really a reflection on how bad the software/phone is.You constantly have to stop the phone from sending emojis when you scroll through messages with some kind of feature that makes no sense. This phone has a lot of flash to get you to buy it but it functions worse than any phone I've ever used. The battery life doesn't even make it a full dayMight be software specific to the s20 but I'm going to be getting rid of this phone for a $50 one that works ... From the packing the phone came in to trying to activate it. I have had problems and have returned this phone. Firstly, the package this phone came in was not great. It came loose in a box that was too big for the phone. I could feel the phone hitting the sides of the box. I would think they would have secured the item a little better and not be free falling in the box. Even though this is a refurbished phone I’m still paying $400+ for it and that still a lot of money.Secondly, this phone is supposed to be unlocked, which means I can use any carrier. I was trying to activate Mint Mobile but I got the error of “Invalid Sim Card” after much trouble shooting with mint mobile they advised my phone must not be unlocked and I need to contact the manufacturer. I was trying to activate Mint Mobile but I got the error of “Invalid Sim Card” after much trouble shooting with mint mobile they advised my phone must not be unlocked and I need to contact the manufacturer. In the description of this phone listed on QVC is says to contact CCR Warranty for SIM card troubleshooting. I did and they have no idea what I was talking about, they said we are a warranty company we do not troubleshoot phones. After that I called QVC support, they advised I called Samsung. They were helpful and made a ticket for someone to call me back to unlock the phone. Although, no one called me back. At this point I packed the phone up for return. The general condition of the phone was good and like new. When I turn on the phone the AT&T logo flashes so that provider this phone is still connected too. Don’t waste your time on this phone.
Last couple phones have been Samsung, most recent was an S9. Overall I like their phones, and this one is just as good with a couple exceptions. The biggest issue I have is the fingerprint sensor, now on the front screen. I prefer tempered glass screen protectors, and the sensor does not work well with them. It is constantly telling me "fingerprint doesn't match." Yes, i scanned my print with the protector installed, and that was a project in and of itself. Second, there are not as many cases or protectors for this model as there is for the Ultra,FE, or Plus. I chose this phone because it is smaller and these items aren't as plentiful. Also the volume buttons got moved from the other side. Otherwise still a very good phone
So the phone has functionality that I like. Photos are good. The battery consumption is about average. App management is good. Updates have changed some functionality; that i don't like. I also don't like the idea of changing the appearance of icons that my mond looks for automatically after years of using and identifying them over several platforms. There are also some functions on this phone that never created an issue for me before; this phone and only this phone has activated the emergency calling 6 times now while having it stored in my breast pocket. And since about 3 updates ago when the major visual interfaces changed, it has started placing my calls on hold while pressed to my cheek/ear and there is no hold icon on the screen during calls. Have had it for over a year now and it just started doing this about 3 months ago after an update. They're going to have to do some major fixes in a near future update to win me back as a routine buyer; cut off conversations or having the local sheriff deputy show up to check on you when you're working is not good.
New condition at 1/4 of the MSRP. This is a solid premium device and THE best phone that I've ever owned. I don't look forward to upgrading this phone any time soon. 12GB RAM. 6.9 inch Gorilla glass Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1400 nits (peak) 114.0 cm2 with a 90% screen-to-body ratio! Expandable storage up to 1TB! This is unheard of even in today's 2022 phones. 100x Zoom camera, 8k videos, 4k quality pics, 5000 mAh battery AND a 3200x1440 display!!!! If you're not techy... This is a bad*** phone!!! This is the time to buy as this is Samsungs highest MSRP for any phone and you can get them at a lower price. Trust me, this is the phone to get. Totally an upgrade from my iPhone 12 pro! Apple could never produce this 120hz refresh rate!! Amazing
Love it, am really happy with it. The battery lasts the full day, even with the copious amount of gaming and phone catch up I've been doing. Only a couple of faint surface marks, just as stated could be. They aren't noticeable unless really search for them. It's amazing clicking on the camera & it opens straight away, The camera is also great. It's super light, and even though I have small hands, it's not too wide to be uncomfortable. I've been making do with a constantly draining, overheating phone with a faulty camera for over 4 years. I am more than please with this new phone of mine.
