Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm Bluetooth - Rose Gold

I have been loyal Samsung customer for years, and granted that Samsung offers amazing trade-in programs, I was able to upgrade my electronics whenever I needed. I have tried the most recent Galaxy watches (4, 5 and currently wearing 6) and wore each of them for over a year. Never had an issue, the designis great, the functionality, features, the way it integrates with other Samsung devices seamlessly is wonderful. This watch is a very versatile device- it's a health monitor, fitness tracker, and much more. It is an extension to the phone when you don't feel grabbing your phone. You can pay with it, make/answer calls, do messages, you name it. Love the watch and highly recommend it.

I love my watch. The rose gold is so pretty, and I love the option to change bands to dress it up or down. I had my first one for several years, then upgraded when the rose gold one came out as it's my favorite metal. It works well, long battery life, and is water resistant. It's held up to being banged against walls, and doesn't have a scratch on it. I like the round watch much better than the square Apple watch, which to me is not cute. I've never had a Samsung product that I've been disappointed in.

As someone who considers a watch an indispensable item and wears a watch every day, I also have some minimum criteria to choose a watch to suit the occasions or events I have to attend. I appreciate the features that this Samsung Galaxy Watch brings because the connection and synchronization with the phone has never been so fast. Even when I sleep, the watch can still get my sleep data. My watch is very useful in supporting my health control, making me more proactive in exercising. This watch is fantastic. Sync right up with my Samsung phone. Amazing features to track my fitness goals and activities. I really love it. It's JUST like a cellphone, so it has to be charged daily. I love it more than other smart watches that I've had before. It's slick, it's user friendly, and it's functional. I can answer the phone and everyone says they hear me clearer than if I were on my cellphone. The Bluetooth connection also has a GREAT range.

What is really uplifting is the funky stuff Samsung have added. Stuff like the 4G capability to make and receive calls without your mobile phone. And the SOS feature which detects when you fall suddenly (or which you manually activate with a few clicks of a button) and sends a distress message to your designated contacts. And the ability to control your phone camera from your wrist, or to change colours of the watch face to match your attire or using your watch surface is a trackpad or cursor. I can just imagine mesmerising clients with a PowerPoint presentation operated from my wrist watch. Except I am not sure that I would have the courage for such chutzpah! But the feature is there should I ever feel adventurous and uninhibited. The watch feels so comfortable on the wrist that you have to make an effort to remember that it is actually there. I have not taken it off since I received it except to charge it. During sleep, it automatically monitors my sleep patterns and it has many other great health features. With this bulging bag of tricks one would almost be forgiven for overlooking the watch’s most obvious feature – it also tells time

Download app to change backgrounds, upload pictures, set health goals, sleep alarms and more. Looks beautiful all while tracking your health, playing music, and answering phone calls. Even has a "find my phone" button! That's come in handy a few times. It's all you need! Good battery life - i can go a solid 2-3 days between charges. Battery running low? Put it in power save mode - buys you a couple hours - or use it all the time (limits app use), can go over a week without having to charge. Charging the Smartwatch is easy. It uses a charging dock, and is fully charged in a little over an hour.

This watch was the best option I could find with the features I was looking for except for the battery life, would only get a day & a half with only using the watch/step/countdown features. I wanted the activity & sleep monitoring but to have the use of it all day, would have to charge all night, then I wouldn't have the sleep monitoring... Loved the idea of call & text feature but never used it because I was trying to keep battery longer, didn't work.A few months in, the little circle piece on the back started coming loose then completely fell off. After that, it would take forever to charge and then that charge would only last 2-4 hrs before crapping out. Recently I purchased my first smartwatch the galaxy watch 5. There are two sizes for the watch a forty millimeter and a forty-four millimeter, but I went with the smaller one to avoid bulkiness. This being my first smartwatch I do not have anything to compare but the convince makes me question why I have not gotten one earlier. As far as comfort goes it’s as comfortable as other watches of the same size. The battery life is fair I get about 28 hours of battery life but with the quick charge feature I typically stay above 15 percent charge. As far as features go my favorite part of the watch and the main reason I bought a smart watch was for the heart rate monitor and step counter that I have found to be fairly accurate. One feature that I use more than I thought I would is the Spotify app and being able to change and pick songs on my watch or switch playlist was surprisingly useful. Another really convenient feature is being able to quickly look at notifications on the watch.As for downsides there is not many that I have incurred yet other than if you don’t have the always on display that sometime the watch won’t turn on and you have to dramatically flip your wrist a few times. Overall I really like the new Samsung galaxy watch 5 and would recommend it to anyone that is on the fence of buying their first smartwatch.
