This is a very small Galaxy! It's not a great product at all. It has the potential but it has very little storage capacity. I can't really download apps without it slowing down basic functions. It takes forever to connect to any apps. I can't stream or video chat because it is so. Slow that it will loose the connection and shut down. On the plus side! It has great options for taking video and pictures. Great filters. Making phone calls are very difficult and most of the time will not connect. I have to charge it every hour depending on what I am using this device for. It was a Christmas gift from a older family member who does not know about phones. I was greatful. I only use this as a back up for the socials.

I absolutely love my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. Besides making calls and texting, I mainly use it for watch tv. The Galaxy S8 has a nice large, clear screen that measures 6 inches diagonally of full screen. The picture is clear and bright. The sound is also really good. I like that my Samsung S8 is powerful,I can charge it at night and my battery usually last 8 hours or more. It also takes pretty good pictures and screen shots. It works well with apps. I like to use the Influenster app and it works well, no crashes.

Meet the Galaxy S8 - Infinitely Brilliant! The Galaxy S8 has the world's first Infinity Screen, A screen without limits. The expansive display stretches from edge to edge, giving you the most amount of screen in the least amount of space. The revolutionary design of the Galaxy S8 begins from the inside out. We rethought every part of the phone's layout to break through the confines of the smartphone screen. So all you see is pure content and no bezel. It's the biggest, most immersive screen on a Galaxy smartphone of this size.

I really like this phone, upgraded from a comparatively ancient Note 2 and got it last week. The battery life lasts me a bit under two days using it normally with the "always on" screen feature, but there are some fancy-looking power saving modes that reduce some of the phone's functionality for significantly longer battery life. I haven't tested them yet though because it hasn't been necessary. I'm sad to see the S Pen go, it wasn't worth spending another $350 for the Note 8, but I'm impressed by how much smoother the screen looks and feels. The camera is also pretty reasonable. Low-light situations are pretty questionable, but for a phone it seems to do a decent job. The camera fares much better in bright indoor lights and outside. The S8 feels pretty light and a bit slick due to how much glass is used in its construction. It's a nice-looking phone, but after having dropped my old one and living with a cracked screen for two years, I took zero chances and put it in an Otterbox Defender case almost immediately. The software is also quite nice. There's no carrier bloatware on it so you don't have to spend half an hour trying to uninstall and disable apps that you'll never use, but it still comes with most of the basic apps you'll need. Samsung clearly put in a lot of effort on the overall aesthetics of the interface too. Overall no complaints. My carrier is Verizon and it was relatively painless to get the phone set up with them. I just went to one of their locations (not a third-party retailer) and they gave me a SIM card for free. I was alone during this so they texted a code to my parents and I called them via a landline phone at the store so they could read it me, and after punching that into the terminal the Verizon employee took care of the rest. I recommend using Google or Verizon's cloud backup or some other software (like Samsung Kies) to get your contacts BEFORE getting the new phone. I forgot to do that so I walked around for two days getting texts from disembodied numbers until I worked it out on my own. Set up backups NOW, my old phone's screen was completely broken (hence the new phone) and the only reason I was able to get my contacts off of it was because the S Pen digitizer was still functioning (but nothing else) so I could blindly punch in my PIN to unlock the phone.

I recently (within the past 2 years) switched back to apple. However, I used this phone until the wheels came off! I LOVED this phone. The design was very slim and sleek looking. Edgeless which made it easy to hold. But also easy to drop. I dropped this phone ALOT. The camera quality for this phone was great until something came out that was greater! That’s the thing with phones they are ever evolving so what is great this year could suck next year. But this phone really did hold up well. Obviously I was still on the 8 when the 20 came out 😂 so performance slowed over time but it did what it needed to do! The downside for this phone was the 7 had expandable storage and it lost that feature on the 8 but they brought it back with either the 9 or 10.

5 years and still going strong!

To be fair: I have a bit of a bias in strong favor of Samsung. This aside...I've had this phone since middle school (about 2018) and it's still working like a dream. Part of what made it last is that I have a good case on it - I'm a bit of a clumsy human, so it certainly has some scratches on the screen. It still is fast, even loaded with the amount of things I contain within. Only disadvantages that really come to mind: liquid screen protectors only (curved screen), and can't make group chats (but I think that's an Andriod thing). Also, the camera isn't too bad! It's fickle with Snapchat, but that was expected. It's worth noting (for the less tech-savvy) that it does have a fair amount of fancier features, but these can be disabled and ignored. Horrible experience

I ordered a refurbished phone November 9th knowing it meant there could be scratches on the screen. I received the phone, with a cracked screen on Nov 14. I immediately contacted the seller and started the return process. I was given the run around about the screen being cracked. They wanted pictures, sent pictures...Wanted more pictures of the whole screen, sent more pictures. I was given a label to finally return rhe product on November 18th...took it to a fed ex location and dropped it off. I have been goung back n forth for days now...still no phone! It is now December 5th and was told the package is lost but claim has to be filed by shipper. Shipper sent me a refund notice, but have to wait up to 5 more days! Extremely unhappy!!

the best phone ever

I bought 3 of these (yes 3) and they were really good. They had a 1440p display, can you imagine it? 1440p display for only 100 dollars. That is a great deal and the same resolution as current flagship phones like the s23 ultra. They also have a blood pressure and heart rate sensor on the back, which current flagships and normal phones like the s23, 15 pro max, don't have. talking about speed, they are fine for daily use, although they do get a little hot after some use. For 100 dollars, this is a great deal. The camera on the back is also really good, it is better than a 2023 iPhone SE, which costs 400 dollars. The front camera is not better than the 2023 iPhone SE though. You may be wondering, why I gave it a 4-star rating. As I said, I ordered 3 phones, and all 3 worked fine, except there was a speaker problem on one. The speaker sounded muffled compared to the other phones like someone had stuffed the phone in a cotton envelope. And in one of the phones, the battery was going down really fast (under 4 hours) and yes I know it is refurbished, but that is a pretty short time for a battery. The other phones had an OK battery life. it was 6-8 hours, and I forgot to mention that this phone had an always-on display too! And it had a good gaming performance, I could play Call of Duty on stable 60fps, Free Fire, pubg, and all those games on a stable 60 fps. I definitely recommend this phone to whoever reads this, it is a nice gift, or even for yourself.
