Along with the minor upgrades like a more squared off design that feels great on the sides, a smoother flat screen, and a big one for me improved speaker performance.. you actually notice some low end now. It's the perfect phone for 2023. These phones are made very well these days, and even at the 20 Ultra I could see myself holding out. If you have been thinking about upgrading, or just want to lock in your 4 years of security updates like I did, this is a perfect phone. There is nothing to complain about.

This device is incredible.

Using my Samsung camera almost feels like using a professional DSLR or mirrorless camera because of the customizable camera features and striking quality. I use these features to take incredible pictures of everything from the Milky Way/night sky to portraits of my loved ones and time lapses of the clouds. For such a low price, no other company could possibly beat Samsung's edge on advanced technology and superior features. The under - display fingerprint sensor is lightning quick and very useful, and the overall design is very pleasing. To this day, even after having it for months, everytime I look at at my phone I notice how beautiful of a phone it is; it looks like a meticulously crafted expensive piece of jewelry. Others seem to think so, too, because I get compliments on it's look all the time. I don't understand why anyone would choose not to buy a Samsung phone because they're the best on the market, especially for their price. In fact, just yesterday one of my iPhone using friends' phone died, and when I showed her I could charge it with my phone by just putting their backs together using the power share feature, she was utterly shocked that such "futuristic" and "amazing" technology existed. She even said she wanted to buy a Samsung smartphone just for that feature. Little does she know, although, about the countless other amazing features that she would discover about Samsungs if she did so; features like Dolby Atmos, multi device connectivity in 'media output' settings, the highly customizable and adaptable Samsung keyboard, etc..Overall, the Galaxy S21 FE is an incredible phone that I highly recommend, especially for the price. In fact, I recommend any Samsung s-series or z-sries phone in general because you cant go wrong with them. The numberless unique features that you will continue to discover about your Samsung phone months later is only one of the many experiences Samung users get that its competitors don't. If you're a photographer, Samsung is definitely the best way to go as it has highly versatile camera features that other companies lack. You can never go wrong with a Samsung. All of the attached photos were taken by me on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G

Disappointed and frustrated 😠

I purchased the phone when it was first launched on Feb 8. Being an avid Samsung fan, I was so excited to have the phone that I was sure I'd fall in love with. The phone worked perfectly fine for the first 3 weeks. I loved it! So I brought the phone to the Samsung store, the technicians took a look and it seemed after a reboot, the problem fixed itself. I brought the device home and not even 2 hours after I had left the store, the problem occurred again. So I brought it back to the store, this time, same thing happened, the problem went away after rebooting. They told me it must be a 3rd party app that is interfering with the face ID, and that I needed to delete all of the unnecessary apps that I didn't use, because they were not sure which app was causing the problem 😑. So I went through each of my app and deleted the ones I didn't use like they said. They also told me I might have to reset my phone to default settings if the problem kept happening. I brought it home and the problem insisted. Now I'm exhausted and frustrated! All of the Samsung devices I'd had were working perfectly fine with all the apps I installed. The technicians can't do anything to fix it because they themselves are not even sure which app is causing the problem, so the only thing to do is to wipe my phone clean, which is really time consuming and redundant, because I'd end up installing the same apps anyway since they are neccessary in my daily life. Now, everytime the problem occurs, I'd have to restart my phone, and it'd only work perfectly for an hour or 2 after rebooting. I've been a Samsung user since 2010, this is the first time I feel so disappointed 😞! I don't even know what to do with the phone now, I paid a lot of money for something that doesn't work properly, that even Samsung technicians can't fix.

I've had mine only a week, and so far I love it. I traded in my 4 year old S9+, which I also loved, but only because the battery was getting weak. I thought of replacing its battery for $100, but I just couldn't refuse the deal Samsung is currently offering for a brand new S21 FE 5g. The S21 FE is exactly the same physical size as my old S9+ and both fit my hand perfectly, but somehow the FE has almost a quarter inch larger screen primarily at the top of the display. The SD865 CPU is plenty powerful, the 4500 mAh battery is a big plus, especially for me, and the guaranteed 4 years of OS support is unbeatable.I considered getting the S22 for only $100 more, but it had a slightly smaller battery and less screen real estate, so the S21 FE with 5g was the right phone ... MoreI've had mine only a week, and so far I love it. The plastic back is no issue since I always use a well-made, attractive case to protect my phones, and I've never cracked a phone screen anyway. (Watch - I probably just jinxed myself.)Overall, it's a very attractive phone with a beautiful display, excellent battery life and processing power, 5g connectivity, the perfect size for my hand, excellent triplet rear camera setup and 4 years of OS support. For almost 60% off its list price (with an extra Samsung coupon), how could I refuse this offer from Samsung? Unless you absolutely must have the S-Pen and/or the S22 Ultra, this S21 FE 5g is like an offer from Vito Corleone "that you just can't refuse".

Great quality phone! However, it could be better.

Samsung S22 Ultra is a great phone overall. The camera quality, built quality of the phone, the S pen, it has it all. However, I encountered some bugs. My system just crashed yesterday for no reason. My phone froze for 2 minutes and I got a pop up message saying " System UI isn't responding". Whenever I open YouTube and start a video, the video freezes at the beginning for a couple of seconds while the audio works normally, then the video catches up after a while. I went on the Samsung members app as well as a lot of online threads regarding these topics and I found a lot of people are having the same issues as me, so these issues are rather universal. I also wish the battery optimisation could be a bit better. For the price of this phone, I expected things to work ... MoreSamsung S22 Ultra is a great phone overall. For the price of this phone, I expected things to work around a bit smoother, however, I hope Samsung acknowles these issues and resolves them within the upcoming system updates. Once that is resolved this phone will be an even better beast. Smooth gaming. Smooth scrolling. High resolution screen and the camera quality is insane. I specially like the curved edges and the built in S-pen. I would still recommend this phone to everyone and I am looking forward to future updates!

In general and specifically, this phone is great and I am very happy I bought it. My past phone was Samsung A11 which experienced a serious issue with the network card. The S21 FE turned out to be very helpful and valuable since it costs almost $1000 after accessories and add-ons. The phone does get hot sometimes with high performance, but cools down in a few minutes. I would strongly recommend this phone to anyone who wants a low scale and value phone. They can also go for any phone in the S21 series which is best! And better than S21 is S22 series due to the software and security features it has. And of course the accessibility and productivity levels have been increased to a different level, more than any Apple phone. If you want better picture quality, just use the Remaster picture feature from Gallery and it will do a lot of things to make that picture attractive and ideal to be seen in general. For the past years, my parents have the A70 and A30 series phones and they still work whereas in Apple, it would be a bunch of issues with the motherboard or speaker or something else. Still strongly recommend the Samsung S21 or S22 series phones.

I upgraded from my s9 because I was charging my battery two or three times a day only to find that I need to charge my s21 FE 1 and 1/2 times a day. My wife and colleagues have Apple phones and after more use, watching video after video, they have 20%-30% more battery life at the end of the day than I do NOT watching videos, or playing battery draining games. What gives? Also, picture quality isn't as good as I expected. Took some pictures at a convention in low lighting (not really, really dark) and pictures came out grainy. I can't believe im saying this but My s9 took much better pictures in that kind of lighting.Otherwise it's a solid phone with a great display (unless you're in the sun... then it's hard to see anything.) I'm really enjoying the speed difference.I have to agree with some of the others here: I expected much more for the price and from Samsung. So far it's the worst of the Samsungs that I've had and thus is my 4th phone from them. I'm still within my 30 day trial period and as much as I hate to say it (because I can't stand Apple) I might have to switch. Better battery life and comparable bells and whistles at this price point. Sorry Samsung. I have been loyal to you all these years, but I might have to leave.

Samsung S21+ 5G is a decent phone

I got this several months ago and this is my second attempt to write this (darn blockers)I upgraded from a Samsung S*+ and the S21+ is, decent. The software for transferring from the old phone is great and is very solid. The phone itself, even without a case feels very solid. The interface can be a bit overwhelming at first in terms of setting up new tones and alarms, but how often do you really have to set those up? The low light camera is very impressive.I had put off updating for a long time because of the fingerprint scanner. The on screen scanner I was hesitant about, and my thoughts on it have been largely fulfilled. The old scanner was "mechanical" and seems far more robust. The on screen scanner I was hesitant about, and my thoughts on it have been largely fulfilled. The old scanner was "mechanical" and seems far more robust. The onscreen seems a bit finicky and your finger does not naturally go to the location, as the old one placed on the back of the phone did. It can often take several attempts to place your finger correctly to start the phone. Sure, it will tell you where to put your finger, but aside from that, I find it inconvenient. I know why they did it, for more camera space on the rear, but in all honesty, I bought a phone, not a camera, if I wanted one of those I would buy a camera.Overall, I am generally pleased with the phone, but I also miss the notification light on the front. It was handy and since I do not always have my phone glued to me, the flashing indicator was handy.Would I recommend it, sure, its decent. But overall, I feel it has lost more of the handy features they used to have than it gained, unless you shoot a lot of low light pictures.
