Our favorite best buy purchase! Great Picture AMAZING sound! This Samsung TV is 5 years old technology or more and it still performs like it is brand new. The picture is just as crisp as it was the first day I turned it on with absolutely no degradation. It's thin, was easily mounted using a generic wall mount, but best of all has to be the speakers. After my last thin TV I was expecting to have to buy an additional sound bar, but no. With my previous TV I was regularly turning the volume up to 75+ out of 100 just to get normal sound. This QLED 4K, despite being shockingly thin, has amazing speakers. I regularly play movies and music at 15 out of 100. On a rare occasion I might turn it up to 30 but at that point it's almost too noisy. Never have I listened to this ... MoreOur favorite best buy purchase! Great Picture AMAZING sound! This Samsung TV is 5 years old technology or more and it still performs like it is brand new. The screen is phenomenal. Great for movies, sports, AND gaming. Runs 120 fps which looks butter-smooth. If you're just looking for a good tv that covers everything well, I definitely recommend this. I do have a few gripes below over my year with this tv, but nothing earth-shattering.First, I had issues with my Xbox Series X flickering the screen whenever bright-white was displayed. It got pretty annoying, especially if I was playing at night. Took a long time to find a solution but unplugging the tv was all I needed to fix the issue, however the issue still appears from time to time.Second issue is with the Samsung tv app guide/search. It is pretty poor for finding where movies/shows are currently streaming. For example we searched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" to watch, Samsung only showed a few paid options (Vudu, purchasing on apple, etc.) to watch the movie when it is on Netflix which I am subscribed to. So it doesn't display where to watch movies on apps I am subscribed to while Roku for example will.My last issue is more of a mini-complaint. I don't think there's a whole LOT more this TV offers other than it's screen quality and high-frame rate. The app-guide and menus I found to be a little lacking for a tv that costs $500+ more than a Roku or other budget options.Overall it's well worth the upgrade price for a higher-end TV and won't crush your bank account if you find a good deal/financing, however I would have liked to see more features for upgrading.

Purchased this TV back in 2017 and haven't been able to use it for the year and a half to 2 years because it started flickering and the screen would disappear, and it would do this to the point that it became unwatchable. I paid $2500 brand new in 2017. The design is poor and Samsung is unwilling to support their design flaw. The concept is nice but if you have any issues with the one connect box or the one connect cable it is unusable, so now I have a 2500 dollar paper weight sitting in my spare room. The replacement one connect cable or one connect box are well over $200+, and its undetermined which will fix my issue, and I'm not gambling $500 dollars for a potential fix. I've had this TV for about half a year now and the graphics are great but I also come from having an older Samsung 45" TV so I can't compare with higher up models/quality. I did not have any issues installing it, it runs with my gaming consoles just fine. However, when watching any shows on Samsung TV Plus, it randomly freezes or mutes itself. Sometimes it'll resume back to normal programming after a few minutes, otherwise I have to turn off/on the TV to "reset". I'm not sure if this is the TV itself or the TV Plus app. Another thing is that the TV responsiveness to a remote click is not always instantaneous. Sometimes I click the remote and have to wait a few seconds before it registers my click. This doesn't happen often, it's a minor thing and I've always ... MoreI've had this TV for about half a year now and the graphics are great but I also come from having an older Samsung 45" TV so I can't compare with higher up models/quality. I have been slowly working on building a movie set up for the family and when I saw this tv on sale I had to jump on it. After having this for months at this point I feel confident I had more than enough time to form an opinion on it. The color on this model is pretty great when dialed in. Everything looks vibrant. That being said. You want to get it calibrated to get the best picture possible. Vivid and standard mode does not look great. It’s overly saturated, and has a blue hue to it. I prefer starting on movie mode or natural and work from there. Brightness wise it’s more than adequate for my viewing area but it is by no means class leading. That being said in terms of full panel brightness I never really wanted more, but for highlights that’s where it would be ... MoreI have been slowly working on building a movie set up for the family and when I saw this tv on sale I had to jump on it. That being said in terms of full panel brightness I never really wanted more, but for highlights that’s where it would be nice. I don’t use the speakers, I use my own system for sound so I can’t comment on that. I also use Apple TV for streaming so i haven’t used the smart features. The only other criticism i have is the blacks in dark scenes aren’t that great. They can appear blue or very dark gray and there is some blooming around subtitles. But honestly even with my nitpicks I am more than happy with it and I enjoy it very much. It’s not perfect but for me I enjoy it and don’t regret my purchase one bit!
I bought this 85-inch TV 2 years ago and while watching, it turned to a black screen. I contacted Leons and Samsung customer service multiple times but no help. They responded in a way that it was my mistake not to go for an extended warranty! Spending 3000 dollars for a tv and who expected it would die like this? And it happened exactly after 2 years. I have multiple devices from Samsung and this is the first time I`m having an issue. Fixing this is too expensive!! and Samsung won`t honor their product once it is sold. I saw many customers had the same issues after 2 to 3 years! 3000 dollars is not a small amount for me..
It's a nice large TV. And super thin! It's quite amazing how thin those TVs have come. It comes well packaged and easy to take out of the box. However, do not unbox/mount yourself. Use help because this is large. I'm not a fan of the smart side with the apps. I much prefer to use my own external player which I can upgrade to keep up with apps. So I didn't test that part and don't plan on using that part of the TV. Image quality is stellar! I'm by no mean an image expert, but you can't go wrong with any Samsung displays. It has plenty of ports to connect anything you want.
My retired dad, being a Samsung customer the last 30 years decided on getting this TV in Feb 2022 from Costco. Since he has never had a bad experience, he didn't get the extended warranty. Low and behold, 3 months after the Costco 2 year warranty the screen went black. It turns out it's a bad panel which is quite costly to repair given the price of the TV. I spoke to Samsung about it and they pretty much said it's unfortunate and we should get it repaired on our own. The warranty is over and they are no longer accountable. It really doesn't matter that as a family we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Samsung products. Net result. The $2,000 tv is going in the trash and he is buying another TV which is not Samsung. The screen has lines in it less than three months into purchasing the television. We had a new carpet put in to the house. There was literally zero physical damage. Once the carpet was installed. I had lied to my brand new TV. This is the second time that I have purchased a Samsung product and received zero in customer service, or any real attempt to rectify the situation I was basically told to buy a new TV. I will never buy any Samsung product. This is the second time where Samsung refuses to honor its product.
This 2021 Samsung model is an entry level QLED (they did not make a 2022 model). It is an edge lit display, so you will see the backlight coming from the edges in certain scenes, but I don't find it to be too distracting. The picture is nice and bright, probably a little too bright out of the box, but that can be adjusted. We watch mostly the major streaming services (movies, shows), YouTube TV and YouTube. As long as the quality of the feed is good, the picture quality will be good. Another plus is that the panel is very thin (since it is edge lit), making the 75" relatively light at 78 lbs. with the stand. The biggest downside of this TV is Samsung's Tizen operating system (I prefer the Google TV operating system on my Sony X91J), which I am not a fan of because ... MoreThis 2021 Samsung model is an entry level QLED (they did not make a 2022 model). The biggest downside of this TV is Samsung's Tizen operating system (I prefer the Google TV operating system on my Sony X91J), which I am not a fan of because the UX is too crowded with Samsung's extra content and the row of app icons, which is what is most important to most viewers, is too small. I bought an open box version of this TV for $1050, which was an excellent deal, but I might feel differently if I paid closer to the regular price of $1500-$1600.
