With a diagonal angle of view of approx. 180° for full format, it provides a huge field of view. Perfectly suited for overviews, interiors, confined spaces, as well as for reportages in such places. The Lens puts the subject in the right light. With a lens speed of T 3.1, the Lens has a high initial light intensity. Due to the short focal length and the low magnification, it is characterized by a very large depth of field. For videography For videography, the aperture can be continuously adjusted from 3.1 to 22 and the focus adjustment is soft and smooth. This enables smooth focus tracking, especially when shooting video. The aperture ring and focus ring have a gear ring and are therefore optimized for use with follow focus systems and simplify use when filming.
