Using the older MacBook, the display will sometimes not register the MacBook as connected, requiring power cycling the monitor to connect and when it does connect it always leaves a Samsung on-screen box in the top left of the screen blocking some menus making it all but unusable. Our M2 MacBook has no such issues with this monitor.I can't recommend this monitor because of these issues. We noticed the issues with the Intel MacBook outside of the return period or we would have returned the monitor.

This is a good affordable monitor however it lacks several features I would normally seek including Bluetooth connectivity Wi-Fi connectivity and additional Port options. With only one HDMI port and one usb-c port, and one DisplayPort it makes it difficult to use the monitor with multiple devices. Additionally without Wi-Fi connectivity or smart features the monitor is not accessible in Samsung SmartThings. On a positive note I love the curved feature and resolution and color are very good. I use it exclusively for work and browsing, no gaming.

The product is pretty great overall. The 4K resolution screen is quite sharp. All USB dock ports seem to be working, and the screen already comes with a 6ft Thunderbolt 4 cable. It works well with Mac. One thing to note is that the screen's default color setting is strange. The black level option has been set to low (should be normal). I also saw other comments mentioning that this monitor always returns the same EDID information. However, I only purchased one and did not have a chance to use the daisy chain feature. No problems for me so far at all.

Purchased many Samsung monitors in the past without problems and Samsung products as well. Bought this monitor because of the Thunderbolt4 capability for my Mac. Previously sent in for service as the Thunderbolt display capability went out. Within a two weeks after receiving back, its out again and being sent back for repair. 1st experience with service was great and the shipping process seamless. My latest instance was not very efficient (i.e. asking me for all of my information, receipts, etc all over again). Using this for business use and major inconvenience. When working the image quality is great. Unfortunately it hasn't been broken more time than of use

It's size pretty much matches the size of the Odyssey G7 4k IPS.I was concerned about Samsungs quality control, but I had no dead pixels and the color accuracy is calibrating to P3-DCI at 97% using my Spyder Data Color X Pro. Very early I experienced the setup and connection overlay windows freezing on the active screen. The only way to disengage them was to unplug the monitor as the power button lost functionality. Also experienced the display freeze upon waking the computer up from sleep. Experimented by hooking up my old HDMI monitor which worked fine. Again, I needed to unplug the monitor to have it function again as the power and other buttons were unresponsive. Spoke to Samsung Tech who did a “hard reset.” That seemed to work for a few days. Downloadable firmware updates on the Samsung site did not help resolve the issues.
