Samsung Galaxy S9 (64GB, Lilac Purple, Global Ver) - Refurbished - As New

Bought two Samsung phones with "excellent" condition tag. Among them one phone(Galaxy S9) is absolutely flawless. Looks like a brand new phone, runs smoothly and battery performance is as good as a new phone. The other phone(Galaxy s10) has minor scratches, not clearly visible, but the phone is functional. However it has a bug (related to hardware/software). The bug appears once in a while, so I can't say the phone is flawless.Overall, compared to the price the products are good and highly recommendable.

I have nothing but good things to say about this phone. Ive had it almost 5 years now and everything still works as it should. I like the size of the phone and how i can fit it in one hand. My screen always works and is very clear and also my phone is still very fast. My battery life after 5 years hasn't changed much but i feel like it used to be better but im in no way complaining because if i wake up in the morning and my phone is at 100% battery i can make it last all day if i don't use it excessively. The only downside to having this phone is cameras have gotten so much better since 2019 but thats not the phones fault and i still think it takes great photos. Below is a photo taken on my almost 5 year old galaxy s9.

There's a lot to love about this phone. It's sleek and has stunning graphics. I love the way the edges light up when you get notifications, not as distracting. It comes with various ring tones and camera features. I love the heartbeat feature and all the security features like iris and thumbprint recognition. I've had mine for over 5 years and it still works. There's been some issues like the thumbprint unlock feature no longer works because I got sweat in it and I had to turn it off because my phone kept shutting off bu itself everytime I used it. It's stopped updating because Samsung wants me to get a new phone and the battery drains super fast. I like the double camera feature, but do wish it was a little higher quality, when I zoom in on things it gets very ... MoreThere's a lot to love about this phone. I also really like It's waterproof. Boy has that come in handy. Overall, I like this phone and would get another, newer model.

Great unlocked phone, works with different SIM cards, weak battery My workplace issued me an identical Samsung Galaxy S9 three years ago. It is still going strong but locked into ATT. I purchased this used, unlocked S9 for personal use in Europe with a local SIM card. It works great for that. The screen has no scratch, and the light burn-in is hardly noticeable. The previous owner probably did not take good care of the battery because it runs down a lot faster than my work phone, even in airplane mode with WiFi only. Have to charge up every day. It's easy-to-use to do with a wireless charging pad.
I got my phone on 2 year contract with Sprint before the T-Mobile merger finalized during a President's Day Sale. After all the awesome discounts plus free Hulu with ads for as long as I have this phone, I ultimately got this phone for free plus got discount on my Sprint bill for the duration of the 2 year discount. No more bill discounts but still got my perks. This screen is tough! I can't tell you how many times I have dropped this phone while in its protective case which can't 100% protect the screen because of Samsung Galaxy screen curving up away from bevel giving it that vulnerable exposure. I don't have a screen protector and screen is virtually scratch free except for a crack in the corner. The absolute worst my phone survived was when I down a flight of ... MoreI got my phone on 2 year contract with Sprint before the T-Mobile merger finalized during a President's Day Sale. I don't have a screen protector and screen is virtually scratch free except for a crack in the corner. The absolute worst my phone survived was when I down a flight of concrete stairs, phone in hand with the case wide open resulting in the screen taking impacts from concrete. Battery life is OK. You have to teach this phone how to save power and manage apps which is a let down compared to the S7's device manager which performed way better. Not a fan of Bixby. She isn't bright for an AI assistant and is a dumb memory devouring program that leaves you wanting to use Google Assistant instead, because I swear no matter how times I update Bixby it may ask me to install more modules before it finally does a task I gave it. By the way, my Bixby ease drops on conversations but sleeps when I do say her name. Back to what I love... streaming Crunchy Roll, Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube, Sirius, and Spotify all worked effortlessly on this phone. Great sound and graphics and I can always blow the screen up large on TV with my family's Chromecast wirelessly. Bluetooth devices work great, even used an endoscope. Camera performance is at the mercy of Samsung software updates. At 1st I thought camera only a little better than my S7 but it is actually a whole lot better! Last few program updates unlocked true potential of camera. I even watched video tutorials from Samsung for achieving best results with photography with phone. Actually that is another nice feature is the new tips that occasionally pop up to teach you more about using your S9 and updated features. Looking to upgrade to S21 or S22.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 is a great phone, but one that didn't really kick on from the Galaxy S8, bringing a very similar design and screen to 2017's version. My first Samsung phone after owning several iPhones. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is superior to all of the iPhones I've had. I've owned this Samsung phone since 2018 and it is still well and running in 2022 (almost 2023). I love the fact that it has Microsoft Office preinstalled. This phone has been super useful for me while I was in University due to being able to make last minute Word document modifications prior to handing in an assignment or project online/when I did not have my laptop handy. It's also excellent for opening up all sorts of Microsoft Office and PDF files, which does not always work with iPhones. Another convenient aspect of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is that I was able to add an SSD card to expand the memory, which is not possible to do with an iPhone and some other Samsung phones. I must say that it has slightly slowed down over the years but that it is still running quick and smothly. The camera is not the best. People also cannot hear me well when I put them on speakphone. Despite this, 10/10 recommend and will not switch back to iPhone.
I had the S3 before I bought this so it was a huge leap in quality for me, the processor speed is great and the user interface is intuitive, organised, very pretty and there are a tonne of themes created for it. It is great for mobile gaming with a large and clear screen, camera is amazingly clear and many photo editing options made simple and easy to use, great for social media sites like facebook and other apps, a particular personal favourite is the Samsung pay app which works a charm and so convenient. Only con is the battery life but the S3 didn't last much longer but the S9 charges quicker so there's a trade off, I recommend this to any Samsung user/fan or just anyone looking for an easy to use mobile for every day calls and texts. My opinion and experience: -its great, I love it, everytime when I finish work I can't wait to use it, I can't wait to play music on it, watch YouTube and Netflix on it, and play games. It's honestly a great phone and well worth the cost. If you aren't wanting to spend that much for this phone, then get the s8, it's got 90% of this phones features. But what made me go for this phone was the improved camera, moved fingerprint scanner location, much improved speaker, and a smoother, quicker software. battery is actually probably the worst feature of this phone, by no means is it bad, but its not great. The fast charging makes up for it though. Display is very bright, colours pop, clear images. This phone is great to watch videos and play games on. Almost everyone I hang out with or am around will always mention how nice my display is. Hardware durability - it really feels like a premium and expensive device. It has a headphone jack, AMAZING speakers, USB type C, expandable storage, finger print sensor etc. With the all glass design it can cause fingerprints easy and can be slippery, and this means it's probably more prone to breaking than other phones, so recommend getting a case and perhaps a screen protector too. solid software-wise, the Samsung skin has really come along nicely and is quite responsive and quick, although there are the occasional hiccups or bumpy moments when multitasking through apps or using Bixby (I disabled Bixby anyway). It's also easy to use too which is great. stunning camera when given the right lighting, but also does pretty well in low light and most of my images come out pretty clear. The selfie camera is good, but I think could've been a little better, but still very good.
If you're on the fence about buying this, don't be. What I received is exactly what I expected. Good battery life, considering its a small phone and light weight, I truly appreciate the small size. I'm happy. As with Samsung they make great screens and you’ll notice screen quality as good as current phones in 2023. I believe this phone was designed to be used in a case because the glass wraps around the side and doesn’t seem Lesly feel comfortable where the glass meets the metal in a case there would be no metal bezel only seeing glass transition into a case so I really think they intended it to be in a case. The screen protector won’t protect your sides which is glass. Besides having an amazing quality screen it is an older phone will not be as fast as newer ones. ... MoreIf you're on the fence about buying this, don't be. From an objective point of view, I cannot leave a bad review because the product I received is in excellent conditions: brand new sealed, good packaging, the phone battery is good too and the phone works fine... but... I ordered and expected to receive a dual SIM phone as specified twice in the title AND details page of the product. From my experience point of view, I have also like many others been sent a single SIM phone and, this is an issue for me. At first I didn't notice it because there were 2 IMEIs on the box, but the bad surprise came when trying to insert my 2nd SIM in the second slot; checking the box again I realised the 2 IMEIs were actually the same number! As a consequence, I am sorry for myself and people reading this and looking for a brand new ... MoreFrom an objective point of view, I cannot leave a bad review because the product I received is in excellent conditions: brand new sealed, good packaging, the phone battery is good too and the phone works fine... but... However if the dual SIM slot is not important to you: go for it! Good product, good packaging, fast delivery. I hope this helps!
