This is a nice replacement remote for my Samsung TV. It worked first time with out any problems. It is very easy to figure out. I would say it took 5 minutes to get everything up and running including programing all the channels I receive. The only thing I didn't like is the back lighting is poorly designed and not very helpful. The back lighting was not a deal breaker for me. The remote still works very well.

You have to push hard and fiddle with it to make it work. And aim it directly at your tvs eye. Also its made out of way cheaper material. 1/4 the weight of original remote. But its better than nothing.

Inappropriate question; "Is it easy to program?" It's not program; it's pair. It's plug & play. No programming. This is an exact replacement. Remote paired by itself. No hassle.

Yes indeed!! My frustrations are over....upon opening this exact replacement controller, I was so excited that it popped from my hands an flipped in the air only for me to catch it! After inserting the batteries, I gave it a go and sure enough.......my TV lit up nicely, all functions including program (when needed) worked as expected. I was tired of using an outdated controller whose buttons continually "stuck" or numerical buttons responded radically by showing different numbers on my screen not even touched. The "feel" of this controller was very nice, it felt new and it's performance was "exacting"......easy to read button values, and well made. Thank you again for making my life more enjoyable:)
This is indeed the perfect replacement for our non functional remote. It pulls up the menu, changes volume and channels, and most importantly, accesses the Smart Hub for the Samsung Smart TV built in apps. Isn't that the purpose of a smart TV? Great price for a replacement. You don't need to contact the company for an expensive replacement remote. Get this one.
This replacement remote control worked great once I put batteries into it. Considering I rebuilt the TV this remote controls. I searched the web for a replacement controller, this business was the one with the best price and claimed a speedy shipment. I wasn't disappointed at all. They backed up the guarentee, and now my wife is enjoying the TV. We did have an extra basic controller, but needed the smart function key. And now things are easier to navigate to with the use of the new controller. Thank you for aiding in my journey of to TV reabilitation. :)
Not up to the standard of the original. This product is a cheap Chinese knockoff of the original Samsung controller. It works, but the buttons are a bit stiff and difficult to depress. if I could go back in time I would have paid more for the real item.
Not bad for a cheap replacement but not all of the buttons light up as its like a hit and miss kinda lighting. Also extra steps are needed for a sleep timer as i did not notice at first but had to find it under the menu button instead of its own button which was nice. Also the channel down button is extremely easy to just tap it and changes channels on you. Me i would pay extra for a remote with better lighting and its own timer button. I bought 3 of these as a standby and will look for a better remote so at 6 plus dollars its Ok i guess for that i will keep for an emergency only.
It's just like the original, except the buttons on the replacement actually work. I'm still unsure what really happened to the original's buttons, when none of them except the SOURCE button worked. The replacement arrived much sooner than expected and was wrapped in plastic making it perfect.
All the function buttons you'll ever need in one compact remote. I can't believe they can sell these for $5.35 with free shipping.
