Various improvements over or previous 2017 model: matte display, one wire for data and power, one connect box runs cooler.User interface different from 2017: more overview from various streaming services. However I preferred the design of the 2017 version, which had a small menu at the bottom and showed the current source on the remainder of the screen.Very complete collection of streaming apps.Missing feature: Chromecast. (Can only use Airplay or Samsung proprietary cast.)Motion detection for ArtMode functions well.Day/Night errs too much on the side of night. (Can be worked around by disabling and only using motion detection.)

Bought this TV in june 2021. After more than 1 year of using it I can say it has a lot of flaws and stupid design decisions by Samsung which affect its usability. To name just a few:- the Edit Channels function is absolutely worthless - it only shows one button, "rename channel" but this button is greyed-out for all digital channels. There is no pther function in to edit channels: no renumber or move button and no delete or lock - in fact you can't do anything and are stuck with the default order and default channels. TV is in home mode, not retail. I don't want to be forced to use Favorites. Using an external PC program to reorder the channel seems to work but next TV restart they are reset to the default order. I started the 3 month one, and after a little more than 1 month I wanted to add the other one - it reset the first 3 months to 1The image is fine, nothing spectacular. I did not use the wall mount.

Defective TVs by a reputed Brand

The TV was bought at a mind blowing price of ₹69000/- on Flipkart. Received the product in time but Samsung service was too slow. The installation was delayed by a week. The no gap wall mount was awesome and product was mounted flush to the wall. The Picture quality was awesome with great vivid bright images. Connected it to a sound bar and audio with Dolby atmos was awesome. Gaming quality with Xbox was great. The CEC functioned well and could control Xbox with TV remote. The smart features blew my mind. The excellant connectivity features and smooth intelligent UI enhanced the overall experience. On the 5th day connected it to Fire TV cube and it was recognised instantly by the TV. On the 5th day connected it to Fire TV cube and it was recognised instantly by the TV. AND THE GOOD STORY ENDS here. Started watching an UltraHD Movie and during dark scenes noticed screen bleeding in all four corners. Checked with multiple sources and youtube video but the bleeding was worsening every day. Returned the product to Flipkart and they sent a replacement. That TV too had same bleeding issues in all four corners. Went through many Youtube reviews for this TV but none of them mentioned this screen bleeding issue. It is the same reason Samsung hurriedly launched 2021 Frame. Many of the users were unaware ot the issue as they only used it for bright scenes and as a picture frame. But as soon as dark HDR scenes were played the bleeding was evident. Samsung should have pulled out these models from market but instead decided to sell them and take risk of panel replacement if customers noticed these defects. After two replacements, very poor service by Samsung decided to change the brand for my next TV.

Bought the 32” FrameOnly to open the box and find that the cable from the box to the tv is chunky (thicker than a tv cable) and only 2.5m long so no long enough to be of any use. Then find that the “one box” supplied doesn’t have an antenna port.Looking through the site I see on the accessories page that in small print it says the invisible cable is not compatible with the 32” but doesn’t give an options for a longer one.I see that in the details in small print under an image of a “one box” with an antenna connection that the 32” comes with a mini version but no where does it say what ports are in the mini one.Basically the 32 is an over priced screen. Not even a tv.The cables are not slim or invisible or long enough to hide the box anywhere. It’s not even fit to be a TV. It’s useless.

Excellent picture and sound - beautiful arg
26 September 2021

I bought The Frame almost a year ago. I wanted it more than anything because of the worldwide art collection in slideshow on my wall. While that’s be both better than expected (and has some glitches) I’m really impressed by the picture and sound quality. The depth of the images and their clarity is breathtaking. The sound is first class even without any add ons. There are a couple of caveats which prevented me from giving it 5 stars. The first is that it really needs a professional installer to do a proper job. This isn’t overly expensive but the nature of the equipment really requires it. I love the way it looks because of the pro installation, but it’s an added cost lots of other TVs don’t have. Second is the management system for the Art Collection. I love the way it looks because of the pro installation, but it’s an added cost lots of other TVs don’t have. Second is the management system for the Art Collection. While eventually you get what you want and it works, it’s a lot of hit and miss and it’s not obvious. Third, while the Art Collection should automatically kick in when you walk in the room, it usually require either that I turn the thing on, or that I go through an elaborate series of nonsensical steps with the clicker for it to proceed past the first piece of artwork. Then once it’s going it’ll work fine for a while then get stuck on another piece of art and need prompting to proceed. I don’t mind doing this, but it’s a bit annoying that I have to. Fourth, there needs to be a larger selection of artwork to choose from. Don’t get me wrong. The Art I have (120 pieces) is gorgeous and there are lots of options for displaying it, but it seems to lean heavily to French Impressionists (particularly Van Gogh) and whacky overly brightly coloured modern fantasy stuff that’s childish. Besides a greater selection, having new stuff more frequently would be nice. I’m really pleased with this TV and it’s unique access to the world of art. These are only suggestions for inprovement.

Great TV

Great TV! Impressive picture quality, vibrant colors, and deep blacks. The 4K resolution truly shines, providing a cinematic viewing experience. The smart features are intuitive, allowing easy access to streaming platforms. Sound is decent, but a soundbar could enhance the audio. Minimal bezels and sleek design add a touch of elegance. Overall, a fantastic choice for immersive entertainment.

I love my Samsung Frame tv so much! It’s a whopping 75” yet never looks dominating because the combination of 4K ultra HD with the truly glorious Art Mode which showcases a truly stunning, diverse and eclectic range of paintings and photographs both old and contemporary. My partner and I love discussing the painting or photography that might be displaying on a particular day - and as there is so many to choose from you really are spoilt for choice. Because of design of the tv it really does look like a genuine framed painting when not In tv mode. It is so classy and stylish compared to other flatscreen TVs in my opinion. I collect a lot of Art and sculptures and I was always worried that a huge, centrally placed tv would ruin the aesthetic of my sitting room but the opposite is true. The tv itself is a joy to use with extraordinary definition on 4K programmes. We were like little children gasping in delight and awe when we christened the Samsung by watching a David Attenborough documentary Blue planet II.I was also chuffed how easy it was to instal the TV on the wall - just one metal plate and 6 screws and then you hang the tv on that but I expect some people will opt for professional installation. And did I mention the ABSOLUTE JOY of the single THIN, almost invisible cable which is the ONLY cable that must be attached to the tv which provides both the power and all the signals needed to actually watch Sky, DVD, internet, game consoles etc.All your various external devices connect to a small separate black box on the other end of the optical cable instead of the TV itself which means there are no longer that multitude of ugly tailing wires emanating from the TV - this enhancing the concept of it being like a free hanging art frame not a tv.Very easy to set up one mounted and the black box immediately recognised My Sky box etc.Perhaps my only gripe is that the sound isn’t to the same quality as the resolution in my opinion and the aesthetically pleasing and slim horizontal starter menu display always presents an additional and unrequested vast range of tacky tv programmes and obscure channel icons underneath which spoil the aesthetic and clean lines of the home screen. But really The Frame really is a thing of beauty and the customisable bevels you can buy make the TV look even more like a real art frame. As you might see in the photo I bought a slick snap on white bezel separately and it looks lovely.

I bought two of these to swap out old TVs in my house- one slightly bigger than the other. One has been working great from day one, but the smaller one had to go back, it didn't work from day one, kept turning off. Best Buy / Samsung replaced it free of charge no hassles, so that was great. The second one came in and is working great.I'm only 4-5 weeks in with these TVs so I'm going to review them again in 2. years.Best buy did say to get the WARRANTY - because if something goes wrong with this TV in a year then you can't do much without the warranty. After the issue I had with the very first one, I coughed up and bough the very expensive warranty. SO. that's that from me...I really like how it looks, and saves me a ton of space (just hung it on the wall - got rid of my entire TV unit!!! so awesome...) and the apps are dead easy - I have no more external Apple TV boxes etc etc. I live in a small house so that was really important for me!I like to see tech developments that thin down the cords and give space back. Less jumble of wired, less crap in the corners of the house. Looks nice!

nicest looking 32" but not the greatest

Looking for a modern 32" that looks modern with a good display and slim is not easy but this is that TV. Whilst the picture quality is extraordinarily good I feel it lacks functionality. OK so its a TV that is suppose to look like a picture hanging on your wall when you're not watching a movie of some sort, however, when you do want to watch TV it falls behind the ugly looking 32" TV's. You can't mirror cast you mobile devices unless its purely saved images and saved movies you play through your mobile device. no apple TV to mirror cast ipad. No vesa wall mount, you have to use the supplied wall mount to fix on wall which doesn't make alot of sense, "why?" simple, its a 32" TV which is most likely going to be used in the bedroom then anywhere else other than kitchen potentially, if its in the bedroom, then its not really useful to be fixed on the wall without the chance to lay down in bed and adjust the screen for comfortable viewing, so a flaw in my eyes. Next flaw is that you can not adjust contrast or brightness when in picture frame mode, it does this for you automatically but makes images look a bit dull at times, would have been nice to have full control of this feature as I do find it a bit annoying. I would have thought it would have at least come with a number of pictures installed and accessible but no, you get to preview them for a few seconds, if you want any images you either have to upload your own or pay for them individually at around £15 each or pay a monthly subscription fee of £3.99. bit excessive if you ask me. The last thing that seriously gets to me about this TV is the one connect box and cable. to power the TV you have to connect the power supply to the one box which then connects to the TV which powers it, problem is this cable has a wide connection (big hole in the wall if you feeding it through), is chunky and is supplied only with a 1.5m or 2m cable with no options available at all to get a longer one because they do not exist. now that's a big big flaw. if the idea is to be able to have only one cable to the TV so you can hide the connecting cables without them having to be seen hanging from the TV, would it not make sense to have the option of a longer cable so the one connect box can be placed anywhere you like, think HDMI cable with lengths of 5m, 10m 15m etc etc, there's a reason for it so there's a reason to have one of these cables available at a longer length too as you do for other QLED TV's upto 25m, I sure could use it. For £599 I would have sent it right back without a second thought but as they had a £250 cashback offer I thought i would keep it for £349.needs some software development and longer one connect box cables to be made available asap, otherwise a great 32" TV.
