Well, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. However, unfortunately, I have learned (of course, after already having this, said, tablet) the colossally disappointing reality of my Samsung (because I HATE, with a passion, all things iPhone related - including their entire software platform & isolated interface) tablet, A8, not having the CPU power that my Samsung S10+ has, anywhere near the comparable storage (which I already knew at time of getting, but thought that it would be overcomable), and/or the software flexibility/compatibility to as fluidly install the same apps (such as ... MoreWell, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. The primary reason why I got it was to basically use it the exact same as my phone (only less for communications, but all other things), but with a bigger screen. Nope, it does not fuction that well. Now, I do not want to illustrate an overall negative view of this tablets functionality capabilities. In general, it works well for a lot of things. It is just a let down that it does smoothly, fluidly handle computing all of the same things that I use my phone for (other than calls & texts). If this were to be for anyone who wants to only watch Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, listen to music than it is great!

Doing this has helped to keep my tablet in pristine condition.I do set it up to charge only up to 85%. I used to do 100% but I noticed that when this happens I can lose some life to the tablet because the tablet will begin bulging and a battery replacement is needed.I also recommend a good tablet bag to carry it in when you're traveling as well as getting an extra charger cable.Overall I do love the tablet and it's good to consider your uses and how long the tablets life is for battery and storage as it will then help you maximize your usage.Hope that is helpful for you.

My device works flawlessly, the only issues I have are the battery life and time it takes to charge. Other than those things. This device is great. I use it daily. Either playing movies, games or even monitoring vehicle data thru my Obd2 Bluetooth interface. It would be great to have more programing features for tuning a vehicle. I would think that would be a priority to add to the platform due to the popularity of this new day of automobile enthusiasm. The gaming could use a few more clicks of sensitivity on the control side of the applications. I do appreciate Samsung ongoing efforts to improve the devices it carries. I also think that Samsung should bring the Note Series back into the spotlight. These devices should have never gone away. I do appreciate Samsung ongoing efforts to improve the devices it carries. I also think that Samsung should bring the Note Series back into the spotlight. These devices should have never gone away. I have spent the past 15 years respectively using the Note line. The one I'm stuck with now is the Note 10 because it was sent to me in error I am unhappy with the non expandable memory I had ordered the Note 10+, and with unexpected events that were bestowed upon my Note 9 I was forced to use this Note 10. It's good but having the SD card feature would make it better and it needs to be a bit bigger in my opinion. I feel like I'm going to break it in my hand. It feels small and dainty. All of the other Samsung products that I have used in the past and in the present have been great.. Samsung does an excellent job taking reviews and criticisms and implementing great devices from them. Keep the innovation coming and I look forward to futur
This tablet is great for the average user in every way. The A8 has many things that it gets absolutely right. Then it struggles to do a few things that it trys to do but ends up just not giving the consumer the experience I think they would want. The A8 absolutely hits it out of the park for design, display, sound and quality all for the lower price point. The display is amazing for streaming and scrolling through social media. It's vibrant and very punchy. The sound is great for media of all kinds and it has the benefit of having audio being produced out of multiple speakers. The tablet in the hand just feels like quality and durable compared to previous versions. Hands down this tablet is the best quality out of the A series in a while.Where this tablet starts to show its struggles is when you use it for any productivity. Multiple apps open task this tablet regardless of their use of the tablet CPU/Memory. Things like office apps and multiple tabs is where this tablet shows it's desire to be more of a streaming and social media usage device. The cameras are good enough for most tablet uses and dona good job at video calls. The biggest downfall of this table is the lack of Spen support. If this tablet had included this simple feature I would have given this 5 stars and had near no complaints.Don't get me wrong this device is great for what it's meant to do and does those things great at this price point.

With four speakers aboard and Dolby Atmos for tuning via headphones, you can expect great sound. I was very pleased with the overall response of the speakers, which produced rich, detailed sound. Though you can plug directly into the headphone jack, I found the speakers great on their own. The Tab A7 may cost a bit more than competing low-cost tablets, but the extra cash is well spent. It’s no pro-grade machine, but for everyday activities such as watching videos, browsing the web, and even gaming, it gets the job done and then some.
Although it's a bit slow it still does exactly what I need it to do. It's not for high end games and apps, and if you need that then the S8 is better suited for that. My A8 and I do our emailing and YouTube-ing when we are out on the go. Connected to our S23 Ultra we cover just about 85% of our www needs. Later at home A8 still does emails, socials, and chats like Discord and Whatsapp. Late at night, in bed, chilling and getting my last lols out, my lil tab is there getting us on tictoc without a fat laptop, overheating on my lap. Or an audio book in the bathtub. Music in the park. Plenty of good usage scenarios for me.My biggest gripe though is that not all apps installed can be installed on the 512gb micro sd card i bought for my tab and I can't have too many ... MoreAlthough it's a bit slow it still does exactly what I need it to do. Plenty of good usage scenarios for me.My biggest gripe though is that not all apps installed can be installed on the 512gb micro sd card i bought for my tab and I can't have too many apps installed either because it eats away on the very little GBs it already comes with.I'm happy I got my pics and documents on the card and have been using my A8 as a backup for all my pics and documents. If my A8 stops working all I need to do is remove my SD card and just plug it in another device.I've got my A8 in a nice case with a BT keyboard just for my ease of use. It helps to have a keyboard, although the touchscreen works very well, I prefer the keyboard to be honest.Would I recommend this tab to a friend or family? As an IT professional I'd ask what would they use it for, and if it's games and music apps or anything cpu intensive or having a butt-ton of apps, my answer would be to "buy the S8". If their use of the A8 would be on the lighter side of apps and performance, this A8 tab is a very good solution to that.

It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending on the model you choose. It's not the most powerful combination out there, but it's plenty fast for most everyday tasks like web browsing, social media, and streaming video. It can handle light gaming as well, but don't expect to run the latest graphically intensive games on it.Battery life is another strong point for the Tab A7. Samsung claims up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge, and in our testing, we found that to be a realistic estimate. That's plenty of time to get through a long flight or a day at the beach. The only real downside to the Tab A7 is the camera system. The rear camera is just an 8-megapixel

This could be improved.2. **Software and Updates:** Samsung's software experience on this tablet could be smoother, and timely software updates may be a concern for some users.3. **Camera Quality:** The camera is mediocre at best, but most users don't rely on a tablet for photography. Nevertheless, it could be improved.4. **Speaker Quality:** The audio quality is adequate for casual use, but it lacks depth and clarity for a truly immersive multimedia experience.User Experience:The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a decent budget tablet that caters to users who primarily need a device for media consumption, web browsing, and light productivity. Its display and battery life are its standout features, making it suitable for entertainment on the go. However, the tablet's performance and software experience could be more refined, and it may not satisfy those looking for a powerful, productivity-focused device. Conclusion:If you're on a budget and need a tablet for basic tasks and entertainment, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a reasonable choice. It offers a good display and battery life for its price. However, it falls short in performance and software refinement, so users with more demanding needs might want to consider higher-end options.
