I've had this for about a month now, it is a great budget tablet, very satisfied considering the price. However there are some things that I have learned1. Unsurprisingly with this tab being $230, heavy games such as Diablo Immortal, even on lowest settings will have occasional stutters. For a more fair comparison, I can run Genshin Impact on the lowest settings with a 45 FPS cap with the performance mode at Balanced, you could probably get away with 60 FPS.2. Make sure to upgrade your One UI to 6.1 as there are camera rotation and orientation detection problems in 3d games for the versions before.3. Touch detection seems to behave like a magnet for some reason, I noticed this first when I slowly remove my finger from the screen, and the screen will still detect my finger even if its slightly above the tablet. This isn't noticeable when performing normal tasks, however in games where you need to tap in quick succession this will hinder you as your release will be detected a few dozen milliseconds late.4. Does not come with a pen you will have to buy your own stylus and like every pad not every stylus will work for it. I have yet to buy the one sold from a third party on walmart.ConclusionThere are alot more information online in forums like reddit about this tablet. If you have an extra $80 or so, I would recommend you getting the 8gb 128gb version as that extra 4gb ram and 64gb storage will definitely be worth it. If you are looking for a good notetaking pad and can spare another $200 or so you should get the Xiami Pad 6 it is the best value tablet on the market right now.

All of Samsung's previous smaller tablets have always had quite serious trade - offs, maybe aimed at kids? either the screen resolution was just a little too blocky, or the speed was a bit too slow and lagging. You can get a smaller tablet from Apple with all the bells and whistles but it costs a lot. I was always frustrated that Samsung hadn't made a decent smaller tablet that wasn't just an under-performing afterthought aimed at children.Samsung have now finally made a very respectable smaller tablet, the Tab A9 is an excellent size for those who don't want a big tablet, its great for portability and those who do a lot on the move. The speed is fine with no noticeable lagging (i got the 8gb/128gb version), muti-tasking is pretty good, so this tablet can actually ... The display is good as you'd expect from Samsung, and even though the display specs aren't massively different from previous 8in models the display is actually fairly sharp for text, and more than satisfactory for watching film and TV, I'd even say impressive. The build quality is excellent, it has a strong, modern and premium feel and look to it, I actually feel like I'm using a large premium phone rather than a small tablet.Overall Samsung has finally put some serious effort in doing what they do best, into making a decent smaller tablet. It shows how far technology has come in 2023 when a good company like Samsung can produce a product like this at this price.

Might take a day to come through. Lack of notification sounds as I recall. Oh there is another software upgrade waiting... did the trick. Something to look out for. Notification sounds returned. Similar to Microsoft you get the package update and then a known bug fix after.Migration using the Samsung software over wifi worked well taking taking apps not in the Playstore plus directories. Email was configured but if you use customised sounds for incoming emails you do need to set them back up again. Bluetooth connections in the car etc need to be restored.Fast tablet compared to the tab S2 where apps were out growing the memory and developers were dropping Android 7 off so apps couldn't be updated and we're also blocked if you didnt update the firmware that you couldn't in anycase. Getting beyond a joke on the old tablet. Sanity now restored on the app front. Some older nitch software a bit of searching did find new software updates. Ezshare wifi SD camera card. Some fumbling with Chinese screens on that got it working. Release 5 of that to support the Chinese Market. Pleased about that one since I keep my Panasonic bridge camera 10 years old into the social media age with a discontinued Ezshare wifi card, good price at the time.Built in camera quality is good on the tablet. If you like large phablet devices, a bit bigger than the phone "phablets" which are now regular mobiles, then this is for you. Paper back sized screen for reading rather than massive 10 / 11 " tablets and the weight or mobiles that are too small. The beauty of 8" or 8.5" tablets in this case. Easy to carry in a shoulder bag.

Very good budget tablet, but not a tablet for all users. I got the 128GB and 8GB of ram A9+ tablet for my dad who will only use it for media consumption, youtube, browsing the web etc. I used this tablet for a week to test it out and see if it's okay to use before giving it to him and coming from a S9+ user it has met my expectations. The screen is good enough even though it isn't a OLED, the colors are good and the resolution is fine. You can watch videos up to 1080 and it has a 90hz refresh rate. The battery is average if you're only watching videos and nothing power heavy it'll last about a day. The tablet only charges up to 15 watts so it doesn't charge the fastest which kinda sucks. The processor is prety good, occationally it'll studder and lag but most of the ... I would recommond getting the 8GB ram option. I do not recommend this for gaming or if you're a heavy multi-task user. It's great how the A9+ comes with dex but for some reason samsung hasn't made a offical keyboard for it yet, even though it has the 3 pins at the bottom. Getting a bluetooth keyboard works just fine. The camera aren't good but that doesn't matter at all, it'll fine for zoom call meetings. After my week of using it for media comsumption, I believe it is a great optional for many users. But if you're a user who needs a budget tablet for school, note taking, multi-tasking, gaming or drawing I would recommond the S9FE or S9FE+. That tablet would suit your needs better than this one.
Great device and easy to set up and install required apps by automatically transfering the setup and apps from my Samsung smartphone. This is a superb feature as I was expecting to spend best part of a day setting it up. Sound quality is excellent from four speakers. 128G is perfect for general use, streaming etc..i chose this because I have a 64G laptop and feel this is a little under powered. I read alot of reviews about slow battery charging but haven't had a problem if just leaving it on charge during the night. Not sure about the battery length yet but it does seem to discharge fairly quickly even on standby bug I have read and suspect that it would last most of a day unless constantly video streaming. Better WiFi pickup than my smartphone and about the same as ... Better WiFi pickup than my smartphone and about the same as my laptop. I don't recall receiving a power cable and there was no charger which I think is normal for a tablet so you'll need to have a usb-c cable to hand. There was actually 65% charge in it on receipt which was plenty to set up and play until night time. My only minor gripe is that the screen refresh is very slightly glitchy when fast scrolling down on Facebook for example. This is hardly discernable though and is probably more to do with graphics memory than the 128G memory. If you've never used a tablet before, this is a great first choice and great for any usage apart from typing alot in which case I recommend buying a Bluetooth keyboard. And don't forget there are no usb ports on a tablet so you'll need to email documents to yourself, use file sharing over a network such as Dropbox or be up together on using cloud storage space. It does have a mobile phone SIM card slot but I haven't tried mind yet. Superb all round.

While browsing through various social media accounts on different windows tge tablet seema to work without hesitation or lag. I swith through windows with ease and no screen freeze. It is very smooth and transitions without drag or even video errors.Battery is also worth mentioning. I browse the internet, check social media, and play games on this tablet and the battery life is outstanding. It will last me 8 to 10 hours depending on use but it also doesnt get hot.Overall I believe that this product is very good for work and play and would recommed it to anyone interested in owning a tablet for multiple use. Witg all the features included and the Galaxy AI doing school work and multi tasking has been made simpler.
This tablet is okay, there is nothing special that jumps out but its also not horrible to use. If you can catch it on sale its worth the price especially if you are comparing it to an amazon fire tablet. At the regular price I would look at a google pixel tablet.Setup was easy and the tablet updated right away. The screen is easy to read, watch tv, and play games. Battery life is actually great, I watched youtub tv for about 8 hours on a medium brightness and the battery still had plenty of life left. The built in speakers can get loud and did not distort at higher volume. Also, it does have a built-in headphone jack! I didn't realize this when I purchased but was so happy when I saw it. I wasn't expecting an award winning camera, but come on Samsung my old Galaxy note 8 took better pictures. The second reason, you cannot disable or delete the samsung galaxy app store. Its redundant to have two app stores. However, that's not the issue, at first the galaxy app was downloading random apps to the tablet. I was able to turn that off, but I still get notifications about apps I might like. I have not found a way to turn this off and its frustrating as I do not need "AD's" on my tablet.Lastly samsung UI is fine but the stock android UI is clean and just works. I personally have started migrating away from samsung products because of the skin they put over android that just slows down the phone. I would personally look at the google pixel tablet as you get the full android experience without the bloat that Samsung puts on their devices.I didn't buy this device to leave a bad review but wanted to be honest in my findings. I also have an ipad air and use the galaxy a9+ at work to watch movies/tv and play games once in a while and it works perfectly for that use.
Pros: Inexpensive, sound is very good for a tablet in this price range, screen is pretty good for the price point. Battery isn't as good as they claim unless you are a fan of not being able to see your screen from dropping the brightness, but I've never drained it and I have it on in the background a lot, you won't have to worry about the battery. The build is good but you won't notice because you are going to put this in a case immediately right? But it's a shame because it's good quality. I have no problems with it lagging whatsoever, it's snappy and works well. I specifically got this over other tablets that where in the same price range because it has 8GB of system RAM which is why it doesn't lag and is "Snappy".Cons: Form factor is a bit big/clunky and ... I don't play games on a tablet but if you do more than casual gaming I doubt this tablet would keep up. Slow charging time, but I charge mine overnight and the battery lasts all day sooo this seems a bit petty.Bottom line: Decent/Good 11" screen with 8GB system memory and long battery life for about $220 on sale (all the time). Worth it for you, worth it for a kid, worth it for your kitchen counter to watch TV while you cook dinner.
As a devoted Android and Samsung disciple, this product made sense as everything integrates seamlessly. I don't do gaming, was just looking for something more compact than a laptop when traveling that could handle Outlook, spreadsheets, surf the web, and YouTube. It does all of that well, don't be discouraged by the 4GB/64GB memory capacity, you can add a 128MB micro SD card for around $20. And, this has a real headphone jack which is great for old timers like me. There is no video output, however, not a issue for me, but of course you can cast the screen output as on your Android phone.I was very impressed with the sound quality, this has four speakers, and while the bass is what is is for a small enclosure, YouTube music videos actually sound great, with decent ...
