It gets the job done, but stumbles to finish the most basic of tasks without slowing down to some extent.I believe the main reason here is just because it's an Android tablet, and not made by Apple. Android is a more universal operating system, built to run on many different configurations. Apple, on the other hand builds their hardware specifically for their software. While Android can run on the most low end device, You can see this when looking for an Android device, and see that even the most bare bones hardware runs some form of Android.But since this is only about a $200 device, you have to make some compromises. If you can overlook these faults, and ignore the bottlenecks that this tablet gives you, you should be fine. Just don't be surprised when your friend with their iPad gets done far quicker than you can.The only positive thing this tablet has going for it, other than it's premium looks is the fact that it still has a headphone jack on it. Something most of the newer devices from Apple have removed a long time ago.

I bought this to replace an older (non-Samsung) tablet of about the same size on which the battery is dying. Functionally, it's fine, and it lets me run some needed apps that aren't compatible with the older tablet. With only 32gig of storage you can expect it to fill up really fast if you start downloading a lot of media content on to it. That said, the quality of the display is nice and multimedia content does look good on the tablet. The speakers are okay good enough to watch videos. Well, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. In terms of overall speed the iPad is the fastest with best overall display but horribly muted audio. The Tab A7 Lite has a great bright display (one of the brightest I've seen) and mobile data is near flawless with no buffering. The most appreciated positive is the top and bottom mounted stereo speakers - in a world of decent tablet with shitty - barely acceptable audio, the A7 lite in portrait mode is a standout for it's actually loud and crisp and customizable left and right side stereo audio speakers and clean exceptionally high brightness display - it's no Retina display, however it is brighter and has better contrast than the iPad Air II - (which still wins with it's impressive pixel density and slightly lower brightnessFor under $100 a Tab A7 Lite mobile data tablet that's been scrubbed of unneeded apps and progs is a legitimate road warrior - paired with a rugged case and you've got a legitimate basic workhorse for your mobile life - if you need more power - spend more money.

The screen is responsive. The 8.7 inch screen size is a perfect size. I have had several apps open without any noticeable decrease in speed, set up was super simple. The 64GB gives me enough room to download apps without needing to have an SD card immediately (I will get one soon though) I plan on purchasing a keyboard case and a stylus to use with this in the near future.For 129.00, I have zero complaints about this nifty Samsung Galaxy.
