Loved this case for 7 months. A very clever and well executed design, great material (I got the white one and it never looks dirty, it doesn't slip, almost perfect — more on that later). I always buy the Samsung cases because their engineering is precise, very thoughtfully tuned to the phone's features and design details, and this one delivered. The naked phone's edges are vastly improved by this case; its fun to carry, feels good, looks good, goes right into your pocket yet has a flexible stand built in.Here's the rub: it lasted only about 6 months. That's longer than the (90d?) warranty, but it's clearly a materials flaw. I only used the phone indoors, no rough treatment. On the front, I noticed in the first week that simply removing the case and re-installing caused its frame to tear and chip.I'm giving it 4 stars because I was so in love with it at first. I'm considering buying it again, so soon, which is why I'm back to this store today. But the price being high as it is, has got me considering other options.

The rubber started peeling away instantly. Within 2 days I had lost the edge that protects the front screen from a fall. Samsung originally offered me a compensation voucher as they could not refund it because it had been 75 hours since purchase. This then resulted in the worst customer service experience of my life. 5 weeks later and this still isn't resolved. The experience alone has put me off ever using Samsung again.
